Re: Fallout 4 PS5 Version Out 25th April with New Modes and Content

Bamila

I just spent like 75hours finishing the spaces edition outer worlds, completely finishing all quests. Will surely give it a go since it's been around 8 years since I played fallout 4 and have been waiting for this update for 2 years.

Also, I have all the dlcs that never played and such, plus never finished the main game too after spending over 120hrs, so lots to look forward.

Re: Talking Point: How Do You Feel About the PS5 Pro?

Bamila

It's automatic day one, ps5 already showing age with certain games. Especially when put next to PC. However I need to know what's the story with CPU, because if it won't allow higher, more stable frame rates over ps5 I feel like it will lose its appeal

Re: Devs Allegedly Pondering the Point of Sony's PS5 Pro Upgrade

Bamila

Devs only feel so because they are still making crossgen games with a console that's been 10 years old. Now let's look at this gen only games and picture is quite different , isn't? Many new especially UE5 games are CPU throttled and games like Dogma 2, Alan wake 2 have areas where frame rates can drop to low 20 or even worse.

There are countless games that already push max out of PS5, so if you are indie developer that publishes their games for crossgen it's no wonder ps5 pro isn't needed, because you still plan those games for a consoles that's over 10 years now.

How is this different from the matrix UE5 demo with AI speech prompt that's been shown 6 months ago by many youtubers?

The real time interactions with NPCs that all have their own mind and thinking and able to answer you in real time with almost no delay. They also remember the conversation so they don't duplicate themselves or forget what the talk is about.

Re: PS5 Pro's Proprietary DLSS-Esque Upscaler Sounds Superb

Bamila

I'm really hyped for it but at the same time I have huge concerns over the CPU upgrade. It's really questionable.

For now it seems like they aim at higher resolution and better GPU ray tracing rather than improving frame rates and some of the games have really low frame rates.

Even PS4 pro had 30% extra on the top, which added like 5-7 frames to help lock the 30fps cap or in some cases even push for 60fps with lower res, and in many ways it was game changer from PS4, which struggled with steady FPS a lot.

This gen however the focus shifted to 60fps and honestly speaking I don't even want to look at games that play at 30 FPS anymore. 10% is not enough and won't do the same impact of what PS4 pro did. You will get extra 2 frames on games that can't reach steady 30 and or 4-5 frames on games that can't make it to lined 60... I mean, they really should check into it.

I'm playing the outer world spacers edition rn on performance mode and it struggles with 60 FPS a lot, sometimes dropping to even low 30 on specific angles and places with VRR on...

Really concerned right now, for what otherwise would be a day one buy for me.

Re: Helldivers 2 Is Still Absolutely Killing It on PC, By the Way

Bamila

After 100 hours game do get slightly stale, because you have everything unlocked and even the resources and other currency has caps , so playing through eventually ends up paying you nothing, since max level 50, resources too are capped. You only get medals and super credits if you find them.

Which is I guess the main thing anyways.

The mechs and random weather effects and hazards did feel refreshing but I feel like there should be maybe more ways to spend your resources and such.

Great game overall.

Re: Helldivers 2 Sales Are Actually Increasing, Again

Bamila

I feel like they did the good thing hiring more people post launch to accelerate the free content making. It is missing lots of content from the first game and by around 100hrs game mark you usually have everything unlocked already except some season pass stuff.

It's lovely game still imo. Really can't wait for the illuminate race to join in the fight and some of the guns need tweaking to make them more useful.

Also game is still bugging, we keep facing off the issue where shuffle leaves everyone behind as soon as the first player enters it, meaning we lose samples.

I would give it 8.5/10, mainly because it is still missing lots of content from the first game. But good thing is that all of it will be added in eventually as we seen from leaked footage and pictures.

Re: Xbox Fans Petitioning for Helldivers 2 to Launch on Xbox

Bamila

It's a live service game. It would make all sense for them to bring them to more broad audience and money in. Better for Devs or worse, because servers issues but also because it would bring cash flow for the future dlcs. I hope Sony will buy arrowhead before they sell out themselves to epic and they will ruin it to the ground like every other game they did that isn't Fortnite.
