You may recall last year that Supermarket Simulator — the viral hit management sim — was announced for release on PS5.

It's been awfully quiet for a while now, but it's now been confirmed exactly when the game is heading to consoles.

As revealed in this new trailer, Supermarket Simulator comes to PS5 (digitally) on 12th November 2026.

A physical version, called the Fully Stocked Edition, will follow on 4th December. The Fully Stocked Edition includes the base game alongside all DLC packs that add more product lines and departments. The PS5 version will be on a disc and everything.

If you're unaware of this one, Supermarket Simulator made a pretty big splash last year on PC. Launching in early access, the game exploded in popularity well before its 1.0 launch in June 2025, and it now has over 34,000 user reviews rating it Very Positive.

It's a first-person sim game in which you build up a business from scratch, at first selling a limited pool of products to customers, and using your profits to gradually expand into a fully-fledged supermarket, with staff to manage, click & collect orders to fulfil, and stock to order.

You can tell the game was a success because there are several cheap imitators on the PS Store already. Fortunately, the real deal arrives in just a few weeks.
