Re: PS5, PC Live Service Fairgames Is a 'Super Clunky' Cross Between Fortnite and The Division

"If you remember the original trailer, it had a contemporary Robin Hood vibe to it, as squads of fashionable rogues robbed from the rich."
Except you're not fighting the billionaires but each other for the billionaires' goods. Presumably while the billionaires are sat in their panic rooms eating popcorn and watching the common people slaughter each other.

The reaction to Fairgames' reveal was somehow even more negative than the reaction to Concord's first proper look (not the burger trailer). That should tell you all you need to know. The game is doomed.

Been a big Yakuza fan since the PS2 days, and I just could not get into this entry for the life of me, despite it being the most critically-acclaimed one yet. The weak main story is one thing, but the lethargic pacing and the fact that the game is crammed with scene upon scene of characters standing around statically and having conversations that refuse to end just drove me up the wall! There's no sense of urgency to anything that happens in the game. It seems like it was made just to sap as much of the player's time as humanly possible.

I recently played through all of Infinite Wealth, and as a big Yakuza fan, I honestly thought its story was a bit rubbish. Poor pacing, endless chatter and a big plot strand involving one of the main characters that wasn't even resolved.

Re: PS5, PC Flop Concord Never Returning, Studio Closed Down

Whoever it was at Sony that caught sight of Concord and thought it looked good enough to buy the actual studio that was making it shouldn't have a job at Sony anymore. That person or those people are a massive liability to the gaming division and their judgment can't be trusted.

Re: Until Dawn (PS5) - Killer Teen Slasher Snags a Pricey New-Gen Remake

I heard that some of the dialogue has been altered to make the characters more endearing and likeable than they were in the original. Is this true? If so, that's a horrible change to make. One of the best things about Until Dawn (2015) was how downright awful and hostile to each other some of the characters were, to the point of hilarity. Smoothing over the rough edges of Emily and Mike is a cowardly thing to do.
