Everybody's favourite marsupial mascot, Crash Bandicoot, could be about to set off on an all-new multiplayer adventure, and we could hear about it as soon as this week if the rumours are true. That's according to Windows Central journalist Jez Corden, who appeared on the most recent episode of the Windows Central Gaming Podcast. Corden is an industry insider with a solid track history, so this may well be the case.
Here's what he had to say on the matter: "New Crash? I wonder where you got that information from? I wasn't supposed to leak that. I think we could see a new Crash Bandicoot, and not only is it gonna be a new Crash Bandicoot, it's gonna be a multiplayer Crash Bandicoot. It's like a four-player brawler almost, but Crash oriented."
Corden said that he couldn't recall the official title of the game during the podcast, but if it isn't called Crash Bash then somebody definitely needs to get fired. Would you play a multiplayer brawler set in the Crash Bandicoot universe? Put up your dukes in the comments section below.

When I first read on Pure Xbox I was thinking a remaster of Crash Bash considering they remastered the other 4.

Really? The first thing they do with Crash after the Activision acquisition is make him multiplayer focused? Yeh i know crash bash was a thing but theres a reason they didnt make more. Heck when they got the cart racer right the sequels sucked.
Sounds more like an F2P game.
We wouldn't get this anyway after the MS buyout.

At least I still have the remastered trilogy and crash 4 to rely upon if I feel nostalgic.
I need to see it in action first but a multiplayer game sounds like a pass for me.
Nice that Crash will continue getting more games but I rather have a new Spyro game.

@theMEGAniggle we will found out. Though I assume it will go onto game pass? Though not at release date as I assume the buyout isn’t completed yet.

the whole reason crash exists was to compete with mario . mario can have a bunch of multiplayer spin-offs but crash can’t ? anyway , bring on the multiplayer ! let’s go !
I believe this rumor is referring to Wumpa League...hard pass if that's the case.
