Re: We Want to Make People Think and Laugh and Cry, Says Sony

Callmegil

Playstation really has a knack for stories, pun not intended. For me, a game needs to move me, it need to sink down to the bottom and lift me off. Playing a game isn't enough, I need a story and now that Devs have gained the ability to create cinematic stories in huge landscapes, it's impossible to say no.

I just want a good game and so far, I have nothing to complain. God of War was amazing, Detroit was emotionally melting, I loved it. Spider-Man is next. We still have Ghost, The Last of Us, Days Gone and others. You can't ignore Playstation with a lineup this strong.

That puts a gap, isn't it? Since PS4 has exclusive content, it could be an excuse to prevent cross progression. I say keep them coming, I'd love a Delsin uniform or a Nathan Drake one. Street Fighter V and Fortnite collab... SONY!!! YOU NEED THIS NOW!!

Re: Sony: We're Exploring What Our Customers Want from Portable Gaming

They can't, unless they find a way to make a medium storage device that is not as limited and expensive as the cartridges that Nintendo uses, for example. Spec-wise, they can overcome that any day of the week, it doesn't have to be a mobile chipset. Get creative, Sony. You'll get somewhere if you keep an open mind.

Re: Horizon Developer Guerrilla Games Recruiting for New Game

@JoeBlogs No, I want them to have a groundbreaking leap from the first title, my fam. It's not like my requests are impossible to fulfill anyway, they already have a template for it, if they want, they can hire me and I'll single-handly make these features a thing. (Being hired before graduated, sounds like bargains to me)

Re: Horizon Developer Guerrilla Games Recruiting for New Game

If it's an Horizon sequel, I have a few requests, ahem:

  • Give us the choice to ride every machine that can be overridden.
  • Give us the choice to let overridden machines follow you.
  • More collosal sized beasts, Thunderjaw and Stormbird were a great challenge, but skies the limit! I want my flying dragon robot and a T-Rex with chainsaws for a tail.
  • More mild machines, Tallneck is the only machine that does not care about your presence, we need more of that.

Am I asking for too much?

@get2sammyb If it's a remaster, the story won't be changed drastically. I don't mind what they don't with the story, I mind how they handle the character's initial principles. That's what I'm bothered by. If Rin isn't a trap and they maintain Vincent's initial sexual orientation, good enough for me.

Edit: Also, yea. Apologies for expanding this subject, I just saw a lot of comments talking about it and I really wanted to have a short word on this matter. Even though, it's not related to the article.

Re: Catherine: Full Body Will Drop Its Undies in the West

@Orpheus79V I must have given the impression I have a problem with trans. I don't, my problem is that Vincent wasn't plotting a Trans. This changes the character of Vincent if it's taken to the way it's being led off to. If the game was new with different characters, different story and different direction, that's fine, extra fine, something new. But please, don't change the original game.

Re: Catherine: Full Body Will Drop Its Undies in the West

Let me just voice my opinion on this matter. Yes, there is an issue if the new Catherine (Quatherine) is a trans. Why? Because the original Catherine didn't have any of this diverse nonsense. The world of video games doesn't require any of the political views nor this movement to satisfy the ones on the left, these people who want diversity don't even play the games, so why bother? While you're at it, make Catherine black and make Katherine a dwarf. Why not, isn't diversity great?

You can make a diverse game if the game is brand new, Catherine isn't new and I'm not looking forward to it if it's different from what the original was. Keep it the same way it was, it's that simple.
