We’ve been treated to more Yakuza than we probably deserve in recent months, with the franchise enjoying something of a belated renaissance in Western territories. Overseas it’s business as usual, as SEGA readies Yakuza: Kiwami 2 for release – a full-blown remake of the second game in the series. And those of you with Japanese PSN accounts will be able to download a demo from 22nd November.
On these shores, Yakuza 6 is the next big entry in the series to be localised – and also the first to be developed specifically for the PlayStation 4. That game’s due out in March, so you’ve still got a little time to polish off Yakuza 0 and Yakuza: Kiwami before heading to the neon streets of Kamurocho once more.

Oh no ... only 4 months to squeeze in 0 and Kiwami. I’ll never get it done in time.
i just made a JPN PSN for the demo of yakuza 6,i liked it and i LOVED 0,cant wait to try kiwami 2
@oryo23 Nice!
@get2sammyb
also forgot to mention,heat moves kinda changed (like most of the combat tbh,feels familiar but is changed) now you need to tap R2 and you sort of get into a Heat Mode and in the demo i tried spamming Square and it kinda makes kiryu have some kinda ORA ORA ORA ORA move if you know what i mean lol
Hopefully at the PS Experience Sony and Sega will announce this game is heading West.
Is it hard or time consuming to do a jp PSN account? Gotta eventually get the Taiko Drum DLC anyway.
@sinalefa pretty easy from what i remember,it was almost a year ago tho so maybe i just dont remember right
@sinalefa takes me less than a minute
@Gamer83 yeah, and that Fist of the North Star game along with it.
@manu0 @oryo23
Thanks for the replies. Will look into it then.
I've genuinely lol'ed so many times playing Yakuza 0 recently. Bat. S*t. Crazy.
I still need to finish Kiwami 1. It may take a while to get here, but I plan on playing Kiwami 2 afterwards. I'll try to hunt down the rest of the series 'till then.
