So much for your unwaivering trust in the sites journalism. The article author was wrong and made a false statement. As I had guessed, the city and levels are not AI generated.

I personally don't think this game is really that good. Most every boss is boring and the entire thing just feels unpolished and cheap. It doesn't even look at good as people claim it looks. It's also pretty short. It should be $20 at most.

Hell yes. Loved the first one & from what I can tell this is even far better. Time to purchase.

Bunch of party poopers. I love every, single Dark Pictures game to date. This is great news and I cant wait to try it out.

I'd give this a 5. It just feels far too unpolished for my tasted. It just looks and feels lower budget. And for me the bosses were VERY underwhelming (not just slightly) except for one that was at least semi decent. It's also only 10 or so hours long. Should be $20.

I really don't believe the poll results whatsoever. Some people are flat out lying because of the anti-Sony nonsense the last 3 months. PS5 Pros are sold out all over the place and they're only $40 short of $1k after tax, depending on your location. People are also paying scalpers $1500 for one. Hell, people paid scalpers $1500+ for a BASE PS5 at launch. BS Poll is BS.

Edit: I see the PC version supports your own music and also online radio stations for use for the games car radio. That's a super nice feature.

@Rich33 I'm okay with the use of AI in this instance, otherwise a person would be hearing the same dialogue over and over and over and over and over and over in this type of game. And are you 100% positive the Free Ride mode uses AI and that the article author didn't just label procedural content generation as AI?

@Rich33 Except the article literally says "The final game's campaign mode has been created and written by humans, but AI was used for voice generation and some localization". Imo that is not "relies heavily on gen AI to make it".

@andykara2003 From what I've seen on YouTube... higher resolution, better draw distance, and 5fps more than base. Not a huge difference at all.

@themightyant There is certainly a mix of smaller, mid sized, and large games installed. Good thing i can't stand CoD.

Same people constantly bitching and crying about Sony with their "NO DISC NO BUY" tears seem to have zero issue with digital media in other cases. They don't buy physical of every album they stream on their music streaming platform of choice. They don't buy physical copies of every movie or tv show they watch on Netflix, Hulu, or wherever else. Cry cry cry about no disc and SONY EVIL, but then crickets and absolutely no problems consuming massive amounts of other digital media. LOL!

People complaining about no game are complaining for no reason. If they included the game the price of the box would just increase by the cost of the game. Buying this box and the game separately would be the same thing. The box offers people who want it the choice to buy either a physical or digital copy of the game. Digital people don't want a disc in the box and physical people don't want a code in the box. This literally gives people more choices. I'm not sure what the problem here is.

By exclusive, they mean PlayStation and Nintendo owners can just play them on a PC, right? LOL! And I personally wouldn't care if I never got to play any of these. PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or otherwise.

@ShadowRJ LOL! No. It was already incredibly small. The amount of people that even signed the petition was like one half of one percent of the PlayStation base.

@Krlozgod I'm not sure what you're not understanding. I have to pay $120 to have the game and both season passes. New buyers pay $90 for the game and both season passes. It would make sense if both passes were a year old already & I can understand an older game with previously released DLC being cheaper due to its age. But the new pass is all new content. It's not the same at all as an older game with all older DLC getting a price drop.

@Krlozgod The game being a year old is irrelevant. That fact of the matter is early adopters have to pay $30 for brand new content. New players don't have to pay that extra premium. Period. End of story. In your Star Wars example, new buyers are not receiving several brand new DLC packs. ALL of the content is old. It's not the same thing.

@Krlozgod Big difference. This is all brand new content. It's not the same as something like a game getting a GotY version a year later with all dlc for less than it was at release. In those cases all of the dlc has already been out for a long time. They're aren't adding a ***** load of brand new content to GotY editions that early adopters have to pay extra for. There is zero new content in the Star Wars Outlaws deluxe version. It's all old.

The entire "in the publishers defense" bit is incredibly stupid. It doesn't matter if they didn't know there was going to be a season 2, if it was poorly worded, or any other excuse. The point of this is that new buyers are basically getting the season 2 pass for free. Original buyers paid $89.99 for the deluxe version with the season one pass. They have to pay an addition $30 for season 2. New buyers get both seasons for $89.99. That's what this is about. People having to pay a premium for being early adopters.

@amatmulisha I'd recommend the first two, then go from there if you enjoy them. Also, the original version of the 2nd game, Crimson Butterfly. Not the newer remake of it

@amatmulisha I didn't find RE7 to be even slightly scary. None of the RE games are for me. I adore them, I just don't find them scary. Have you played any of the Fatal Frame games? Primarily the first two? For me those are a couple of the scariest I've ever played.

@Blacknun 8 to 12 hrs, and it's £34.99. It's a decent price. Many AAA games are shorter and cost more. The majority of the RE games for example are the same length, some even shorter, and launched as full priced games

Maybe play games that don't require inventory and resource management. Seems like you suck at them without using cheats/trainers.

People with the "Disappointed. I was really looking forward to this one." type comments. It's currently sitting at Very Positive on Steam, the Hellraiser social media channels seem to all be responding to it quite well, and there are reviews with people saying its great and giving it a much higher score. Don't be disappointed yet. You have to see things from other peoples points of views too, not just this one single persons opinion. The Hellraiser fans seem to love it.
