The pixel art has so much character and is very faithful to the movie. This is a game I would have dreamed about in the 90's.

We have emulation on our PCs for things like this, for free, don't need a subscription service

I'm a parent with teenage children in Australia and the amount of bullying that occurs in group chats on apps like WhatsApp is quite damaging. From a perspective of a parent, the ban is needed. For those that say freedoms are being killed off, there was no freedom of social media in schools twenty years ago because it did not exist - kids weren't taking phones to school and group chats weren't occurring. This is a new phenomenon that needs to be regulated appropriately.

We need to thank Nintendo for making portables hugely popular again with the Switch, which has led to Sony considering making a portable again. This might also lead to more AA games being produced which are suited to handhelds, and more variety, more often.

This would be great if it becomes true. Being able to play games from the PS4 and PS5 library if backwards compatible would be awesome.

This article hit the nail on the head. There needs to be more AA games that take less time to make, and cater to the fans' wants. More variety, more games, less waiting. Also, let's see a new Wipeout game.

Since the Dreamcast, there have been grand plans for controllers to have in-built screens. Playstation has found the middle ground by not making a default controller with a screen, but by making it an optional accessory

Bionic Commando Re-re-armed

As someone who hasn't played the game before, I thought it was very well written. The introduction with the tv show introduced the premise well and you could relate to it having been through COVID. The scene with the dying daughter was heartbreaking and impactful. The government agency trying to quarantine the fungus reminded me of efforts made by governments during COVID. There were a few cheesy elements: the zombie people with the fungus coming out of their mouth looked a bit B-grade, and the graffiti written on the wall looked like something out of a computer game, and the hunt for the truck battery seemed like an obvious macguffin or sidequest from a game. But other than that it was entertaining.

The loss of Dirt means one less arcade racer...and we need more of them. Dirt 5 was a solid racer, with nice reflections and lighting effects. The acquisition of Codemasters was never going to result in good at the end of the day.
