@Smackosynthesis But, the combat is bad to only some people. Not everyone who played that game has issues with the combat. Many people also love the game. If I skipped every movie, game, song that other people said was *****.... I'd have missed out on many things that I absolutely love. To write something off based on other peoples opinions is just an odd concept to me. Why not try it & decide on your own? You don't have to play the entire game if you dislike it. But if you go into something already having a mindset that you're not going to like it.... don't bother.

A recent example for me are the movies Sinners and Until Dawn. Sinners has received tons of praise while Until Dawn has received tons of hate. I LOVED Until Dawn and thought Sinners was a boring, average, vampire flick. The majority, popularity, or big numbers does not = good. Look at the music charts too. Are you going to say that the most popular artists with number one hits are the better option to spend time on listening to? Because it's popular and has good reviews people should take time to listen to say, a new Beyonce album, over music that got bad reviews from Beyonce fans? See my point here?

@Steelninja That is not an accurate comparison to even make. These are the "free" monthly essentials, not the monthly catalog additions. A fair comparison would be these games vs Xbox's monthly Games With Gold games... but those haven't been a thing since 2023.

@Smackosynthesis Because you should always play (or not play) a game based upon what someone else thinks of it. I loved the Alone in the Dark reboot and I don't agree with the low review scores.

Otherwise, a person usually has up to 30 days after purchasing the item to buy a warranty, depending on who the warranty is through,

Keep in mind the item itself does not need to be purchased at Amazon, Walmart, etc. it only needs to be purchased from an authorized retailer/seller. You can also get the warranty in store. At least at Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Don't know about any other locations or about anywhere outside of the US.

@Toilet_Goat I'm pretty certain they did all of that on purpose so a large amount of people can't renew for a discount.

@Darude84 The pearl controller looks great. Just make sure to wear gloves when playing or those white thumbsticks wont stay white for very long.

I also suggest everyone purchases a warranty when buying a DualSense (or any controller). It's like $10 for an additional two years past Sonys 1 yr warranty. Paying $10 is far better than paying another $80 if your controller gets stick drift within three years.

I would have purchased this if it didn't have the stupid forging mechanics that it does.

I gave it a 4. Repetitive as hell gameplay, crap soundtrack, boring level design, bland af environments. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Zzzzzzzzz. Tried it on Game Pass for a few hours and deleted it. Same old, same old. Just incredibly repetitive running, gunning, and jumping combat from one boring monotone colored area to another.

It's odd that only some on the beta fw are getting this while others using beta are not.

So it's not a remaster or remake at all. It's the same as the first remaster graphically but they upped the resolution and fps, and added a few extras like VRR, HDR, Dolby Vision, Spatial Audio & Dolby ATMOS. I'll have to pass.

I'd gladly give them my $ if they let everyone who claimed the game on PS+ have the $10 upgrade. They're losing out on sooooooooooooooo much $$$ because of that nonsense.

@trev666 Only GoW 2018, Ragnarok, and 3 are on PS+. OG 1, 2, and Ascension are not available on any tier.

Damn fugly imo. I just want Sony to make the Nova Pink DualSense available in the USA again. Makes no sense that it's still available in other regions but was limited in the US.

Day One on Game Pass is a great deal. Things like this are why I own a PS5, Series X, and Switch. Every console has it's benefits, while not one of them has them all.

Have never once seen the appeal of this series and I've tried almost every one of them. I've even had much more fun playing Veilguard than any Monster Hunter game I've ever played, including Wilds.

Never understood the love for these games. I've tried many Monster Hunter games through the years and they're all complete bore fests... imo.

I actually played it. Was it one of my all time favorites? Nope. Was is the flat out atrocity so many people claimed it to be? Again, nope. While it wasn't the greatest game I also had enough fun playing it that I never felt I was wasting my time. I also never felt I wasted my $$$ paying full price for it.

In what world is $400 "virtually giving it away"? Anyway, $150 is a great price drop but I'll wait for an even lower price during Black Friday/Cyber Monday before grabbing one. Didn't answer the poll because none of the choices fit that scenario.

Just bought Veilguard not all that long ago for full price, but the entire "Game arrives for PS+ after I bought it" thing happens to us all at one point or another. Despite the hatewagon, I enjoyed it a lot.

And there are literally statistics out there to prove you wrong about how many people use Widows vs any other OS and how many people use Win11 vs any other version of Windows. Windows crushes all other OS's in terms of number of users for desktop pcs and laptops. And for those, Win11 has the second highest number of users.
