I personally enjoy most of their bigger games - Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, etc. And I thought PoP - The Lost Crown was excellent. But to cancel a game that was originally supposed to come out like 2 years ago, and that game is a PoP remake…what the hell is going on there?? That game should be a slam dunk success. That is a case of massive mismanagement. It almost defies understanding. I am very afraid for Ubi, it is not looking good.

They can give lip service all they want. It is all about money to them. Parents need to be in charge of what their kids do online, not these corporations. And definitely not the government.

Good grief. Try starting with China and India. So tired of this propaganda. Environmental concern is just the cover for actual intentions, which is the almighty dollar. Just makes me want to go buy more physical games.

Good overall show. For me personally, Wolverine and Crimson Desert were the highlights. Very pumped for both of these.

I will play Suicide Squad now, simply because I am a DC comic guy. I refused to pay for it. Still want a proper DC centered follow up to Arkham Knight. Those games are so, so good! Happy New Year all!

I picked up the physical edition here recently and am playing it now. I am really enjoying it. It is a high quality title, and it is very sad to see it perform so poorly from a sales standpoint. I think marketing is hard to get right for a title like this. It deserves so much better. I highly recommend this if you are even remotely interested in this game.

I purchased the GOTY physical edition some years back, and it does not offer me the upgrade. I think it is reading it as the base PS Plus version, as I have deleted and reinstalled from the disc, and still nothing. I hate the way Sony handles the PS4/PS5 version of games issue. It should not be this hard.

I have the GOTY physical PS4 disc, and it is not giving me an option to upgrade for free. It seems to me it is reading my install as PS Plus version. I deleted and re-installed from disk, and still no upgrade option 😡

I love HL, such a great game in so many respects. Not perfect by any stretch, but one of my favorite games of the year! Icing on the cake that it knocked COD off the throne. I bought and gave away several copies of the game, just because 😏 Good to be a gamer right now!

Kudos to this guy and his feelings towards subscription services. I think we are doomed if games do indeed go all subscription based. But I don’t personally believe that will be the case. I think the reality will be a world where there is both.

I think it is fine for them to put this out, will be great for people who have not played it yet. I am not picking this up, I played it and got the plat when it was on PlayStation Now. Still one of the best games I have ever played, but I will wait to play again when it hits PS Plus.

Playing SM2 now, and I have a smile on my face the whole time! I can understand people disagreeing with it being no. 1, but I am absolutely great with it! So, so good! It is what video games should be! This was a year that we gamers were truly blessed, and we will continue to feast well into the future! Cheers all!

This game is great! Do not buy into the reviews! If it looks good to you, check it out! New IP, and it deserves a solid chance! It is AAA in every way. Maybe not game of the year, but the 70 meta critic score is BS. Gameplay is great, and production value is off the charts. This game deserves better!

I will try Saints Row out of pure curiosity. The other two I have no interest in. Sony is just baffling sometimes. Very down month for Essential line-up, AND you decide to announce very rough price hikes for all PS Plus tiers. It’s like they said “yes, we are going to double down on awful.” 🤷‍♂️

Got the platinum in Ghost of Tsushima DC, now playing Iki Island. This is my favorite PS 1st party game. So, so good.

Ghostwire Tokyo on PS5. I am really enjoying it, as it scratches all the itches for me. Shame I slept on it for so long.

@theheadofabroom I got the platinum in both, but could not imagine playing them back to back. Both are excellent games, but it would be too much to play one after the other. Just my humble opinion. Again, I thought both were excellent and I am looking forward to Spider-Man 2!

The 500 GB size SSD is turning out to be a joke. If you play a couple sports games like NBA 2K23 and The Show on a regular basis, those 2 games alone are pushing 250 GB combined. I guess I will break down and pick up a new SSD.

Metroid Prime Remastered and Hogwarts Legacy for me. I am a “casual” Harry Potter fan at best, and I was not sure about the game in the opening hour. But it continues to grow on me, and I have to say that it is just pure joy to play, and feels very cozy every time I sit down with it. So good! I beat Metroid Prime on the Wii a long time ago, and it still holds up as a top ten game of all time for me! Have a great weekend everyone!

Nope, my PS5 has the disc drive and that is the only way I want it or any future PlayStations. It would be a very unwise move for them to not offer a disc drive version in the future.

I really liked the TLOU2, one of the best games I have experienced. But ND is dangerously close to going back to the well too many times. They really need to do something completely new. I think Playstation overall is in need of new IPs. I know it is very risky, but they have the talent to do it. They just need to make the leap of faith.

Wasn’t Greedfall PS4 offered as a PS Plus game before the restructure? And then they eventually let you upgrade it to the PS5 version? Am I dreaming that at this point?

I didn’t know I cared until I got a PS5 and experienced it for myself. It is not a game breaker for me, but I definitely prefer all the 60fps.

I have for my PS3, and it plays splendidly! 😁
