@Savage_Joe When I'm playing the demo over and over again I'm not looking at EVE and gauking... I'm paying attention to the enemies and parry timings lol.

I really appreciate them releasing a demo for this. The more i play it the more im leaning towards getting it though not quite there just yet. Still more to play in the demo.

loved DS and exploring the world and all it had to offer though the combat for me felt a bit janky, but nonetheless I will def. grab this one.

I haven't touched my PS5 in almost a year... losing interest TBH, but this game right here might bring me back.

as a casual gamer this is right up my alley. still loving it and the grind at my own pace. enjoying the seasonal stuff thus far as well. For the HC gamers I can see why this game quickly fell off a cliff in popularity.

Love this game from a casual player perspective. These patches don't bother me.
I take it for what it is.
I knew what I was getting into and accept it as it is. Will I play the game after my necro is at level 100 and all the side stuff is done? I don't know... maybe for a bit. After that I'll move on.

I think everyone's so damn uptight about a company making changes to a game. Here's an idea... disconnect, go outside and take a walk and enjoy life and stop complaining about stupid %&^*

super excited for this and I could care less about micro transactions. just give me some content and a good story and I'm in. open beta was great and felt good on PC using my PS5 controller... that hooked me!

honestly at this point I'm not hyped about D4. I thought I would be, but maybe it's just me getting older. Debating PC or PS5 or buying it at all. My decision has nothing to do with any corporate issues with Blizzard.... I dont really care tbh. I'm just not sold yet.

It's not surprising really. Sony rules IMO. They have the best of everything. Why in gods name would you buy any other console?

got this for my PC as a free promo when i built it 3 years ago lol... this game is meh

for all those that won't buy this game... your missing out. I understand your stance, but man this game is good and I'm not a fan of HP nor do I know anything about the contraversy around J.K. and personally I'm not interested to know. I've bought this game to support the developers who spent countless hours putting this experience together. I never thought I'd like this and TBH wasn't on my radar lol until I watched a couple of TheRadBrad videos and BAM I was hooked.

Though as I continue to play i'm seeing more and more bugs in the game. speech from enemies no where to be found, but I can se them on the map and diving into a cave only to find my character swimming upward into the air over top the cave lol... still it's really good.

Happy for the developers.

@LN78 I pre-ordered ForSpoken at GameStop and was able to swap for Star Wars Jedi Survivor no problem. i guess it all depends where you pre-ordered from. i was so hyped for this but now i'm out i think.

been looking forward to this game... can't wait for this one .. will def. watch.

no game is ever a 10 imo. every game has it's share of bugs or things that can be changed to make the play experience better. although not much of a fan of HP, I picked this up and it's pretty great. a 9 for me no question. i don't play it like a HP game, but like a 3rd person spell casting wizard adventure game.

This makes alot of sense considering Hogwarts appeals to so many more players whereas Elden Ring... does not. Not a huge fan of HP, but picked up Hogwarts anyway and it's very very good.

I never played ER because of it's play style which never appealed to me and to many other I'm sure so this is no surprise.

I find it strange you can release a complete walkthrough of the game before it releases everywhere, yet reviews done by various companies like yourselves on games before they are released is protected by some embargo rules? Please explain

what's different from all these sporting games that get released every year? Are their such massive changes that make it worth playing full price for these games each year? Seems odd to me and much like a money grab. I'm not a fan of these types of games and I'm sure they are great, just not for me. Love me some baseball don't get me wrong, but are these just cash grabs or is it really worth the price of admission every year?

going to wait until they are all released and binge em. looking good and i'm glad they are getting great reviews. if any game to tv adaptation deserves it, it's this one.

@KaijuKaiser I agree with you. I'm currently playing through this and its what I expected and I love that. I wanted some great visuals, gore, jump scares and it delivers. I like taking my time and soaking in the experience. So far it's really good though a bit janky in combat, but maybe just me. If you crank up some settings to 10 I find it a better overall experience. The defaults were to slow at 5.

yup i tried the demo and ill be swapping my pre-order for star wars jedi survivor coming out in march. Sorry SE, but this was underwhelming and I got turned off by all the swearing lol. It was funny at first and the banter is a nice touch, but the cussing... man a little much. the demo just didn't grab me. heck i liked the outriders demo more than this one and it was patched as well lol....and i enjoyed that game for some dumb entertainment. o wells. I think if this game was released at a different time with more love and care it may have had a better reception. it's hard to follow in GoW's epic adventure imo.

I actually just finished this. My all time favorite came at 125+ hours. I guess Ill hang on to my copy for a bit longer to see if DLC is announced.

im still playing this game taking it all in.
110+ hours and counting on hard difficulty this game is a masterpiece and quite frankly my favorite game of all time for me personally.

this is GoTY for me no question. Nothing comes close .. not even GoT R when it comes out... this game is just a cut above for me.
