Crimson Moon, a cool-looking, gothic-styled action RPG that was announced for PS5 during February's State of Play broadcast, has finally locked in its release date.
Previously, the title was down for a vague 'September' launch, but now it's fully committed to the 1st September. It'll be here before you know it.
Developer ProbablyMonsters is also eager to let everyone know that the game only costs $19.99, because the price tag's one of the first things that the above trailer shows.
Although there is a Deluxe Edition priced at $29.99. It gives you access to an eventual "post-launch content expansion", along with some cosmetic DLC.

The official press release reads: "In Crimson Moon, you embody the form of a Nephilim. A violent half-human, half-angel hybrid forged to defend humanity from hell using supernatural powers, weapons, and melee combat abilities."
"Over the course of savage, replayable runs you’ll slay your way through an ever-evolving horde of demons, undead, vampires, and Hellgrowth abominations in visceral souls-inspired melee combat, culminating in brutal boss encounters with the fabled Dead Gods."
You can play the whole thing solo or you can team up with a friend via online co-op. The gameplay I've seen up until now has looked pretty promising, so I think Crimson Moon could end up being a bit of a hit with action aficionados.
That's if it has any room to breathe in September, of course. It releases just two days before The Blood of Dawnwalker, and three days before Onimusha: Way of the Sword — both of which are also action games with weapon-based combat.
