Can someone please name me another 3rd person, open world, action, story driven game with 300+ zombie (freakers) horde, looking and running better in Unreal Engine 4?
I think it has shown more than enough to set itself apart which is why I kind of shake my head when I hear people say it looks generic.
The other 3 games set to release on the same day are Crackdown 3, Anthem and Metro Exodus. I don't really see any of these affecting Days Gone.
Crackdown 3 is an xbox "exclusive" and will likely get delayed, Anthem is more multiplayer focused with a story and Metro Exodus is a story driven first person survival/stealth shooter.
@adf86 “In this screenshot — there is a lot to unpack here — but most importantly, you’ll see that there is a puddle in the ground right in the middle there. So before we move on, there’s a 98% chance that puddle is gonna be changed, moved, reduced…”
The people who started this crap are mostly Xbox fanboys, they have done this for every big ps4 exclusive. Trying to disrupt or downplay the game just before its release, but time and time again they have been proven wrong. Quite pathetic.
@Rudy_Manchego Sony announced they are doubling down on first party game development, considering the great games they have released and ones still to come, that's all I need to hear.
They have a proven track record now in regards to bringing quality aaa exclusives, its taken them years of hard work to get here. I think if anyone understands a previous generation doesn't mean you will do well the next its Sony, I have faith in them.
Good thing is they can always make Until Dawn 2 down the line if they want to as well for Sony.
They really should have stuck to what worked for them after Until Dawn imo, the VR games didn't do that well, even Hidden Agenda while good put a few people off thanks to no controller support, playlink etc
@jFug I'm thinking if there is no physical release with each entry in the series they will at least bundle them all together in a physical release at the end.
Personally though I think there will be a physical release with each entry in the Anthology.
@hulkie I'm thinking in between Hidden Agenda and Until Dawn.
Hidden Agenda took about 1-2 hours to complete while Until Dawn took anywhere from 8 - 10 hours to complete, I'll say about 4-5 hours but even 3-4 hours will be fine imo as long as the price represents that.
In saying that though, I'm going to wait until they are all released to play the full game, it ruins the experience waiting in between episodes (The Walking Dead Series)
I played Life is Strange all the way through in one play through it was so good.
@hulkie I don't think it will be episodic like telltale games. I think there will be full releases digital and physical for each game, as its an Anothogy it will likely be different people in each game as well but maybe set in the same universe with different horror stories like you said.

Re: Insomniac Confirms New Game + on the Way for Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4
Awesome! Still need to finish my first playthrough at the moment, will definitely do another play through on new game plus.
Re: The Last Remnant Remastered Announced for PS4
This came out of left field, I was going to pick it up again on steam before they pulled it but this is a great surprise.
Played it on 360 but had such a big backlog I didn't get back to it, will pick this up for sure if it gets an English release.
Re: Guide: What Time Is Sony PlayStation's TGS 2018 LineUp Tour Livestream?
Yoshinori Kitase said that each ‘episode’ of the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be the size of a full-length video game.
Re: Round Up: Shadow of the Tomb Raider PS4 Reviews Can't Make Up Their Mind
Yea, definitely waiting for a price drop before I pick this up, maybe just wait for the GOTY edition.
Nothing wrong with a 77 though, not that it really matters, should be an enjoyable game.

Will pick it up in the bargain bin down the line.
Re: Guide: What Time Is Sony PlayStation's TGS 2018 LineUp Tour Livestream?
Project Awakening looks awesome and that new game from Yakuza developer looks great as well.
Also there was a VR game that looked cool Kill X, had a resident evil zombie vibe.
Re: The Walking Dead: The Final Season Physical Edition Releases Before the Last Episode
This is so stupid, just wait until you can put all the episodes on the disc. I won't be buying this, do it properly or don't do it at all.

haha Nice one from Bioware.
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 to Have Photo Mode
Puddles only matter when its a ps4 exclusive, seem to remember missing trees in God of War getting jumped on as well .
Good to see photo mode added, should be neat.
Re: Sony Won't Allow Fortnite Cross-Play Because It Believes That PS4 Offers the Best Experience
@vitalemrecords Whatever?
Good for you champ, not sure why you're telling me.
Re: Sony Won't Allow Fortnite Cross-Play Because It Believes That PS4 Offers the Best Experience
Not sure how anyone can say xbox is the best place to play when you need xbox live just to play that free to play game.
Hmmm, is that not anti consumer? Why aren't fans using that same energy to pressure Microsoft?
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 Reviews Will Run on 4th September
Probably will go full media blackout just before then anyway, don't want to spoil anything big.
There are actually sad pathetic people out there on a mission to deliberately spoil the game for people, so just be careful.
Hope everyone enjoys the game, I know I will.
Re: Spider-Man PS4 May Have the Best Photo Mode Ever
Damn, watching this just got me even more excited for the game.
Re: Sony Won't Allow Fortnite Cross-Play Because It Believes That PS4 Offers the Best Experience
I don't give a damn about Fortnite nor do I care about cross play, sick to death of hearing about either.
Re: Spider-Man PS4's Puddle Drama Is An Absolute Embarrassment
@shafedog247 So true.

Re: Round Up: Dragon Quest XI PS4 Reviews Aim for Heavenly Heights
Can't wait, will get in at least 3 good days of playtime before Spiderman releases.

Now the waiting game.....
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Gets a Full 48 Minute Gameplay Demo
Wow, didn't expect this good news when waking up this morning.
Downloading the 4k version of it now, must resist temptation to watch in the mean time!
Strange they caved in now though, meh whatever just glad we have it already.

Re: Guide: Best New PS4 Games at Gamescom 2018
@NintendoFan4Lyf Supermassive has already been on record saying they wanted to go mulitplat a couple years ago.
https://gamerant.com/until-dawn-dev-multiplatform-103/
Good thing is they can always make Until Dawn 2 down the line if they want to as well for Sony.

Re: Guide: Best New PS4 Games at Gamescom 2018
Still waiting eagerly to hear about "Project Mephisto" the working title.
Re: PS4 Passes 7 Million Units Sold in Japan
Uhh crossplay, wish that talk would die already.
Sony will be fine, they are bringing their fans what matters, high quality exclusive games, it is a games console after all.
I don't want cross play, I want games and they are bringing that in quality and quantity.
Microsoft on the other hand are not, plain and simple.
Re: Gamescom 2018: Watch 16 Minutes of Uncut Gameplay from A Plague Tale: Innocence

Just show us gameplay already.
Re: Gamescom 2018: Battlefield V Introduces the Company
Not sure what all the fuss is about pre-orders, I will be picking it up on release date.
Only time I pre-order a game is when its a collectors edition and it will likely sell out, looking forward to it.
Re: Gamescom 2018: Fallout 76's Latest Educational Video Covers Crafting and Building
Lost interest in the series after Fallout 4, an online fallout hasn't changed that.

Getting a Bioshock/Puzzle vibe from this, might keep an eye on it.

Shut up and take my money now!

I played Life is Strange all the way through in one play through it was so good.
Can't wait.
Re: Gamescom 2018: Until Dawn's Supermassive Introduces the Dark Pictures Anthology
Still hoping they work with Sony again and make an Until Dawn 2, this will keep me tied over until then though, can't wait.
