@Shad361 that fair. For the ray tracing upscaling is a big plus for me + 2tb nvme . Sold my launch ps5 so isn't quite a hit. Not to mention it's nearly 4 years old do for it's worth it. Suppose it depends on individual circumstances.

It's not a disaster , only about 15% of the player base bought the ps4 pro , I'm one of them. Same for ps5 pro

Probably pass on this, don't really like spending all my time on one game. Not the biggest fan of horizon . Quite a lot of j-rpgs this year and next year like ghost of tsushima sequel add assassins creed shadows Id rather play over a live service game + sequel to trails through daybreak

Yep managed to pre order the ps5 pro, wasn't that interested in anniversary edition tbh

@Digit2021 not really you paid for a service and you've used that service. Even if it's a limited timescale , say 5-10years . You don't get your money back if you paid for a taxi /train and used it. Same idea. As servers cost a lot of money to run and can't be operated indefinitely

I managed to snag a ps5 pro. Missed out on 30th anniversary bundle. Glad in a way as the bundle isn't out of until 21st November costing £950 in the uk and I've sold my launch ps5 for pros 7th November launch.
saw ps5 pros selling on eBay for 4-5k. Absolutely madness 🤣

@QiaraIris, fair, I've actually not playedcthe dlc . So I can't really comment on that, just off playing the normal game.

I don't have an issue with controlling a female character. What I feel is that jin's story is unfinished. Like starting a new story but then scrapping it and stopping less than halfway through. Jin only really beginning after the ending of the first game . It's just a weird strategy . I probably won't buy it straight away

Not surprising tbh after sony buying bungie to help either live service games: in my opinion the worst live service game, destiny where it's the exact same activities for the last almost ten years , would have been better with square enix, finsl fantasy 14 while flawed has really turned its fortunes around. I really hope sony learns from this

Generally I don't mind remasters - apart from the fact naughtydog did a remaster of a remaster and called it a remake . Tbh in my view developers are way too focused on graphics , with a lot of lazy remasters just updating the graohics but the same old stale gameplay -like mafia 1, it looked gorgeous but the ganeplay wouldn't have been out of style 10 years years ago. The same can be said of the flop that was saints row. There's no real effort or innovation in thr game industry. Noone takes risks. Arguably because of the economy. Also the typical consumer does have a clue about technology. The fact the ps4 is coming up for ten years and expecting to pay the same price for the ps5 pro as the ps4 cost; considering the ps4 had HDD and the ps5 uses a special NVME SSD, not including the fact the graphics card is worth between 300-400 alone . Personally I'm selling my og ps5 to cut costs , it's a good deal considering my ps5 is coming up for 4 years

tbh i wouldn't mind horizon zero dawn remaster if they update the gameplay, if it's the same game with updated graphics i'll probably skip

700 isn't very high tbh. I spent a good 3k building a decent pc . Not chance you'll get a decent enough pc for 700 that matches the ps5 ability to have fast loading times

The basic consumer is ignorant about technology. The graphics card alone costs like 500 quid, so its a great deal. Won't be able to get a pc on the same level as the ps5 pro for 700. Day 1 purchase for me. I can sell my og ps5 I've had since launch for 300

I'm considering selling my og ps5 and buying it but it depends if you can buy the detachable disk drive at the same time

I wouldn't pay more than 55 for a standard game , 90 if its a season pass but rarely buy games thst cost about 70 unless it's the trails series limited edition , . I Wouldn't normally pay anything extra above 55. Not really keen on GTA VI especially if it's anything like GTA V. Prefer a long single player campaign like OG san Andreas

Most live service games are there to squeeze money kut of gamers . Sure this particular game has less toxic business practices. However a lot of gamers are sick of the lack of risk taking and constant remakes and remasters. Personally I'm not a fan of playing desthmatch over snd over to rank up . I'd much rather spend time on a single player game than dedicate my free time on a multiplayer game. It just looks like another fortnite clone

@Yagami exactly so that's hardly fair it came out over 20 years ago. Limited due to the technology at the time. If it was a ps4 game that be a different story. I would love a remake

@Zenszulu for me gameplay and story trumps graphics. Sure there are issues like camera angle etc but if you look beyond graphics and look at the ganeplay, story, world building . For its time it was one of the best games . It may lack polish but more than makes up for it in other areas.

@Zenszulu I think your given ps2 games way too much credit . Also it really is, because they're moaning about the graphics, saying it's not polished etc you can't compare it to the sane standards today. The ps2 held less than 5gb on disks compared to the 70gb - 150gb

Unfair review. It's a ps2 game. The main issue that too many games are way too focused in graphics and only last 15-20 hours. Trying to compare a ps2 game to current ps5 games isnt fair . The story/world building and characters are so much better than most modern games if you look past the graphics

Definitely one of sonys worst moves. Sony way overspend for acquiring bungie. I get why though. Sony wanted bungies experience in live service and looking to earn a lot of money with various live service projects/games. However the gaming community is a lot smarter , me and many others are not interested in paying for live service content. I made the mistake of trusting bungie , paying for yearly content from destiny for almost 9 years , after 6/7 years giving content away for free and locking away content because they couldn't handle how big it got , yet ff14 /square enix managed it fine - yes its taken a lot of work after it bombed but they turned it around - a much better partner for live service imo.

Much better than borderlands 3 imo, I loved the d&d vibe

Can get the majority of these titles cheaper by buying the physical edition from online retailers. Maybe one day digital prices will drop

It's very nice; depending in the price and release date, I may buy as one of my controllers died. Just in the process of buying my own flat/apartment , so money is a bit tight. Not bought any AAA games for a good 6 months

Been playing trails series since 2011 , started trail in the sky. 2nd and 3rd on pc and played every trail game since - 10/13 platinums , no mention of spinoff nayuta

It's an ok game, expected a better story from the head guy from ff14 , misses a lot from the main games. Elements are pointless,upgraded weapons don't really do a lot , a lot of palette swaps for enemies and ekon abilities are practically the same with different elements across the ekons.

For me it's way too expensive. Same price as a ps5. I have a ps5 and that's enough for me. I'm not gaming much these days as focused on other things

Depends on how it runs , I recently bought g-police and started wars: the phantom menace and thry run terribly on ps5

Never played a nioh game yet, mainly stick to j-rpgs though have dabbled in elden ring . Generally not a fan of open world gsmes as map is usually cluttered with repetitive tasks and story is stretched too thin

There's a lot of good r-rpgs coming out,can't wait for penny blood and armed phantasia next year plus trails into daybreak this july but not much in terms of action/adventure type games. I'd love another true crime/sleeping dogs game . I know big hitters can now take about 5 years to make
