I love how busy with people every shot is. Actual game footage better take this and fly with it. Can’t wait for a hustle and vibrancy we haven’t seen before in gaming.

Look, this sucks massively for anyone at Rockstar. It’s unfortunate and really crappy of whoever did it and those who took part in earlier leaks.

However, I’d equally agree that Rockstar’s practices don’t help the situation. They are one of, if not the most known gaming dev and GTA is its best know product. If you’re going to do announcements of announcements, you know what’s coming.

Get ahead of the curve and if you’ve got something to show, just show it. It’s 2023 and people are pr*cks.

It’s quite sad that it feels that we’re at the point where Rockstar are racing against the clock before some idiot leaks the entire game at this stage..

I am very excited for this week in gaming though. Game Awards is genuinely shaping up to be a good one AND a GTA trailer? Yes please.

I mean, none of this ultimately matters. Everyday gamers will lap it up and their focus won’t shift for many years (look at the FIFA years).

The majority of us lot will appreciate a game like a fine wine and be a bit more picky on our approach.

Both fans of gaming can co-exist without the ‘end of gaming’. Not really understanding people’s narrative with this; it’s fine, this ‘crap’ can do well and we’ll await some strong titles elsewhere.

COD being super popular doesn’t stop the Baldur’s Gate 3’s of the world being made.

I recently got myself a gaming laptop and was so surprised how many games and platforms don’t have PS controller embedded as default. Imagine it’ll happen eventually without the need of bespoke apps to make it happen but surprised it’s not common place yet.

So disappointed. Outside of Telltale, no one has done a decent Walking Dead game. CD Projeckt Red… where you at?

It needed five years and a complete revamp for me to even BOTHER to watch this.

They can say what they like about live service games, I won’t be buying a single one.

I’ll just sit here instead waiting for GTA 6, God of War (as long as it’s not Atreus solo campaign), Ghost of Tsushima 2 etc.

It’d be bad for gaming but it was certainly bad for TV and Film too…

I’ll be fuming if it is. It would mean a lot of features won’t be implemented unless the game has an ‘expansion map’ only useable on next gen but even then it wouldn’t be the full game utilised for next gen.

Been a long wait. I remember buying the physical release GTA bundle as a teen. Can imagine my excitement will be on par for this release.

In cases like this I always think of the Last of Us. Both of those games suffer with having a longer game but SO much filler. A lot of moments which offer little story and feel like are just there to pad the game out.

I haven’t played Spider-Man 2 yet but assuming it’s not got any padding within its main missions, I’d much rather that.

(Evidently through my Joel appreciation avatar I’m a huge Last of Us fan before the inevitable replies - I do think however they pad those games out excessively)

At this point why not buy a PC with any component you like? I am joking but not sure I like this trend of buying bits and bobs for a console much.

Started a fresh game (never fully finished the first 1.0 attempt) and rushed the initial bits to open up the DLC and now taking things much slower now I’m just about to enter Dogtown.

Love everything about this game now. I still feel the perk tree is a little chaotic to read but much better:

And what people don’t know is how many people work on the crew so you’ve got everyone watching you fail hard, you know it’s getting filmed AND you could potentially win thousands. Lot of stress which means a simple penny machine becomes an assault course 😂😂

@AverageGamer Still argue there’s a lot of filler in these games even if you’d deem it short. ‘Go here, find this character here’. Gets a little tedious.

I’ll sit out of ordering it for Day 1. The fact they’ve taken months to patch the second game has me avoiding the third for a long time until I know it’s in tip top shape.

Also, I’ve found with both games that by the end, I’m just playing them to get them done. Think they can afford to be shorter.

I am once again here to say I’ll be playing Baldur’s Gate 3 for about the next five years.

I’ll find some room to blast some impressive guns in Cyberpunk too.

Baldur’s Gate 3. It’s one of the few games in life where you give it ‘just five more minutes’ and you’ve then realised five minutes has turned into 2 hours of gameplay. Love it:

I am thoroughly enjoying this but taken my sweet time, only just took off from Emerald Grove.

Funnily enough I’ve just encountered my first bug. I couldn’t use Square for actions and then the game got worse from there; game didn’t display a battle properly, unworkable buttons. Reloaded it and it’s fine but yeah, very odd.

I did try a run where I attempted to kill Kagha which is when the issues started - my own fault!
