I'm on my Hard playthrough right now. Harry just helped Pete in the iron refinery. It says I'm 66% done. Ludicrous. I remember thinking "It should be at MAYBE 40%." Especially considering it's telling the stories of two Spider-Men, Harry returning, Pete getting the black suit, and Harry becoming Venom to take over NYC. I mean, it felt like a lifetime before Doc Ock was fully revealed in the first game! And yes, the last (third?) totally rips of WEB OF SHADOWS.

You can tell it was rushed. The pacing was completely off compared to the first game. They gutted the story and missions. The confirmed Daily Bugle attack would have been amazing. Out of nowhere we have the symbiotes running rampant. Compare this to the slow build-up in the first game to Doc Ock breaking the villians out of the Raft and the resulting chaos in the streets. Then the mass hysteria due to the Devil's Breath outbreak. That game just kept escalating. Felt like a true Spider-Man comic book storyline. In comparison, the second game rushed Miles and Pete's arcs. The culmination of the symbiote takeover should have been epic. Instead it felt like it came out of nowhere. Okay, I'll stop ranting.

All this says to me is that Sony decided to take the DLC and have them fold it into a full-fledged VENOM game or SPIDER-MAN 3. Of course, with that ending, maybe we will get a SPIDER-MAN: MILES MORALES 2....

I love it, for the most part. But one of the sticks clicks out of place constantly and I have to push it back down. When I contacted Sony, I was literally told "we used sub-par sticks in the build." SMH. Also, the WiFi protocols not allowing us to play cloud-based games is ludicrous. Just add a separate PSN streaming application on the dang thing! I want to play LORDS OF SHADOW again!!!

I played the Alpha test and was surprised how much I liked it. The combat was very fluid and forced a nice ebb and flow between traversal and combat. Also, the cut scenes and dialogue were really fun. However, I play primarily single player games, so this would be a case of only playing single so I will wait until I can pick it up for around $30.00.

And it will be overshadowed by the Nintendo Direct.... shakes head

RDR and ARKHAM TRILOGY were the last two third-party ports I really wanted on Switch. Even if it ends up like the GTA games, I'll still get it. If not... Then PS5 with Project Q I guess!

This and MK1 are showing a true fighting game renaissance. With Tekken coming soon we just need a new Soul Calibur and I'd be very happy. Also, where the hell is my CAPCOM VS. SNK 1 & 2 COLLECTION!?!?

As a busy Dad who rarely gets the TV, this would be a lifesaver. I stream on my phone with a Razr Kishii sometimes, but I do miss the haptic feedback and layout of the DualSense. If it sits between $150.00 and $200.00 I will probably bite. I love my WiiU, so this would solve a lot of problems in terms of not being forced to play the Switch most of the time and being able to finally put some of my PS5 backlog behind me.

All I want is Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine. And yes, 10/20/23 does sound fantastic. I also feel like we will see a new TWISTED METAL. It's time.

Quick question... Does anyone else experience crashing when playing in Performance mode with VRR enabled on their TV?

Between playing it on PS4 and PS5, I believe I am on my 6th playthrough. Rolling an Ultimate New Game+ right now for fun. Definitely have gotten my $$$s worth. SPIDER-MAN 2 is easily my most anticipated game of the year.

I had no idea this was coming. Glad I held off, because this game was on my 'to-play' list!

Too many games at the moment. And then, of course, in two weeks TEARS OF THE KINGDOM. JEDI: SURVIVOR, DIABLO 4, and FFXVI will all have to wait a bit me thinks. Will probably be able to get them on sale by then anyway.

This is what I am hoping too. I want to see them build a life. Perhaps make Joel's death the end of Season 2 and then 3 would be Ellie's journey.

Yeaaaaahhh.... Not a fan of this. Wish they would have at least done something like FF through FFIX with a zoomed out map where I can fly an airship around. I don't like forced quick travel.

A WiiU style GamePad for the PS5 would be amazing as I usually can't get time with the TV outside of weekends and Remote play on my phone with my Razr Kishii is so/so.

I'm in the same boat, lol. If they can create a WiiU GamePad like device for PS systems and hit a $150.00 USD price point then I would be there day one.

As someone who rarely gets to use the TV and as a result games primarily on the Switch, this would be fantastic. A dedicated device that offers quality and performance akin to the WiiU's Gamepad? I would be all for it if they can hit a sub $150.00 USD price point.

I rolled with a Druid for the 6 hours I played and loved every minute. This is Diablo at it's most distilled and efficient. From inventory management to leveling-up; everything was streamlined. At the end of the day we're playing Ultra-Gauntlet, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Seriously concerned about Microsoft buying up all these developers. But hey, I'll be playing SPIDER-MAN 2, TEARS OF THE KINGDOM, DIABLO IV, and FF VI this year. So I'm good.

Microsoft buying up all of these developers is such a cheap move. Honestly, I don't see how the U.S. government can keep authorizing these entertainment mergers. We will be down to two or three companies that own everything. Entertainment will just get more and more homogenized.

I've had this app on my phone since 2018. It's simply the best way to stream PS4 and PS5 games to my phone. This with my Razr Kishii creates a solid streaming experience. Will probably upgrade to the Backbone, though.

For a show that has been consistently engrossing week-to-week, it's hard to get down on an episode that was simply 'Good.' It just felt like a quick side-episode before the sure-to-be-rushed finale. Each game should get 2 seasons, minimum.

It's like every game company decided 6 to 8 years ago that online-multiplayer-service games were the future. Well, the future is here and they were wrong. I kind of liked AVENGERS. However, I just wanted a new DC / Batman one player game and BOTH Arkham developers have failed me. Of course you know I'll buy this just like GOTHAM KNIGHTS. At least the traversal and gunplay look fun.

Still chipping away at GOTHAM KNIGHTS...

Fingers crossed for SPIDER-MAN 2 and WOLVERINE to hit the 4K/60FPS mark.

I am about 2 1/2 hours in so far. I hope the combat opens up a bit. Crime fighting and traversing the city is fun; even if the Batcycle feels like Travis Touchdown's trike in NMH, lol. I really love all the nods to THE ANIMATED SERIES. It feels like the CW series of DC video games. If ARKHAM CITY is THE DARK KNIGHT. Then this is ARROW.

There is just no excuse. I am playing GOTHAM KNIGHTS and I am fine with 30fps, but the fidelity of the graphics should be much higher. I hope a patch comes in to get rid of Ray Tracing to add 60fps. Seriously, it looks like a PS4 game with Ray Tracing.

Getting ready to start it in the next hour or so. I just want a decent action/adventure game in the Batman universe. I look for this to fit the bill.

A closer, over the shoulder camera angle like RE4 and GOW2018 would make the combat feel very personal. I think it would be a great choice.

This is just one more thing to be miffed about after I bought a Quest 1 and Oculus announced Quest 2 five months later.

As long as there is at least a year of exclusivity on the games.

It plays buttery smooth on the PS5 as it is. I am excited what the official PS5 release has in store!

Was one of the lucky few to be right there and snag one on November 25th when Walmart had more in stock for about 2 minutes.

I think it will be on the next several weeks and will focus on RATCHET AND CLANK, but also show a few other titles.

Oh man, LOADED! Been a while since I've thought about that game.

Ever since I saw the leaked footage several years ago, HOGWARTS LEGACY has been at the top of my list. And it looks like I am the only person excited for GOTHAM KNIGHTS.
; ) .

I have been waiting for MANEATER on Switch. So now that I get to play it first on PS5 through PS+ makes the wait worth it.

DOOM ETERNAL on Switch, MILES MORALES on PS5.

How it curves inward at the bottom makes it harder for me to keep a grip. The DualShock4 was pretty much a perfect controller.

Picked up both THPS1&2 and AVENGERS. So there we go.
