Ps1 sequence is iconic. But the ps4/ps5 beep is unrivaled. Omg.... I'm missing it right now.

Cool... but announce world 2 already. I bought rise and sunbreak on ps5. I held my end of a made up bargin.

Oh and to add, Sony service right now doesn't seem to harming the industry like the other one.

I don't want the higher tiers. But I like the fact that Sony is leaving it completely optional. They don't seem to be relying on it. I can respect that. If they put champions of norrath on it, I will get the high tier lol.

Great games are everything. That's the main thing. Sure it's not the only thing in 2023. But its at least 95%of the things.

@LifeGirl you can understand how capitalism works and still be wrong. Immortal has made a ton of money. They can still get immortal money and not implement pay to win mechanics in d4 which so far from everything we've seen and they've said aren't in d4.

@MFTWrecks first battle pass is 10 bucks based on if you do the math of the different versions of the pre orders.

I love the genre. And I thought with ultimate alliance (an isometric beat em up I will argue this) and most definitely rockstar the warriors I thought we were on the cusp of a
Genre revolution. While I love the classic side strollers, just imagine tmnt in the warriors world. That would be amazing.

This bothers me. A precedent has been set and as a console gamer I don't like it. Still a rumor, but still...

So over dramatic they are being. Consumers don't want you strong arming them into service systems. The UK don't want you at a complete advantage over streaming and cloud. Not sure what ms doesn't understand about that.

@Jill_Sandwich bad take. People moved away from those series. A kill zone was released on ps4, sold not great and was never discussed as being anything more than an average game.

If I was unable to have a ps5 then I would support this decision. But since I have a ps5, it's well past time to leave ps4 behind.

@kyleforrester87 no one is getting up in arms. And he saying what he hopes doesn't happen. There a time we're shooters dominated the landscape. There was a time when sports games dominated the landscape. He's saying he's hoping there isn't a future dominated by live service.

Journey was amazing. And I agree, I don't want a future dominated by service games. Them existing isn't bad. Them being the main course of gaming as a whole is.

You can see the entire map, it's just more steps than the push of a button. Maybe long press the emote button activates emote tab, short press, brings up map overlay

The single player mode was surprisingly good imo. The game wasn't bad. My biggest issue that made the game unfun at times were enemies had moves that you can't attack them out of. Screws up the flow of combat. Game could have been better if they weren't trying to be destiny.

I don't even consider the ps2 to be retro. And ps1 is borderline in my eyes. I'm just old, that's what it is.

@Gremio108 because media moved slow then. That worked too their advantage. They didn't evolve and felt like the industry needed them. The first and biggest nail in the coffin is Sony realizing that they didn't need e3.

Besides corpse explosion/ blood mist combo, no skill needs a nerf yet. But druid might need a buff. Barb, the whole fury thing can use a modern update.
