No interest in the game and not saying it's either good or bad, but saying reviews are a major disappointment followed by listing 78, 80, 7/10, 9.5/10, and 5/5 doesn't match the narrative of the article. How incredibly stupid.

Nothing out of those that I want or don't already have. Possibly Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but it's not really much of a sale on that either when it's been $5.99 pretty much every month for a year anyway.

@EfYI You mention a "budget tv" that won LCD of the year by a "reputable media outlet". Can you simply tell people the make and model of the tv and what media outlet rated it their LCD of the year? Why so secretive about it? I'm not looking for a tv, but that info might help others looking for a budget tv.

Changing the name is stupid. There's nothing wrong whatsoever with PSN/PlayStation Network. The name covers all aspects of PlayStation's online services from the store to online play.

@SystemAddict I'm not sure if anyone knows for sure yet. The new FW hasn't been pushed yet and there have been no updates to the games in question.

I saw far, far, far more complaints about PSSR for the Silent Hill 2 Remake than I ever did for f. Not sure why a lot of sites are putting the PSSR 2.0 focus on f instead.

@BecauseBecause Nah. These games aren't even good games. LRG also published the Bill & Ted's Excellent Retro Collection. That was delisted two years ago and physical copies are very easy to find and they haven't gone up at all in price. Anyone buying up physical copies will with they hadn't. Just like people now stuck with a bunch of copies of Concord they can't get rid of.

@Boomers-r-us Dunno if you're being sarcastic or not, but I couldn't care less about a single one of those garbage games being delisted.

Like I said before, these are slippery to hold and are huge scratch and fingerprint magnets. If I had to pick one, the green would be in last place because it reminds me of icky Billie Eilish too much with the black and green thing she did for a long time.

Nothing whatsoever in that list to be disappointed about.

@BloodyBlact Not sure why that comment is getting upvotes. This app isn't for the Portal so the Portals screen res doesn't matter. It's for other devices, many of which have 4K displays.

@TrollOfWar The film grain filter on the demo is only really bad when HDR is enabled in the game settings. It's more than doubled in HDR and looks like crap. SDR in the demo has less than half of the film grain HDR does. That said, it's been fixed for the full game. The film grain level is the same for both HDR & SDR & there is a toggle to completely disable the grain.

Koei Tecmo has announced on their X pages that they are adding a film grain toggle to the console versions. Now they need to acknowledge and fix the bug that makes the film grain double or more with HDR tuned on.

@skaarj217 That is not necessarily accurate. For example, there are flashbacks in 2 that take place before 1.

@PuppetMaster Uh, there is plenty of grain. When playing in SDR there is actually even a bit more grain than the original had, but playing in HDR doubles it. The excessive grain when using HDR is one of the main complaints people are making.

Review leaves out two very important details that people want to know. 1) Did they add a toggle to the console version to remove film grain? 2) Did they fix the bug where film grain becomes excessive/doubled when playing in HDR?

The film grain on both PS5 and Series X is absolutely horrendous with HDR enabled. It's not just on the PS5 version. It's significantly better with HDR disabled on both of those two consoles, but then you don't get the HDR pop for highlights. I guess in the state it's in I'll go with no HDR over the excessive grain. Hopefully they get that sorted AND add a toggle to disable it completely like the PC version. Speaking of... has anyone played the PC demo in HDR? Is the film grain also excessive on PC when using HDR vs no HDR?

Veilguard is better than this game.

I've been satisfied being on the Pro cycle of PS releases. I decided to skip base models starting with PS4 Pro. I'll not upgrade my PS5 Pro until the PS6 Pro.

This is dumb. You're paying for the extra armors, not the early access. That's just a bonus because you'll be able to buy the Digital Deluxe upgrade for $10 even after the game has released. There is no "pay extra to play early" thing gong on here.

I didn't like the first one at all. For me it was very boring and paled in comparison to Limbo, Inside, Somerville, and a few other similar games I've played.

@rustym82 Things like this are why I have both a PS5 and Series X. High on Life 2 is a day one game pass release.
