@PuppetMaster I didn't say it wasn't possible, but you know full well you went cherry picking for that P.T. reference. The two games in question here that you mentioned are still available to download in the PS3 shop if you purchased them on the same account you're logged in to.

@ShadowRJ And? Are we supposed to get them for free after being delisted? What if you had bought them physically for PS3 and the discs got scratched, broken, or stolen? Would you just get new copies for free? Or would you have to pay high eBay prices to replace them? Meanwhile... my digital copies are all still good and I don't have to re-purchase them. Pretty much every delisted game that isn't an online game that had it's servers shut down is available in one format or another. There are tons of places that have them available to download for PS3, PC, whatever... even if you can no longer purchase them through legit means.

@ShadowRJ As long as you purchased them, you can download them. You don't need to have downloaded them once before.

@viktorcode @Bizzy Keep in mind revoked/delisted are not the same thing. Delisted games can still be redownloaded and played if you purchased them. All of the delisted older Spier-man games for example, can still be downloaded if they were purchased even though they aren't listed for new purchases.

@ShadowRJ All of the Spider-man games can be re-downloaded if you purchased them digitally.

@PuppetMaster Prove that your account is the one that purchased the game or that you didn't delete the account that purchased it. Also prove that you are online and signed in to PSN, and that your PS3 is activated for game content. Prove that you didn't try to re-download it to reactivate the license. Also that your PS3's date and time are correct. Prove that your CMOS battery isn't dead. Video proof of this stuff or it's a non issue that can can be fixed on your end.

@ButteredCrumpet What? LMAO! That never happened. PS4 won gen 8 of consoles. Can't really count Switch as N released two 8th gen consoles and was released halfway through the PS4's cycle. Wii U and Xbox were both completely crushed by the PS4.

@VeldinX Not on consoles. Only on Windows, Android, iOS, Linux, and macOS. The PS4 release in the US for example is just an upscale of the PS2 version and is still censored and called Indigo Prophecy.

2026 and the US still has the censored version of Fahrenheit on consoles. Pretty lame. But not as lame as Capcom still only releasing the uncut version of the original Resident Evil to certain regions on consoles.

@Flaming_Kaiser Not locked into an account. You could still take the disc elsewhere and just pop it in. The license would just transfer to the account being used on the other Xbox and then back to your own when you brought it home and popped it in.

@Enigk I don't see that becoming a thing. If people are going to try to rush through a game asap, they would just do that before trading it in. Also, places like GameStop could just stick the disc in an Xbox they have at the store. Then the seller immediately loses access to the game. It would be tied to a GameStop account until someone purchased the used copy.

People will be scalping PS6's for $1500+ at release and people will buy them for that price. I'll bet a PS6 on it.

@BrokenByTheScream What? They announced the 2K25 server shutdown date almost a year ago now. It's been 10 months since they announced it. LOL!

Both PC and PS6 for me. PS6 for the PS exclusives and PC for all Xbox "exclusives" and all multi-platform games. Win win for me. The next Xbox console is useless for me.

@dwayne91 56K people is an incredibly minute percentage of PS5 owners. That's 0.06% on X. LOL! And the false narrative a bunch of sites are pushing that a couple hundred thousand people signed a change.org petition to keep discs = a massive number of people signed it is nothing short of hilarious. There are 93 million PS5's out there. 198K signatures is a whopping 0.21%.

Like I've said, the majority don't even care. It's just that the minority are always the loudest. I also wager that a good number of the people complaining and signing that petition will still buy a PS6.

This is something they have been doing to seemingly random PSN accounts for a looooooooong time now when trying to cancel. This is nothing more than another bait article about this entire PlayStation thing. Sammy, kid, find something else to write about. Most of us are sick of hearing about it all. Like I said, this isn't even actually news. They've offered discounts when cancelling long before now.

@For-Kier Absolutely. All of the people that cried about the Bud Light thing kept drinking Bud Light... including Kid Rock. LOL! Same thing here. The majority of "But but but!!! I will never buy another PlayStation again!!!" people are going to be right in the queue on launch day trying to score a PS6.
