Re: Opinion: The Euphoric Reaction to PS6's Rumoured Delay Really Confuses Me

@MB81 sounds like your issue then? If you aren't worried about graphics and performance why are you worried that you will buy a console that's half cycle in?

Get what you can get and stop worrying about chasing the trends, meanwhile for people that can chip that extra hundred bucks to cover the ram prices I see no reason to delay the hardware. I have no reason to chip extra hundred dollars on ram too to enjoy the best in the market.

@Andy22385 yeah, PS4 was horrible off the bat, especially with the CPU being so bad they literally had to overclock and unlock two additional cores for games in the first year of a release. It was lagging UI, choppy gameplay and majority games were forced at 30 FPS and it wasn't even good at it too. PS4 pro on the other hand was what original PS4 was suppose to be from the beginning. PS5 was great, but I have no remorse switching to PS5 pro once the ps5 started struggling.

Ps6 delay is going to be costing them big, just release the console as it is and adapt prices to the market conditions..maybe we will see console prices dropping with age like it should be..

Re: Opinion: The Euphoric Reaction to PS6's Rumoured Delay Really Confuses Me

Delaying console will make it to be last gen release once it will get to see the daylight..at that point the pc will be so many lightyears away in the hardware term, that you can probably build 2 times more powerful machine with the same price, taken that ram prices and other costs will normalize before then.

Imagine releasing a new hardware that's already 5 years out of date.

Re: You'll Want to Play Crimson Desert on PS5 Pro for Dedicated Enhancements

Bamila

@KingElites they usually mention graphic modes and targeted frame rates. But this game was always build for the PC first. All the breakthrough tech they have shown with physics, dynamics and graphics almost 100% going to be PC high end exclusivity, so the marketed game you see right now is falsely making it look like that's what the casual user base gets. I feel like it's going to be cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 all over again. Best case scenario, The Witcher 3 on PS4.

Re: Xbox's Obsidian Seemingly Kills The Outer Worlds, Third Game Not Planned

Bamila

I played the first one and completed it 100%, but only because it was free with ps+. That said, I enjoyed it, even tho the opening hour or so was very stale and I almost put it aside, mainly because the terrible first person implementation and no FOV adjustment, which was then somewhat solved with ps5 version which I tried again and it made great difference so I could actually enjoy the game.

I will probably play the second game when it will be given for free as well.

Other than that, I want more fallout.

Re: Ubisoft May Have Put Watch Dogs Down for Good

Bamila

The last watch dog was a literal dog *****. I somewhat enjoyed the first watch dogs because it Brought a fresh take on open world, the second was superb imo, minus some quirky game physics. The last attempt was dreadful to play purely because how boring UK setting is and also because how safe it was.

Re: Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Remake Reportedly Delayed by Up to a Year

Bamila

I don't feel bad for both of it, ac black flag may be one of the greatest franchise's games, but I recently replayed the original ps4 "remaster" and it doesn't feel like it aged very bad because majority of the game happens on the sea which still has pretty neat water simulation.

The prince of Persia, at least from the gameplay that was leaked last year looked like a total ass imo, so no remorse there.

Re: Prince of Persia Remake and 5 Other Games Cancelled by Ubisoft

Bamila

@SuperSilverback no it wasn't, prince of persia remake would have been still an old game with old mindset stuck in time.

The gamers of nowadays don't care much of the old games anymore. People who used to play prince of Persia games are now mid 30s and are busy with careers and families.

Edit. If you follow steam charts you can notice that nowadays the biggest money drawers and popular games are the coop experiences with friends.

Gamers nowadays seek for a communication thrills and collective fun rather than shallow stories with arcade gameplay, which would have been a remake of an old game.

Story games should still be a bit part of gaming tho, but adult gamers are now a minority

Re: Prince of Persia Remake and 5 Other Games Cancelled by Ubisoft

I feel like they doing the right thing tho. When something doesn't work out, you go to the whiteboard and wipe the parts that doesn't work while drawing solutions. Clearly the way they have operated wasn't working for the company and for the games they have been making in the last 4-5 years. I would even call it shovelware.

The old games support was the only good thing I could think of this company. Many people will loose the job, but if it helps to get a brighter future without fully losing the game and going bankrupt then it needs to be done.

They have like 10s of thousands of employees, some percentage will lose their job, but it means others can have it saved..if company busts tho, all of them will flood the job seekers.

Re: Hardware Review: Sony INZONE H9 II - The Perfect Gaming Headset?

Bamila

After the last premium Sony headset for playstation that I bought, which was ps platinum headphones, I don't think I will ever going to be buying anything music related from Sony. The cups for ear disintegrated on its own just by mostly being in a box for couple of years. 160 euros wasted, plus it was extremely heavy, made ears sweat like crazy. Meanwhile my beach turtle Xbox 360 headphones still going strong and serving me a purpose 15 years later, although the cups too started to disintegrate. But the lifespan difference and price value is major. Trash from Sony
