If you don't like the free games, don't play them? What's next? Complaining about every new music album you don't like? Complaining about every single item on the shelves of grocery stores that you personally don't want to purchase?

Nothing I am personally interested in spending time with playing, but I'm happy anyway.

@get2sammyb I expect PSVR2 in 2023. I am excited to try it, but I wouldn't get your hopes up for it to be available in 2022. I've read evidence of component orders that suggests 2023, which isn't perfect, but... I still wouldn't get hopes up for 2022.

Awesome. I've held out on Cyberpunk 2077 because the early feedback suggested it wasn't ready. If in a few weeks from now, players are having tons of fun with the PS5 version, then it will be time to invest the money + time in trying this game out.

Sony needs to keep delivering great products, content, experiences, hardware, software, and services. I'm a huge fan, I'm optimistic and excited as a customer to enjoy the awesome stuff they keep delivering, but if they fail and the PlayStation business flops that's their loss more so than our loss.

Almost everything listed is stale or games like Hearthstone are not for consoles + gamepads.

I don't care. Activision/Blizzard makes some great games, but only 1-2 PS5 games I care about. There are tons of upcoming PS5 games I'm excited about that. And honestly, even if Playstation does bite the dust, not that I see that happening, but if it does, I will just move on.

I love Overwatch, I hope I can buy+play Overwatch 2 on PS5. But if not, I'll just play other stuff. There's tons of amazing games coming out in 2022.

I hope I can enjoy Hearthstone on MacOS/Android and Overwatch 2 on PS5. But if not, it's honestly not a big deal... There is more than enough amazing content coming out to keep me happy. Elden Ring next month. Tons of content across PS5, Android, Meta Quest, PSVR2, Mac Desktop, Nintendo...

They should put tracking cameras inside the controllers too, and remove the tracking rings

It's easier to judge whether a game is worth trying after it's been released based on player feedback, rather than before it's released..

I haven't heard of the games releasing this month. But if there is a gem here, I'll wait to hear about it and try it when it grabs my attention.

@MFTWrecks Yes, Nintendo charges a higher premium than Sony and does less discounting. I feel like that's their choice. I still buy games at regular price from both Nintendo and Sony and I'm happy with it. I was happy to pay full price for Mario Kart 8, first on Wii U and then repay full price on the Switch, because the game is so good and my kids love it. But it is priced at a premium, and they don't discount after a year or two like most other vendors in the industry.

@Northern_munkey I'm happy paying $70 for amazing games that I want to play. I feel that Nintendo's prices are higher than Sony's prices and I'm happy with both. I just bought Metroid Dread for $60. I love the game, its totally worth the price, but I feel like Sony charges $70 for much bigger production titles, when the premium price is more justified.

I was a mega GTA fan twenty years ago... I loved GTA 4+5 and RDR 1+2 too, but they were more slow + serious didn't have the same magic as the GTA trilogy. I'd buy budget price to see how my old favorites hold up, but otherwise I'd rather spend money + time enjoying newer titles.

@auditor01 Yes, I dislike the whining. Just enjoy or move on. It was a tad underwhelming, but Sony's first party studios have put out awesome content in 2021 and they have awesome stuff lined up for early 2022.

I'd rather hear community votes on released favorites, than on future games that people haven't played

This post is annoying and over the top, "E3 is a relic desperately clinging to relevancy". Really? I kind of presume what I remember of the old E3 will fade way, but I'm not trying to throw E3 off a cliff and dance on it's grave. I want to see the new games and new hardware however the industry feels is the most efficient way of doing that.

I love Death Stranding, I will absolutely buy + replay on PS5, but this trailer video was dumb. The oranges and the box, these are insider jokes for long time Kojima fans.

@Icey664 People would be hyped for any new Miyazaki Soulsborne game and any new George RR Martin fantasy. Combining the two really amplifies it.

@get2sammyb review scores really detract from the enjoyment of the games.

Sony didn't lie or mislead. This definitely is not a typical generation transition. There probably will never be a "typical" console generation ever again. The poll options don't include this.

It seems really silly that people feel betrayed that GT7, Ragnarok, and the new Horizon Forbidden West games are cross-gen rather than PS5 exclusive.

I'm more offended that I can't buy a PS5 at normal retail prices. I can only buy through a scalper with a giant markup.

I'm excited about the next PSVR, but I see no new interested details or news. Foveated rendering is just an optimization, that's not an exciting feature. I'll be super excited when they show more concrete details, more of the new controllers, games in action, preview videos...

I expect the PSVR2 to fix the major flaws of PSVR1. It better have excellent controllers, tracking, resolution, refresh rate, simplicity. And it better offer bigger/deeper games than what you see on the Oculus Quest 2. The Oculus Quest 2 has a huge inherent advantage of being standalone and portable and being generally a great system, but I'm very eager to see and get PSVR2.

The multiplayer shooter genre is full of quality games. There's always room for another, but I don't see anything special in Warhawk. It thrived largely because it was one of the first PS3 games. The sequel, Starhawk, wasn't successful.

Developers are better at creating new games than news media are at coming up with ideas like this one.

Twilight Path is a 2+ year old PCVR port of a game that never generated a huge amount of excitement on PCVR.

The PSVR is old + stale hardware in 2020. Sony knows it. Devs know it. None of Sony's big studios are working on PSVR titles, and they shouldn't. When Sony does new VR hardware, that will inject life into the platform.

No questions about early games like Dream Zone or Keef The Thief? Those were the classics!

I love this game on Oculus Quest. This is the perfect game to show to a friend for five minutes.

I'm sure this plays perfectly well on PSVR; this is a standing face forward VR game. I suspect Quest is nicer just because of the higher res display and nicer controller and competent 3D graphics.

@AFCC yes. When the PS5 launches or is about to launch, my interest in PS4 only games will drop.

Keef The Thief. It's Naughty Dog's greatest IP!!! We haven't had a new Keef since the '80s!

@OscarHTX Yes, I've been playing Royal on PS4 Pro and its visibly running in higher resolution than regular Persona 5. Just like most games of the past few years run in higher res on PS4 Pro.

CPU/GPU performance measurements matter, but actual end game benchmarks benchmarks matter more. We will see actual game benchmarks closer to launch. Let's see those and then judge render performance.

I'd personally like Naughty Dog to return to their roots, and remake their classic RPG Keef the Thief.

Who is feeling frustrated and insecure about playing video games? I'm definitely not.

I play video games to deliver relaxation or inspiration. If games don't do that, then why bother? If playing video games is making you feel frustrated or insecure, then you probably should reevaluate your priorities.

As a consumer, I have no loyalty to companies like Sony. I admire them, I love their products, but if their products stop being awesome, I'll just stop using them.
