Re: 6 PS5 Games That Cut Through the Noise at Taipei Game Show

@MrPeanutbutterz "Spend some time offline", says the guy that was literally online making replies. My mother's basement? I haven't lived with my mother for 36 years. She is at stage 5/end-stage renal disease, close to death, and would absolutely love if her son came to stay with her during her final days. Her basement is incredibly large too, so it really wouldn't be a bad living situation.

Go change your diaper, child, since you keep crapping yourself over a complete strangers opinion. And you are a child, as is evident by your kindergarten level insults. Or... maybe you're a full grown man but your alcohol misuse and binge-drinking has given you Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome. Something pretty typical in Ireland so I'm not at all surprised.

@MrPeanutbutterz What part of "Imo it's weird to pray that a game lives up to your standards, but then refuse to look at all of the available info about said game that would tell you everything you needed to know about it." are you having trouble with, exactly? And "gaslightinger? LOL! Nothing left to say to you. You say you hope a game turns out well, but refuse to see how the game has turned out. Cope. Buh-bye now.

Re: Fans Hope This Mysterious PS Store Listing Points to a PS Stars Replacement

I never even insinuated that. You made that up in your own head. It doesn't matter if you were going to buy them anyway, you still had to buy them to get the "free" credit. It's not my fault you can't understand that requiring a purchase to get something in return does not equate to free. If they just added the funds to your account without any requirements... that would be free. But here you are... I spent £1500 first!!! Lmao. Would they have given you the credit had you not purchased £1500 worth of games? No, so not free. You also moved your goal posts at the end. You went from "free" to "bonus". 😂 Don't bother carrying on with this ridiculous argument.

Re: Silent Hill F, Fatal Frame 2 Remake Adding Free Crossover DLC on PS5

“This remake doesn’t simply recreate the original – it expands upon it and goes even deeper with additional side stories and new areas. And as well as the original ending, a special new ending has been added which features a newly written song, ‘Utsushie’, composed by Tsukiko Amano.”

There were 6 total endings. 3 on the original version, 1 on both the Xbox and Wii versions, and 2 more only on the Wii version. With the statement above I wonder if we're only getting 2 endings total.

Re: Despite Its Price, PS5 Pro Enjoyed a Very Respectable 2025 in USA

@nomither6 Once again, you're comparing prices from 2006 with the current economy which is a bad faith comparison from the beginning. And the PS3 "was more powerful than THE MOST powerful PC for about a good year and a half or so" HAHAHA!!! What? Are you telling me PC's at the time were playing games locked to 30fps? I'm not even going to waste more of my time with you.

Re: Anime-Infused Arcade Racer Screamer Just Looks Better and Better Ahead of PS5 Release

@MrPeanutbutterz No internet warrior at all. I'm too old for that. Everyone likes different things, has different tastes, feels one thing is better than the other, etc. I'm 54 & have been playing racers since the original sit down Night Driver arcade game in the late 70's. Haha. It's all I guess just a matter of us liking different approaches to drifting, mechanics, etc. Cheers.

@MrPeanutbutterz I'll even take back my statement of HWU being mid. I actually think it's complete trash. The games economy sucks, blind boxes, stat allocation is terrible, car handling = horrendous, lame drifting, rubber band AI, etc. etc. etc. I could list 20 things that I think make it garbage. Not saying you can't feel completely opposite, but majority of user reviews seem to side with me on HWU vs Sonic CrossWorlds. Most dislike HWU and CrossWorlds has gotten great reviews.

Re: The End of an Era: Sony Spins Off Iconic Television Business

Almost_Ghostly

Looking at all of the comments, it's very clear that most people here don't know a whole lot about tvs. They simply hear a name like Sony and think it's going to be the best tv they ever owned... they hear TCL and assume it's going to be the worst. All of that is quite uneducated. For example, comparing one of TCL's top end 2025 models to Sonys 2025 model that is in the same price range.

TCL QM8K:
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/qm8k

2025 Sony Bravia 7:
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/bravia-7-qled

The thing a lot of people don't understand is that every brand has their low, mid, and high end sets. You can't simply compare brand names, you also have to take model numbers into consideration. For another example, compare the TCL above to the following... also a 2025 Sony Bravia:

2025 Sony Bravia 2:
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/bravia-2-ii

Now, try to tell me that Bravia 2 is better than the TCL. Also, the Bravia 8 OLED is literally WORSE than the TCL and the Bravia 7 QLED. Then we have the Bravia 9, that the TCL VERY easily stands toe to toe with. As has also already been pointed out, Sony don't even make their own panels. TCL makes them.

I own the 75" TCL QM8K and it's simply amazing. Sorry some of you must have owned one of the TCL models where you can get 75" for $300 and wonder why isn't a not very good tv, and then think you should have bought the $300 Sony instead... thinking it was going to be better just because of the brand name.

Re: Obscure Racing Game Rockets in Price on the Back of PS5 Jailbreak Hopes

Almost_Ghostly

Hilarious to me that some people spent a lot of $$$ on a copy of this, thinking that it was related to the leak of the BootROM keys & that they could use this game to take advantage of it. Two completely different things and the only thing this game will do is allow jailbreak up to FW 12. If/when an exploit is found using the leaked keys, it will not rely on any specific FW as it can only be patched with a hardware revision.

Re: Mini Review: Yakuza 0 Director's Cut (PS5) - A Questionable Cash Grab of a Classic

Almost_Ghostly

I have never played a single Yakuza game and I didn't know about the controversies surrounding the DC until after the original was already de-listed. I did however, then find a cheap steam key for $5 that redeemed for the original just fine. Don't think I'll pay the $15 to upgrade as everything I've seen says it's not worth it and that the new cut scenes kinda ruin part of the game. Maybe after I've already played the original AND I can upgrade for $10 at the most. Nice thing though, is the original stays in your Steam account even if you upgrade.

Re: Cult Hit PS5 Horror Game Cronos: The New Dawn Cracks Half a Million Sales

I've been holding off on playing this and their SH2 remake. I have a PS5 Pro and they both (along with a small handful of other titles) have some bad shimmering and weird graphical glitches due to PSSR. Since Bloober & Konami don't seem to care about releasing actual Pro patches, I'm hoping that the new version of PSSR coming next year with FSR4 features will fix the issues. If not, guess I'll start playing anyway.

Re: PS5 Testing Slideshow Wallpapers for Popular Welcome Hub Feature

@StitchJones Yes, you are correct. it is three, not two as I previously stated. Still, those three made to be their smallest still allows a person to see most all of their theme. I do agree on not liking that it changes when you hover over a game. There should be a toggle like Xbox has that lets you keep your theme or show game art when moving over tiles.
