Hideo Baba, perhaps best known as a recurring producer for Bandai Namco's Tales series, started up his own game development studio under Square Enix last year. Formed as Studio Istolia, the team's first title is currently known as Project Prelude Rune, and it got a teaser trailer at Sony's PlayStation LineUp Tour earlier today in Japan.
As we've come to expect of Square Enix and its Japanese-developed games, this seems like a very early reveal, but it at least looks the part. It's being crafted using Unreal Engine 4, and it appears to feature a large, explorable world.

And that's all we've got to go on right now. Keep your eyes peeled for more details in the relatively near future.

Looking forward to seeing more of this in the future
Looks lovely... Just hope he can run faster than that! No fast travel sorry I'm out!
It's like next-gen tales game compared to berseria that looks like upscaled ps3 games, unreal engine is the right choice for most developer
Artstyle looking real nice, will keep on eye on this one.
Graphics look like if you fused the Tales series with Dragonquest
@wiiware Tales of berseria came out on PS3 in Japan.
I wonder which will arrive first this or the first current generation tails game.
Cool, though I hope they won't add a lot of DLC that isn't really worth the asking price just like the Tales of games are known for.
Cool teaser, hopefully it has a gripping sotry and gameplay too.
@AllTheReddist I was just about to say this, not that it's a bad thing.
