I bought F.I.S.T. right after Pushsquares review, really good game.... Never finished it though. Don't think I'm a metroidvania fan Hack and Slasher though? Keeping an eye on this
@BAMozzy As one who pre-ordered the SteamDeck, and also has a portal, the 2 experiences are NOT the same. Simply put the ergonomics on the Portal, the weight and the screen, battery(don't have oled SD) greatly make up for any " on board playability" I use SD for Greenlight on Series X and it's pretty great, even with how well ergonomically the Deck is made, the weight and slightly cramped controls make longer sessions hard. The Portal is fantastic niche kit, certainly not crap-
You're a diehard MS fan(i just joined Xbox at a rocky time), you have a tendency to rabbit hole anything with comparable context to something MS does which can lead to some very very long rants
This is pretty exciting, except for the part where 95% of my collection is physical. I'm to lazy to check, but I'm guessing physical won't work with this? I don't have the upload speeds to use it normally outside the house, but could play cloud...hmmm I do love my display of physical- 🤔
@captainsandman some of the lighting and color pallette does a bit, background too.
Kind of a jarring disconnect with the characters and their texturing though
Another one to send to my daughter, killing it Pushsquare😄
Can't take anything you say seriously @Dogbreath when you would rather stream, than play natively on your PC that apparently has nearly identical specs to GEFORCE rigs
It may be one of the most spectacularly nonsenseical things I've ever read.
Welp, I'll be buying this used off of Gamefly- I don't buy often from Gamefly but it's the biggest F.U. way to buy used.
A few odd thousand people have already played it and now I'll "own" it knowing they got the least amount of return from me
I love my Series X too, but I'm so disillusioned with Microsoft
Edit: it's petty, but i think I'll pick up Indy and all future disk releases from MS and other 3rd party that feel " this is the way"
It's a novel idea in theory, but as other have pointed out, not often in practice.
I think PS should embrace games that allow active involvement in beta, like a big majority of smaller Steam games do. It's free marketing, it creates a financial buffer and it shows the level of interest the community has in an idea.
The paying part would need reworked though..... and as it's Sony, it's a pipe dream
@REALAIS Exactly I've visited both Blizzard and Bethesda, MS stores plenty of times, but don't recall EVER hearing about the PS Gear store, can't recall ever seeing links on PS Direct either
As a Classical music nerd this isn't terribly surprising. It's always so painful/ sad when we go to the symphony, people my age are so rare to see. My daughter was concert master for school and youth symphony for several years and every year the numbers shrank ,associated social media grew. Thank goodness I didn't major in Classical Guitar performance...... that's a whole other rant
Absolutely brilliant game! The Arthurian lore is such a refreshing change, it's also done very well. Side note, I got this on SteamDeck because it ran like ass on PS5, but this was back in June, hopefully this patch really helps performance
This sounds like it would be fantastic on the Portal while having the weekend sports on in the background, doesn't help it's sitting at the top of my wishlist either
@MrHabushi Absolutely will not I'll continue to defer spelling and punctuation to my phone when engaging in gibberish diatribe thank you very much! I'm most certainly not pressing extra buttons to add an apostrophe, completely absurd!
Obviously this is just a gaming nerd hang out spot, and not a therapy / counseling session, but I'm going to throw out some unwanted recommendations;
It would be worth writing out the reasons why you feel you can't take enjoyment from playing a game without doing all of it to completion. I would like you to also write an argument to why/ how this might impact continued enjoyment when you set conditions for enjoyment you can't control.
Bring these to our next sppt so we can discuss them
The clerical staff will set up payment plans on your way out
I sunk 300 hours into my 1st run on Xbox, despite all the jank. The ambiance is on another level. Going to double dip for the 1st time ever on a modern game, can't wait!
@UltimateOtaku91 Huh.......I don't visit NL as often as the other places so I guess I never noticed. Interesting conditions he sets for games too. Be honest, I don't get it
I'm glad some people have faith in Sony to do better, I simply don't anymore. Feels like it will be the bare minimum forever. If i open the console fronts for Steam( almost perfect) and Xbox, with PS kart it really shows how creaky their backend is
@MrHabushi I'll have you know that the phones spell check said it was a perfectly okay spelling of though, and my punctuation was perfectly fine. Once again proving that the English that originally moved here 400 years ago were apparently the only ones who spoke English properly.
American High School sports eh, I mean... you're close. It does happen to say " College" right there in the title.
S'okay tho, you folks get lots of things wrong consistently; color, soccer, how to pronounce aluminum, cricket( pretty sure nobody likes that game, you've just put up with it)- consistency is a good thing after all
@ShadowRJ Love the optimism, but it is Nintendo... Daughter has refused to upgrade to a Switch 2 until we have a full picture of they handle this a year from now. That and she has ZERO% faith in Gamefreak to not release dog *****

Re: PS5 Players Ponder Avowed Port as Xbox RPG Delays Its 'Biggest Update Yet'
I played it for about 12 hours on Gamepass, it's remarkably sterile and wayt way to safe.
It does look nice
Absolutely NOT worth 70
The magic was really fun though, it just got repetitive
Re: Going Platinum #1: Rocket League
Lvl 304, 3334 trophies and not a single platinum
Still looking forward to the articles, enjoy reading people's passion for gaming
I do have a lot of games with 89-96% trophy complete, but I've never felt compelled to get those last few

Re: 75+ PS5, PS4 Games to Buy in PS Store's Black Friday Sale (North America/Europe)
@JohnKarnes
I'd love that, PS DIRECT is decent enough, but a much bigger game collection would fantastic
Re: A Technical Mess without It, STALKER 2's Day 1 PS5 Patch Is Critical
Wow, apparently the PS5 port team is based out of Kiev, not with GSC in Prague
I pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, have not done that in years
I had to, this is almost my dream game. Give it a chance
Re: Top-Notch Metroidvania F.I.S.T. Gets a PS5 Prequel in Zoopunk

Perfect place for sulking zombies!
They can just film Czech everyday citizens for zombies
Then use all the blasted drunk British for screaming hordes of directionless clueless crowds
Brilliantly thought out!

Re: Halo PS5 Is Great, But Why Doesn't It Have Competitive Multiplayer?
Outside of the novelty factor, why would anyone buy it?
Halo Infinite is as modern as Halo gets, and it felt reeeaaalllyyy outdated, was majorly disappointed
MCC runs great, even on the Deck.
I guess this seems like an odd entry point for Playstation....
Re: PS Portal Still a Huge Success as Sony Reportedly Preps PS6 Handheld
@Dogbreath The Portal is NOT poorly implemented..... that's nonsense.
You prefer streaming PC games to natively playing on your PC.....huh?
The days of enclosed hardware for handhelds are numbered....ok Lord Gabens illegitimate cat, whatever you say🤔
Re: STALKER 2 Shows Off Its PS5 Version in New Gameplay Trailer
I cant wait to play this again, especially with extra Sony perks.
Played it on Xbox at release, it was...a little ruff and still clicked 300 hours
Beyond excited to play again!
