Played this on my iPhone. Great game but am okay with the iOS version, which itself is a big upgrade over the 3DS version.

I’m even wondering if there’s much of a change from iOS to this version. Screenshots look pretty much identical.

FWIW, this is one of the lower scores. 88 on OpenCritic right now.

@UltimateOtaku91 I’d still be praising it. I have both consoles. All I praise is great games and this showcase gave that to us. If Sony did the same, I’d absolutely give them just as much credit whether they bought the studio or not.

@Weebleman Only reason I said that was because of the hate MS is getting here from studios they bought. People may not like it but it’s reality now.

@naruball I did speak of 18 and there are. I have no disillusions about that MS owns. I’m glad they have them and they had plenty homegrown games too. Either way it was an awesome showcase. Period.

Love my PlayStation too and have gotten most of their exclusives this gen. But they’re getting too quiet and want to know more of what’s coming. Awful to say that isn’t it?

I’m done arguing. I just want PlayStation to have a showcase like this. But if money hatting games like Stellar Blade from other studios is the best they can do, at least they’ll still be something to play.

@naruball There were plenty of internal MS Studio games in that presentation. Gears, Flight Simulator, Fable, Age of Mythology, etc. so whatever.

Treading old ground while giving us new looks at gameplay, etc. and new games like Doom: The Dark Age and first reveal of State of Decay 3 and Flight Simulator 24. To say this was all just treading old ground is a bit disingenuous. Plus gave us looks at things like Expedition 33, Mixtape and Wuchang that will be on GamePass.

In any case, do hope Sony gives us a showcase like this soon because it was excellent.

Also coming to GamePass for those who have it on Xbox. Looks fantastic!

Don’t hate me for saying this. But honestly, it looks more fun than the real games.

Problem is that Rockstar never keeps their stuff on subscription services long. And it’s a long game to try to finish before it leaves.

This is all rumor and even Tom Warren said they are “considering” and also that Xbox was not going fully multi-platform. In any case, he NEVER says all of these are going to PS5 so the way it’s being treat as if they all are is ridiculous. They could just have talked about it in a board meeting and it may never come to fruition. CONSIDERING. So saying Xbox “will be bringing a lot of its titles to PS5” is factually incorrect at this time. It’s sad how this is being distorted and reported the way it is. Go read Warren’s actual article and you’ll see the reality. Jez Corden also has a good article on Windows Central and mentioned how some outlets (apparently like Push Square) are reporting this incorrectly. You can’t tell readers that lots of Xbox games are coming when nothing has been reported to say they are confirmed as coming.

Remember this is an “insider” rumor and how many of those, including from Tom Warren, have not come true. Wait for an official announcement. Until then take it with a grain of salt …not the gospel.

But seems like everyone here is taking it as the gospel already so…whatever.

Oh and the same article itself says nothing is set in stone and…

@The_Wailing_Doom There’s been plenty of other SE titles come to Xbox without being on GamePass. Don’t make up crap you don’t know.

And I’m betting you’ll see a lot more now that SE has agreed to do multiplatform. I’m betting FF 7 and 16 will come to Xbox and not be on GamePass.

It’s actually $39.59 if you have PS+.

Even The Tourist won’t output to 8K because the PS5 was never updated to pass it through correctly via HDMI 2.1.

So, no, it wouldn’t even matter if more devs did 8K capable games.

So Sony says they want to get PC players playing their games then entice them to buy a PS5 for the sequel. Hmm…this sure fits in with that strategy!

PC gamers are eating better than anyone. They have so many games and exclusives that will never, ever come to any console. To think they’ll spend another $500 a PS5 just to play a few additional games is laughable. Ain’t going to happen. They’ll wait it out or just live without them.

It’s actually a bigger deal that this is going to PC GamePass than Xbox GamePass.

Been playing this on mobile and really enjoying it so far. Honestly I could care less about the gotcha part of these games. And I think if more people played them they’d see that they are legit high quality games that I have more fun with than some $70 AAA games without having to spend a dime.

It’s shocking that there’s actually different opinions on a game. 7/10 on Pure Xbox but Eurogamer gave it a perfect 5/5?!?

I can’t believe it. Everyone is supposed to have negative opinions on this game. No way it almost has the same average as Ghost of Tsushima on OpenCritic (82 vs 84).

All those bashing the game here on Push Square have to be right! Surely everyone here has an informed opinion from playing the game!

Informative reading a bunch of console bashing comments from people who haven’t even played the game.

Hellblade 2 has an 82 on OpenCritic. For comparison, Ghosts of Tsushima has an 84. But according to readers here, this game is complete trash.

Great game. Absolutely beautiful and the sound is amazing. And despite what others think, the immersiveness is part of the gameplay. It makes it an experience.

Enjoying every minute of it. All that said I don’t think it was necessary to have this article here.

Fun game but I’m surprised it has the player base to be able to fund this. Will be checking it out again with the upgrade!

Just having another one would be better than the silent treatment we’ve been given.

You’d think they’d try a little harder with Hellblade II hitting GamePass this month. But guess with the huge console lead, they don’t care.

Don’t really get the complaint about the English dub. Seems fine to me. Much better than many JRPG dubs.

Haven’t had too much time to sink into it yet but it seems significantly harder than the demo to me. May have to be a wuss and turn the difficulty down!

I actually downloaded my PS Plus version about three hours ago.

Interesting to hear that the English dub is that bad. Seemed okay on the demo but guess that was just a small slice.

Was a bit worried this may be the case when it looked nice and was an EA game for only $19.99. Something was missing. Apparently a lot was missing to make it a good game. Oh well, I’ll give it a try on Plus at least.

The PC version has by far the greatest number of reviews and it currently is a 76 on Metacritic. I think if you added in Xbox and PS5 it would still be around a 75 (would normally look at OpenCritic for exactly this reason but they haven’t added many reviews yet).

That’s not too bad. Still looking forward to it!

The three day one games and Miasma make this a better month than usual for me.

Know how highly rated the last two games were but I’m a bit worn out of the mopey Dad-Kid thing.

I’d LOVE to see a return to the old GoW format. But probably won’t happen.

I’d much rather play a 30 FPS Dragon’s Dogma 2 than a 60 FPS Lord of the Rings: Gollum. Just sayin’ 😀

Seriously though, while I’m not saying I wouldn’t love 60 FOS in DD2, I’m still having a blast with the game and am not even thinking about the framerate.

Series X, 120hz and VRR on my LG CX helping to keep it smooth most of the time.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Unicorn Overlord are my frontrunners right now for GoTY. Both fantastic games.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is absolutely fantastic and the framerate has not bothered me (at least on Series X and VRR). It’s a GoTY candidate and I feel sorry for those ignoring it just because of the frame rate.

Yeah, the demo did absolutely nothing for me. Bored me to tears. But maybe the full game pulls things together better.

If the game got an ESRB rating, it’s got to be close to release with a final build submitted for a rating, right?

Absolutely love this. What other game can you hang on the back of a flying griffin, continuing to attack it while your pawns fight from the ground? The combat is glorious - the best and most immersive fantasy experience I’ve found in gaming. This and Unicorn Overlord are my GoTY candidates so far and DD2 is inching towards pulling away with it.

They’ve had a whole year to search for a replacement knowing he would be leaving. What have they been doing?

10 from me so far. This and Dragon’s Dogma 2 are neck and neck for early GoTY consideration. But this is one of the best strategic based RPGs I’ve ever played. So addicting to say “just one more stage” and find yourself still playing hours later.
