@heavyartillery56 the success comes from finally bringing this franchise back to a proper home console. On top of that, creating an actually fun game. The game has a ton of microtransactions, but it's all cosmetic and completely optional.

@Neither_scene the only reason to play is to either do the higher missions or make a new hat. That's the loop.

Especially with the app. I can do adult things, so it's not a big deal. Maybe to a child with low patience it's a deal breaker, not referring to you. Just saying. You're over selling that aspect.

@Member_the_game they are similar in that they are consoles, closed pc systems basically. That's where the similarities for me end. So I can't think of anything that would make me choose xbox over ps. What they should be focused on is why I should buy an Xbox in addition to a ps.

The wait of free game crowd is also a problem. Gamers are impatient and cheap. Live service games literally caters to them. But then they complain about that. When we support the things we want, we get the things we want. If all you want is free...well you'll continue to get live service

The problem would be, I'm confident Rockstar would give 100 bucks worth of a game, it's that the entire industry would follow and not give us even close to the same quality. We just saw this when games went up to 70. We haven't been getting better games or quality games across the board from games along for 70.

Bought this a few months ago, and i rarely say this, i see exactly why it won game of the year. Excellent and well done. I don't love the turn based, but everything else is perfect to my taste.

Would much rather it be now. But didn't people play it recently? Maybe it'll at least be that version which seemed better than the previous beta.

So Microsoft literally can't afford to not put it on ps. I mean it would be in the red if it solely relied on game pass subs. I wonder what sub count would have to be for it to be considered profitable.

@Bez87 what hurt avengers was the actual combat. And it tried to be too much like destiny. A marvel game doesn't need to rely on loot. The fun is the characters.

@carlos82 bl2 story was great, tps story was great, even wonderlands story was good. Bl3 story was just really bad.

Now I want to buy this game, just out of pure support. I'm totally fine with restrictions for children gamers, but make it make sense.

I would love a sequal, but if we were to ever get a sequal, after bl4 makes the most sense. But base game, one of the best in the series

@DennisReynolds when did this become the narrative to support free to play developers, but we also lambast developers who do charge. They've made more money with microtransactions than they would have for a paid game. But it's also early access, so this isn't a big deal, nor a foreign practice on any level.

It's not the full game, so I'm not in a rush to pay 30 bucks to wait. I'm Patient.

I never hated the. Bungle acquisition. But while I'm not a fan of the industry being consolidated, I understand this. I don't think this hurts the industry. But we'll see.

Fine but before they leave us high and dry, female a bunch of heist from pd2 first. This is sad and bothers me. Had they made the game based on what we liked in pd2, game would have done much better.
