Re: Here's Why Starfield Will Be Best on PS5 When It Finally Releases Next Week

@DNortonX Why do you keep making new comments instead of just editing one? You don't need to make a new comment for everyone that you're saying the same thing to. You can tag multiple in one comment. It’s embarrassing.

I've played it. Plenty. And imo it's a turd. Try coping with the fact that not everyone enjoys the same things as you because... you know... it's embarrassing that you think that way. Some of us played it and we feel it's a turd. And you enjoyed it. So what? What's your issue?

Re: Uncharted Fans Think a Social Post Is Evidence of New PS5 Entry

@GirlVersusGame A 'bad' game that I enjoyed was Dragon Age Veilguard. One of the most heavily bashed games of recent times. Most of the people I know that actually played it really enjoyed it despite minor flaws. AAA GotY material? No, but every game doesn't have to be that and it wasn't by ANY means the complete *****-fest it was painted out to be by the review bombers. Imo the majority of people that bashed it to hell and back never actually played a minute of it.

Re: 50% Off All PS Store Purchases with New Cash App Offer

Almost_Ghostly

STUPID!!! I already had it linked and had zero idea about this offer. I purchased a $12 game on PSN and saw that I only paid half after the Cash App notification of my purchase came up. I saved a whopping $6 effing dollars. Tried signing up with a different Cash App account and the offer was listed, at least temorarily, so I tried another purchase for Pragmata pre-order and it didn't give me the 50% off. Looked in Cash App again and the offer was no longer there on the new account. Oh well I guess. Saving $50 would have been really nice, but it's also not the end of the world.

Re: It's Official: Sony Spins Off Iconic Television Business

@1970sGamer Is that why rtings scored the TCL QM8K only 0.3 points behind the A95L? Yes, TCL sells some garbage low end tvs. That doesn't mean all of their tvs are low end garbage. The same goes for Sony. They also make low end garbage models. And Samsung, and LG, etc. I have a 75" QM8K and it's amazing. I guess your tv must completely blow it away though, what with that whopping 0.3 pt overall review score difference and all. LOL!

Re: These 6+ New PS5, PS4 Games Are Coming Out This Week (30th-5th April)

@StrifeInMidgar Uhhhh. Just. No. I made a simple lighthearted opinion. YOU'RE the one that came in with "What a cringe comment....won't even bother responding with a worthy retort." YOU'RE the one coming in with unnecessary comments clearly there to invoke toxic discourse. That was YOU, not me. Your weak gaslighting attempts won't work on me. P.S. Imo Starfailed sucks. Cope.

Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?

Almost_Ghostly

@GeminiX53 That's why I clarified "new" pc in an earlier comment. I've built several PC's but the one I have now is pretty old. (i5-2500k and a GTX 1060) Would love to go the PC gaming route but it's far over my budget for what I would want. I don't personally see a point in me building a new PC that performs at the same level or slightly better than my PS5 Pro. If I build a new PC I'd want one that hands down annihilates the PS5 Pro.

Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?

Almost_Ghostly

@GeminiX53 I admit that I didn't use the best of working at all in that quote. I was referring to a PC that was right around the same price range, give or take, as a PS5/Pro. A person can spend a few hundred more and still have a PC that will perform worse in gaming than the console. Yes, if you spend a LOT more, like $1k+, it will certainly surpass the consoles.

Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?

Almost_Ghostly

@D6rkLordS6t6n The argument was that after the price increase, it's better to go with a PC. You're moving goal posts by saying "but but but... it's good enough to play small indie games....". An $800-$900 PC barely qualifies as a gaming PC anymore. At that price point to build a new PC, a PS5 Pro will outperform it in gaming.

Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?

Almost_Ghostly

@GeminiX53 LOL! You're the one being absurd. You can NOT build a new PC that destroys a PS5, for the same price as a PS5. Period. It's been tried and demonstrated by many, including LTT that tried with both base PS5 and the Pro. If you want to spend considerably more. Like $1k+ more, sure. But you'll never be able to prove to me that you can build a new PC today, for the same price as a PS5/Pro, and have it demolish the consoles. But go on, do prove me wrong if you're capable.

Re: Feature: PS5 Price - Why Does It Cost So Much in 2026?

@Silenos You misunderstood my point. I very much disagree that it's Sonys fault, and there are plenty of reasons that indicate your other comments here are wrong. People acting like nothing else has had a price increase. As I said, poll results show that most people, including yourself, are very out of touch with the reality of why.
