Is open world RPG Horizon Forbidden West getting DLC? The original game, Horizon Zero Dawn, received a substantial post-release offering in the form of the Frozen Wilds – and now social media sleuthing suggests Guerrilla Games’ sequel could be about to get a second shot of content.

It was noted on Instagram that Peggy Vrijens, who performed all of Aloy’s action-heavy scenes, is back in the motion capture studio. Now this could be an unrelated project, but fans also spotted earlier in her timeline that she’s been hanging out with Louis Van Beek, who also did motion capture and some voice acting for the game. Intriguing!

It’s more than enough to set tongues wagging, but we should reiterate this could all be coincidental and is not necessarily evidence of Horizon Forbidden West DLC at all. That said, the plot of the game ends on a cliffhanger and there’s still plenty for the Dutch developer to eke out of its fiction, so it wouldn’t be the wildest thing in the world if an expansion was in the pipeline.

Would you be up for revisiting the Forbidden West, or have you had enough of Aloy and friends for now? Put an arrow between a dinobot’s eyes in the comments section below.
