In Case You Missed It, the Real Slim Shady Is Coming to Fortnite

Fortnite has transcended pop culture over the past several years, and we suppose an Eminem event seemed inevitable at some point. It’s happening as part of Chapter 4’s live finale, which will take place on 2nd December from 2PM ET. And you’ll be able to watch Eminem dressed as, er, Eminem, because there’ll be three Icon skins up for grabs.

The outfits – available a little earlier, on 29th November from 2PM ET – will include Rap Boy, Slim Shady, and Marshall Never More styles. Those who attend the in-game event will also be able to unlock The Big Bang loading screen and the Marshall Magma Style alt, which will give the rapper glowing eyes and flames.

Epic Games say the transition out of the Fortnite OG chapter – which brought back the game’s original map – will herald a “new beginning” for the popular Battle Royale, likely introducing an entirely new island.
