@Grumblevolcano Honestly I was shocked the the DLC is being given away via GamePass. Usually expansions aren’t so that’s not something Xbox players are “conditioned” to. We’re used to paying extra for DLC even for first party games. Not complaining about this getting this one though!

Got an early copy of this for my Series X and absolutely loving it. One of the best racing games in a while IMO.

I was under the impression that you can choose either 30 FPS locked or unlocked. Is that not the case? Because obviously unlocked is going to look at lot worse if your TV doesn’t have VRR to smooth things out.

On one hand, I’m okay with this but on the other, I’m really, really getting burnt out on remasters. Pretty soon this will be the generation most known for remasters.

Why is Bang on Balls on the list as coming this weeek? It’s been out for months. I own it.

Edit: Nevermind. It’s getting a next gen upgrade.

I think SE secretly used the Xbox Series S as their base console with the ports of both games to be announced within the next six months. 😀

Really couldn’t stand how much padding was added to Remake so sad to hear it’s more of the same in that area. Don’t understand the need to make a game a billion hours long. I’d rather have a great 20 hour RPG that’s a banger from start to finish than a 40 hour game where half of it is boring AF.

Honestly more excited for this than Rebirth.

Phil also clearly said that the dam wasn’t about to break with exclusive games going to other platforms. And that he didn’t want to get gamers on other platforms hopes up. But the media will continue this endless, pointless speculation anyway they can and cherry pick quotes.

Not big on co-op games. Wish it had AI teammates like the first one did.

I haven’t even finished the first game. It just honestly is filled with so much….well, filler. Hope to the next one is both meatier and more streamlined of unnecessary stuff.

Honestly this just seems like a F2P game they threw a price tag on so they can say they’re giving it away with PS Plus. Not gonna bother with it.

It’s a shame most of the original developers of Burnout games are now Three Fields Entertainment. If they are going to make a new Burnout game, they should enlist them as part of the development team!

Love this game and it’s awesome at 60 FPS on Series X. So would be great if it got an official update for PlayStation as well.

Thought it was kind of weird that Push Square was doing a story on this since it sounds like they’re working with Xbox Studios on a new game. But then the article conveniently left out that part, lol.

Started it and honestly can hardly tell the difference with the upgrade. Could just be the section I’m on. That said, the loading times are much better and the $10 was well spent for that alone.

I don’t know. I started out liking Helldivers but quickly fell off. Maybe this one will change my mind.

When I saw the headline I got excited thinking it might be a trio of 9s from this website group (PX and NL both gave 9s). But 8 is a good score nonetheless. Really excited for this one!

Had held off on Tiny Tina so there’s that at least. Otherwise not doing much for me.

Alan Wake 2. Not only the best looking but most creative and all-around GoTY for me with quite a distance between it and second place.

Played two of the three on GamePass and actually bought Evil West (which is okay but not great). But the other two are well worth checking out!

Alan Wake 2 blew me away too. Such an amazing game. Not only my GoTY but one of my favorite games of all time.

Played it on GamePass at launch but don’t miss Tinykin. It’s a fantastic Pikmin type game.

To me it has to be about the brand. Sony put out one game this year and there’s little known about what’s coming. People are likely buying the system to play their favorite multiplatform games like CoD on a system they know. Because Sony frankly didn’t have a great year. Just one first party title and nothing announced for 2024.

I’m honestly shocked because as a PlayStation owner myself I haven’t felt good about where PS is going for a while. Focus on GaaS and next to zero communication about first party. I literally have nothing to be excited for.

So this means Microsoft doesn’t have the same policy? If so, then it really is something Sony should consider dropping.

@CielloArc They were so ashamed of Hi-Fi Rush that they stealth dropped it?!? Sure, that’s why it’s one of the most highly rated games of the year. It has an 89 on OpenCritic.

Just because almost every comment is ragging on Xbox. I will just say I love my Series X. There are plenty of great games on it. I personally love Starfield, Forza Horizon 5, Hi-Fi Rush, etc. To say it has no games is incredibly disingenuous, but this is a PlayStation site so what can you expect.

I also love my PlayStation 5 too but the amount of negativity towards Xbox on this site is out of hand. I do play my Series X more just because of all the day one releases on GamePass.

Really, really want Alan Wake 2 to win because it’s just phenomenal. But as many others have said, BG3 will likely win.

@Cherip-the-Ripper Why are you comparing the full month PS Plus lineup to half of a month of GamePass? GP got 12 games total this month including Dungeons 4, Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name, Persona 5 Tactica, Wild Hearts, Football Manager 2024, Rollerdrome, Dune Spicewars and some other well received day one indie releases. Compare the whole month if you’re going to compare.

For the record, I’d take just Dungeons 4, Like a Dragon and Tactica over the entire PS+ list.
