2K Games has announced both the final Marvel's Midnight Suns DLC and the base game's PS4 version will release next week on 11th May 2023. The last expansion features Storm from the X-Men, and she brings with her the normal set of new story missions, Abbey upgrades, and abilities as Deadpool, Venom, and Morbius did before her. Watch the reveal trailer above for more.

In a new blog post, it's been confirmed this will indeed be the final piece of DLC for the strategy experience from Firaxis Games. An XCOM 2: War of the Chosen style offering after launch is no longer on the cards, as some fans had hoped for. However, if you do beat all four expansions the game has to offer, it's teased there'll be "a final showdown against an age-old monster of myth". There'll at least be that to look forward to.

As for the PS4 version, you'll be able to pick between buying the base game or the Legendary Edition, which bundles in all the paid-for DLC released after launch. It's not known what resolution or frame rate the last-gen version will run at just yet. At least it's addictive card-based combat and Fire Emblem: Three Houses-esque social sequences will carry over, which we found to be the highlights of Marvel's Midnight Suns.
