I don't have an iPhone so this isn't for me but... I'll still be pretty impressed if they can run modern games @ full graphics and framerate, whilst getting decent battery life and not melting
I loved Death Stranding but I just can't imagine it having the same impact on a tiny screen. Impressive, if they can run it native with decent battery life and without burning your hands.
Edit: I just remembered those long cut scenes too...
@KeanuReaves it's that Xbox, Steam and some other Pc stores sell codes to resellers. Meaning you can have competition in digital codes and buy them via people like CD Keys. Sony does not hence the case.
I'm not sure what goes on with Nintendo as there seems to be a selection of games available with codes, but not many.
Edit: I might be out of date on Sony as Cdkeys do have keys for PS, maybe they don't in Romania...
For me when the PS4 came out £45 was the price of a lot of games, I appreciate inflation happens but now £60 - £70 makes me think a bit more, especially if I'm not ready to immediately play it.
I'm also not buying anything until I find out if it's a broken mess which seems to happen a lot now.
@Thelegend159 The first one had guns, they made you an overpowered god. Not that that was too much bother but it was always more fun with bats and knives.
Does this version include the same stuff as you get on Xbox Gamepass? If so then I've been playing that version on and off for years and never once considered the dlc as it all looked cosmetic, and you get plenty of that for free.
Hopefully it is the same version as nobody wants a demo masquerading as a full game.
@Salt_AU I would think there is a good chance they are losing money and that will be part of the long term plan. Usually things like Netflix have to invest and lose huge amount of money for years to get to the size where they can make it pay.
@yellowdog05 I get your arguments and for some people that will be true.
For me it's the same as Netflix, sometimes I'm hitting it really hard and it's absolutely worth it, other times I'm not watching or playing that much but I don't cancel as the monthly fee isn't too bad.
The problem is there is an incentive to make the game grindy so they can sell these boosts. They've also put them in after launch knowing they'll be out of the review period.

Re: Court Rules £5 Billion Lawsuit Against Sony Can Go Ahead, Following Years of 'Excessive' PS Store Prices
@RadioHedgeFund Price of carts were expensive before you put game on it.
I googled it but PS1 disks were somewhere around $1 and N64 were about $30 just for the media.

@Ashina Indy Devs are making the most interesting games anyway, so long may they prosper
Re: You'll Need Marvel's Spider-Man 2's Digital Deluxe Edition for Those Extra PS5 Suits
I didn't like any suits that didn't make me look like a proper Spiderman, but this still sucks for those that like to try them all.

Re: UK Sales Charts: Nothing on PS5, PS4, Can Compete with Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
@Wheatly if I see before paying that someone uses royal mail I'll just order somewhere else. That is if I care about getting it any time soon 😉

Re: Rumour: PS Vita 2 Dreams Killed But Sony Might Have a 'Cloud-Streaming Handheld' in the Works
Sounds exactly like something nobody wants.
In a moment of very wild speculation I hoped they'd make a branded Steam deck thing, running Windows of course
Re: Dead Space's Jaw-Dropping PS5 Remake Adds Extra Exploration
@MattBoothDev whilst a VR version sounds great I think I'd need too many changes of underwear.

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Now Live in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand
@billynotsilly I'm gonna butt in here, sorry. I have the 1TB SN850 and it's been absolutely fine since I bought it in January
Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Now Live in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand
My upgrade to Premium was £15.75 for 114 days so I'll treat that as an extended trial and see if I use it enough

Re: Hades Could Finally Be Coming to PlayStation
@b1ackjack it does have cross save between PC and Switch I believe.
That's not to say it will with PS but there is a glimmer of hope.

I'm not sure this was ever going to sell well. The demo didn't do it any favours.
Re: Aliens: Fireteam Squads Up in 25 Minute PS5, PS4 Gameplay Demo
That big red X that appears when you kill is odd.

Re: Soapbox: PS5 Pricing Is Setting Releases Like Returnal Up to Fail
Happy to wait, bound to get deep discounts way before I run out of things to play. Plus games get patches and improvements along the way.
Re: PS5 Becomes UK's Biggest Ever Console Launch, Says New Report
I think both the Xbox and PS5 would have sold out if they had 5 times as much stock available.
At one point I was in a queue on Currys website with 150K people just for the PS5
Re: Don't Worry, Dying Light 2 Is Still in Active Development
Loved the first one. Co-op was just so much fun. Happy to wait until they get it right.
Re: No Microtransactions in Crash Bandicoot 4, States Dev
I'm not in a rush to play so happy to wait a while to see if they add them later. Basically how I treat most games now.
Re: Poll: How Much Do 'True' Gameplay Trailers Matter to You?
If anything this generation has taught me not to preorder.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for May 2020?
No interest in Farming SIM but Skylines is good.
