PGA Tour 2K23 Shows Off MyPLAYER Customisation Ahead of 14th October Tee Off

A new trailer for PGA Tour 2K23 has been released, showing off the customisation options and career pathways players can undertake when the eagerly-anticipated golfing title tees off on PS5 and PS4 on 14th October.

Prospective golfers will use MyPLAYER to create their own unique golfing avatar, allowing them to personalise their own unique playstyle and swagger both on and off the green. You can then take this character through the MyCAREER game mode, progressing through the tour and attempting to win golfing glory.

It all looks pretty great, and like an immersive way to realise those as-yet unattained golfing ambitions we still hold onto, even as youth and motivation rapidly depart our mortal shell with each passing day.

This is using the Golf Club engine, right....the players still look a bit wooden to me

I'm all for the custom golfer avatar etc but having played pga2k21 online and seeing some of the most awful creations known to man i'm a bit worried about what horrors await me next month...😰

I think I'll probably wait for EA's new golf game if they're still planning to release it.

It's gone a little quiet on that front

when are we actually going to get more realistic looking people in these sim games? Been looking very plain and similar last who knows how many years..

@djape @Dan_ozzzy189 i'll agree with you both that visually the game still looks last gen but the last entry played a sublime game of golf and the creativity it allowed you in shaping shots etc was just really very good..i actually play golf and it was very uncanny sometimes being able to actually play a shot as you would on a real course and it convey into the game with alarmingly similar results so if the game looks a bit last gen but manages to play an even better game of golf then its a win..

Fortunately I'm in no rush.

I'm currently replaying Everybody's Golf and having great fun with it.

I love the way it's easy to pick up and play without over complicating things

@Member_the_game my wife likes everybody golf and i have to admit its good fun but i'm in love with my pga2k21 and its the best golf game since links golf on the pc..
