@BearsAndBattles True. High tech doesn't always mean it's the best though. Just look at the Switch. It's all about price and accessibility. I can connect my Quest to my PC to get quality and performance. Or I can just disconnect it and use it wirelessly where ever I want. Thats a huge deal. I don't believe PSVR will be able to do that. I think if they can they should allow it to be used on a PC too.

Has a lot of the features the Quest 2 has. Why haven't they done a proper showcase on the device itself? We just keep getting these blog posts.

Can’t wait for The Last of Us Part 1 Remastered where they add the dodge and prone mechanic from Part 2 and charge $70 for it as well.

The gameplay I watched was down right sad. It's probably just me but NG seems like its been struggling a little since Uncharted 4. Hope they can get back on track. What I've seen is no where close to $70.

This game is gonna print money on PC. It’ll only embolden Sony more as they shrink the wait time between console and PC releases.

I’m holding out for the Last of Us Part 1 remaster. It’ll probably come out around 2024.

I suspended my game of horizon last night only to find the console crashed. Lost some progress but not too much. How have they not figured this out yet? They had the entirety of last gen to get it right. Still unreliable.

If its as premium feeling as the Xbox Elite then I'm game for it. Triple the battery life, lower the latency, and give me paddles on the back.

I imagine they don't want to announce they're working on it too early. Much like the name change situation, it's probably more complicated than we think. They really shot themselves in the foot by making that Cell Processor.

@Legacy2K Phil used intentionally vague statements after the deal was announced, much like they did with the ZeniMax buy. The FTC then announces they are investigating the Activision deal and Microsoft comes out to clear the air. It's not hard to follow.

Definitely a ploy to avoid the wrath of the FTC. Micro$oft deserves zero praise for this.

I think it's time to start thinking about getting Gamepass on PlayStation. Seems inevitable if Micro$oft keeps buying everything.

I wonder why they thought this remake was necessary. I'm guessing it'll line up better with the HBO show or something.

They need to allow this to work with PC’s. Then release the exclusive PSVR games on PC a year later or something. The VR market is too niche to work on a console no one can buy.

It’s stories like these that make me believe there is zero hope for PS3 back compat. I’ll gladly eat my words but Sony just doesn’t have the engineering talent that Microsoft has.

I would love to see this game on hardcore racing sim rig. Hopefully it has some compatibility.

@Alduin That's what happens when a $3000 PC can run the games better. When the games eventually start coming day and date to PC they'll cost $70. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they start coming to PC 1 year after release with a $70 price point.

Not a fan of the look but the functionality is way better than what Sony created. Those intake vents will definitely improve cooling performance.

Not surprising. Phil gained all that good will by saying games are for everyone while at the same time doing what Sony would do. Why aren't other gaming outlets talking about the hypocrisy?

I was really hoping Sony would replace their party system with Discord. The features and voice quality are top notch. If MS does end up buying them I just hope they don’t treat it like they did Skype.

There are a lot of ppl in here oddly dying on the "Sony will go under if they sell exclusives on PC" hill. Software is the money maker for Sony. Selling that software to more ppl will allow them to continue making these awesome AAA games they are so well known for. The whole "There's no reason to buy a PS console" argument doesn't make sense when its cheaper and more convenient to just buy a console rather than build or purchase a PC. The more games Sony sells the better for us. You guys need to chill.

I’ve been holding off on playing Control in the hopes that it’ll play better on PS5. Seems like it might be the opposite. They’re really giving us the PS3 treatment. It’s probably gonna be priced at $1000.

Idk what’s so baffling about this? Obviously not all titles will be backwards compatible. They’ll probably need an update or something. Pretty disappointed honestly.
