@Juanalf The majority of haters never played Veilguard & just jumped straight on the hatewagon. Because for those kind of people it was the cool thing to do and the game of the moment to blindly hate on.
I actually played it. Was it one of my all time favorites? Nope. Was is the flat out atrocity so many people claimed it to be? Again, nope. While it wasn't the greatest game I also had enough fun playing it that I never felt I was wasting my time. I also never felt I wasted my $$$ paying full price for it.
In what world is $400 "virtually giving it away"? Anyway, $150 is a great price drop but I'll wait for an even lower price during Black Friday/Cyber Monday before grabbing one. Didn't answer the poll because none of the choices fit that scenario.
Just bought Veilguard not all that long ago for full price, but the entire "Game arrives for PS+ after I bought it" thing happens to us all at one point or another. Despite the hatewagon, I enjoyed it a lot.
@Lindy01 LOL! Strike 4. PC shipments were not even what was being discussed. Now you're in bad faith flat out moving your goal posts and creating straw men, so I won't even be replying to any more of your silly comments.
@Lindy01 Linux is 100% relevant for comparison sake. Windows not growing is also nonsense. Simple Google search proves you wrong. Three strikes. You're out.
@Lindy01 "Windows on life support" 😂😂😂😂😂 Yeah, sure. And I've been hearing how Linux is going to take over desktop pc's since the early 90's. macOS at 14% share rate & Linux at 4.1%. Meanwhile, Windows at 73%.
@Flaming_Kaiser Which imaginary copilot fiasco are you referring to? The one where you can opt out of using copilot? LOL! And there are literally statistics out there to prove you wrong about how many people use Widows vs any other OS and how many people use Win11 vs any other version of Windows. Windows crushes all other OS's in terms of number of users for desktop pcs and laptops. And for those, Win11 has the second highest number of users.
Too bad they wont add Dolby Vision support for 4K Blu-rays, because Sony wants you to spend another $500 on one of their dedicated player for that. So dumb that Series X doesn't have that support either, yet already have the DV licensing for games.
The same way you delete them. Top of Steam > Help > Steam Support > Games, Software, Etc. > Search for Deleted Game. Except this time choose "It's not in my library" then "Restore the previously deleted package to my account".
@Rabid_Gamer Uh. What? No. You do not have to re-buy a "permanently" deleted game from Steam. That is not true whatsoever. You can restore them for free at any time.
@CAKESPECTRE999 You act like PS6 is coming this year. If you're going to use your PS5 for a few more years, that's about the time PS6 will be coming out anyway. lol
I had to delete it. Temptation to spend $$$ I don't have to MAYBE get the items I want was too high. I spent I think $30 and pretty much ended up with nothing. That was enough. How much money are people spending to get everything available?
@Rabid_Gamer LOL! Steam only deletes them from displaying in your library. They are not permanently deleted from your account and can be restored to your library.
@OmegaStriver Common sense? It's not even something that is actually happening. MS are NOT publishing more games on PS5 than Sony is. I can't understand why people blindly believe this nonsense. You can easily find the number of PS5 games available that were published by Sony, and that list is significantly larger than the number of MS published titles on PS5.
@Dan12836666 As a subscriber of both services, I respectfully disagree. Once I play one of those "Day 1" releases, there's nothing left but old games and shovelware until the next "Day 1" release. At 53 years old I have an extensive backlog of games to play dating back to the NES so a game being old has no bearing on me whatsoever. And I gather it doesn't matter to the majority either or we wouldn't hear people talk so much about backwards compatibility whenever a new console comes out. That said, for me personally, once those "Day 1" games have been played, PS Plus offers me a VERY large and significant amount of games to play in my backlog compared to Game Pass. As you stated, just opinions. Cheers.
Somerville is a great game if you like stuff similar to Inside and Limbo. Not quite as good as those two... but imo was leaps and bounds better than the snooze-fest that was Planet of Lana. Coincidently, most places gave boring Planet of Lethargy a significantly higher rating than the superior Somerville.
@Dan12836666 Complete nonsense. GamePass is littered with shovelware. Meanwhile, PS Plus has a larger catalog of games and also has a quite large amount of PS exclusives not available on Xbox.
"Xbox Publishing More Games on PS5 Than Sony" is not something that is even actually happening.
Some current and upcoming PS5 titles published by Sony:
Demon's Souls Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in Japan) Sackboy: A Big Adventure Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Astro's Playroom Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered Destruction AllStars Final Fantasy VII Remake (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in Indonesia) The Nioh Collection (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment outside Japan) MLB The Show 21 Returnal Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut Death Stranding Director's Cut Call of Duty: Vanguard (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in Japan) Nioh Remastered (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment outside Japan) Nioh 2 Remastered (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment outside Japan) Ghost of Tsushima: Legends God of War Ragnarök Gran Turismo 7 Horizon Forbidden West MLB The Show 22 The Last of Us Part I Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection Final Fantasy XVI (Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment in Asia excluding Japan) Marvel's Spider-Man 2 MLB The Show 23 Firewall Ultra Horizon Call of the Mountain Astro Bot Concord Helldivers II Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered The Last of Us Part II Remastered Lego Horizon Adventures MLB The Show 24 Rise of the Ronin Stellar Blade Until Dawn My First GT Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Days Gone Remastered Ghost of Yōtei Lost Soul Aside MLB The Show 25 Saros Convallaria Fairgame$ Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Marvel's Wolverine Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake

@neillaw You're the one taking things WAY too personally and now resorting to personal attacks. P.S. The games visual style is still not photo realistic. It looks like a cartoon-y fantasy world.
@danzoEX After playing the demo/prologue I decided to pass on it. I love the boss designs, but I just felt nothing after completing it. No desire to continue playing at all. I tried DQIII HD-2D after that and couldn't even play for more than a half hour. Third time was the charm for me. Finished the Fantasian Neo Dimension demo I loved it. Was hoping it would be on sale but doesn't appear that it will be.
@lazarus11 It's $29.99 in the US right now for Early Access. Should be the same price starting tomorrow for the Holiday Sale. A very overlooked game that didn't get anywhere near the credit it deserved.
Picks from the list:
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Cronos: The New Dawn
Split Fiction
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020
Can't remember my 5th pick. It was either Little Nightmares 3, The Midnight Walk, or Hell is Us.

@Flaming_Kaiser Except you're wrong again. And again, and again, and again, and again, and.... But what you're saying is that you don't know the difference between a brands flagship model and their lower end models. Sony 55" X77L is $500. Sony 55" X95L is $2500. Both use Mediatek chips. One gets very few updates while the other receives regular updates. Can you guess which is which? No? Didn't think so. Try to keep up. Maybe if you didn't buy low end garbage, you wouldn't have to worry about updates. For the last time, it's not the chipset manufacturer that issues and dictates when or how often a device receives updates. This information is easily available to you, but you refuse to do the research because you don't want to be proven wrong. Mediatek has NOTHING to do with when a device receives updates. Period. End of story. If you wish to argue otherwise, you're just being willfully ignorant and refusing to look up the facts.
@Flaming_Kaiser Low priced Sony tvs? Sonys flagships use Mediatek. And again, the chipset doesn't dictate when a phone or any other device receives an update. Stop pushing that flat out lie. Low end tvs and low end cheap phones get less updates, but that's not because of Mediatek. There are cheapo phones and tvs that use other chips and also do not receive fast or many updates. It's the device manufacturer that does this, not whatsoever due to the chipset used.
