@Rangers420 Same. I really wanted to like this one. On paper it sounds like something right up my alley but got bored in a forest area some hours in.

I'll have to give it another try.

Fantastic trio of games.

So much nothing to choose from.

Fun game that I enjoyed but the gameplay was a bit disjointed. Starting the game (and story) out midway through the anime was the first thing. The game should tell you about it or at least give a summary.

The missions were fun but I wasn't sad to see it was a short game.

@Jedihillis Serious question - is there a point where it kicks in? Not looking for spoilers but I have tried the first game 3 times and cannot get into it. I loved old Metal Gear games should I not be expecting a similar experience?

I just ran out to the Wind Station and now it wants me to run all the way back to Central Knot City? Geeze. I feel like there needs to be more stuff happening between destinations.

Insanely good game. Loved it and also loved Clair Obscure. I bought both for full price and think the both deserve to be played by any turn-based fan.

8/9 I would say. Much more enjoyable as a part-based game. Even with randos though that experience varies.

Been wondering if they did away with crafting in this one? Would be a pretty strange change for a Rune Factory but it sounds like farming has been tuned way down?

@Michael2008ish Would so love a Vagrant Story remake or even remaster with more modern controls. I had it as a teenager and didnt get to finish it.

I've come back to it a time or two but an update would be very welcome.

@dskatter Something like that would be perfect. It just seems like it's always on (in most games) and takes over the Share button with no option to disable.

I hate photo mode so much. A button that could be used for other things but every game seems to require I use for photos and accidentally hit at least once per session.

I'm in the home stretches of this one and loved it. At so many points it reminded me of Dragon Quest - Solid 9/10 for me. Makes me want to play DQ Builders again.

Truly amazing game. 40hrs in and loving it.

It's a huge game that was a masterpiece. It is good AS IS.
