@JB_Whiting Just a guess, perhaps that's why the perspective change is in the pause menu, because the game also changes how the character moves around? Or it could just be all the other buttons are used for other things but that would be cool if I'm right.
@captainsandman I like the Katamari games but hadn't bought this one yet, I have the last one. Had one of them on ps2 back in the day, had a lovely instruction manual!
@MickOnYourFace The PS2 version is all I knew as a teen and I loved it. I actually like that the levels are smaller in scale as the pc version has big open spaces with not a lot in them.
I only paid £5 more in the sale for 12 months of premium so that £5 extra for the whole year alone is worth it for Deus Ex 😁 but only one classic game for the month is inexcusable.
Pleased to see Push Square feature these, and although I am not a fan of those outer boxes - they don't look like games - I could potentially see myself buying one of these if it's a game I really like.
I like point and click adventure games but I don't own a Switch. I think it's an Adventure Game Studio made game so only one publisher seems to know ir want to port to PS5 and Xbox and they don't seem interested in doing that anymore due to localisation costs with the amount of dialogue involved and the sales of that genre doesn't perform well enough.
I noticed a drug dealing game that for a moment I thought it was the PC drug dealing game but it really isn't. Then I saw it again a week later in the new releases with a different title..
Whoever scored it 1 or 2 out of 10 - did Witcher 3 sleep with your significant other or something, it's objectively not that bad whatsoever, that kind of score would be for something that is basically unplayable.
I really enjoyed playing as Kate Walker in this game, back on the old Xbox. I never forgot Kate Walker because everyone was sure to say Kate Walker's name to Kate Walker.
The main menu and in game UI feels poorly implemented. The main character's huge arms/hands made me laugh. The combat is okay, the voice acting isn't great. I don't care for Souls games so this isn't for me.
The cutscenes felt off like I was missing scenes. Especially at the beginning with these two characters thrown in like they're supposed to mean something to us?
@Dalamar I don't know much about PC specs these days but my PC is from 2021 and hasn't received any upgrades and Doom Dark Ages was easily a solid 60fps for me, so I don't know what people are on about unless they're expecting a ten year old computer to play a new game?
I am waiting for the physical release of that power rangers game, not a PR fan but me and the missus enjoy most of the recent side scrolling beat em up games. That's three games already out digitally I'm waiting for physically! Others being Soul Reaver and Broken Sword.
@Spedfrom Everafter Falls shows 110 hours played by Sony but the save file says about half that. There were a few times the game save corrupted and it reverts to the previous save (wtf) but that doesn't account for that, it would be an extra hour at the most. I don't leave games running in rest mode. It's baffling.
@Falksi Call it overrated by all means, you're entitled to your opinion, but why does it enrage you so much that you have to resort to insulting anyone that loves the game? That's just pathetic.
7/10, although I only got as far as halfway through maybe the Vatican part of the game, but will return to it eventually. But I wasn't thrilled by the stealth or missions like "take some photos of old murials".
Curious to know why on my standard PS5 equivalent PC it recommended i play on low graphical settings which made me feel like i have a massively outdated PC now but medium settings feels like 50-60fps anyway so why on earth did it say low for! Ultra is painful though haha, just about playable but hurts the eyes.
I was going to play Expedition 33 on Gamepass until Oblivion shadow dropped and I do wish I could clone myself and play both but the excitement of an oblivion remastering meant that game comes first for me.
I agree that it was cruel to do that to the new ip.
@PloverNutter What you perhaps haven't realised is, even though it's in a new engine, the original code is still there, the old meshes for the characters are the same. The AI is showing its age. It feels like an old game but looks new. And of course the original voice acting is present. So they basically took the old game, gave it a facelift and made a lot of improvements. It's like a super remaster.
@Hylian-Likely I would say it's good, now, is all, as it's pretty old and it's showing in more than just it's graphics.
I was amused really that you were appalled by this news when you clearly enjoy the old game anyway so just play that one?
It's great for you if you still think Morrowind is great but I prefer combat where i don't start the game and have to hit and miss a crab for ten minutes before I could even think about hitting a humanoid opponent. That was laughable on the og xbox and it's laughable now.
@RBMango I appreciate it when a game with a re-recorded score has a setting that lets you choose the new music or the old one, so they could hopefully do this if they did recreate it.
I played some Indy on gamepass, will go back to it but wanted to play other games like Avowed. The 3rd person sections do make it feel like a slog, if they really need to do that, then do it for hiding behind cover like in the deus ex games.
I realised the game was more fun when I ditched stealth, put it on easy and treated it like a combat game. And this is coming from someone who plays deus ex and dishonored games, and Thief.
Still on Avowed, played for about 8 hours, still in the first map area! Really loving this game, and the dialogue and party take me back to Kotor and Jade Empire times.
@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare When it comes to not having plus, I read that whether I do or not because i want to know what is being included and whether I'll resubscribe so that's a bit different.
I don't see the issue with games being remade/remastered, if you don't want it, don't buy it!
The only thing that was good for me with Eyetoy was using it hooked up to a VCR and recording to tape a crappy music video with my song played through the audio. It ended up on PSM2 UK's DVD, which made me absolutely thrilled as you can imagine, seeing my name on the back of the DVD case and in the magazine.
I would have thought a safer bet would be to pitch a remake of the original game. That way you'd grab the cyberpunk lovers and the nostalgic for the old game lovers more so than another random Deus Ex game.
@Dudeitsme Certainly, I only keep maybe 5% of the games I buy, most games I don't tend to replay them, so I sell them on and get some of my money back or trade for credit at Cex.
@gjronin They didn't mean ALL retro Playstation games, they mean the actual games released that are emulated and included in PS Premium, not the streaming only titles. Those titles haven't been ported yet afaik.
I do very much get fed up of people online stating discs have no data on them and you're just using it as an unlock to download a game. Why are so many people thinking that's the truth?
I've seen it here, and I've seen it elsewhere a LOT like on Facebook.
Happy for the Devs, even if I couldn't get into it. Ran around for 3 hours clueless and nothing interesting happening. Even with objectives turned on which didn't actually help all that much.
@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I will put some things in there to check properly when it goes on sale and if i don't think I'll like it, then I remove it. But there are many titles that need to be a certain price before I buy them even if im confident I'll enjoy them. There's just so many games to play in general that I don't mind waiting.
@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare Well yeah like someone said, going through the sales takes a long ass time, if i wishlist everything that looks interesting it's still going to take me a fraction of the time if im not spending 1 or 2 hours every fortnight looking through the entire sales. Even with under 99p titles filtered out it takes ages. I don't see how 100 titles of interest is worse than 1000+ titles to look through.
@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I thought your original comment about bad memory was a bit rude but at least you're willing to admit to a good reason for having a large wishlist. It's why I have around 30 games wishlisted. But im also not going to remember to look up a random indie title that looks interesting when it goes on sale.
Wow, my 5 year old game Detective Boiled-Hard on steam is on 863 wishlists, how cheap do they want it go exactly 😭
@amatmulisha I don't know what you meant by a remake of curse of monkey island, it's just the first 2 games that got remakes of sorts. My favourite is a tie between the first 3 to be honest, I love them all ha

@Majin_Deicide I was going to say the same thing, it's highly unlikely but a 16bit castlevania aesthetic but god of war themed would be awesome.
Re: Finally, a Line of Physical PS5 Games Where the Packaging Is Beautiful and the Full Experience Is Actually on the Disc
@Fallingshadow Maybe a day one edition and later down the line what you described, otherwise we will find ourselves with even fewer physical releases.

Still, they could have improved the game, it's missed its deadline anyway..

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on PS5?
Played it on Gamepass, via my PC, for a few hours.
Will go back to it but didn't like the stealth in it, so lowered it to easy and played it like a punch em up. More fun then.

@Kenshir0 That's valid, especially if you have a levelled up character I assume you can just travel to the Oblivion map and use that character there?
Re: Talking Point: What Do We Actually Want from the Oblivion Remake?
I feel sorry for the folks who spent YEARS putting Oblivion into the Skyrim as a mod and maybe were nearly done making it?
In any case, I tend to agree with a lot of people here
