Weird West is getting a native PS5 version in the not-too-distant future. Details are scarce, with about the only features confirmed being 4K resolution and that all-important 60fps, with more news coming next week.
We enjoyed Weird West, praising its great story and fantastic combat, and the title has seen numerous updates and community events since its launch. If you liked the look of this one but held off on pulling the trigger for one reason or another, it looks like your patience has been rewarded

I had no idea this was coming. Glad I held off, because this game was on my 'to-play' list!
Glad it finally got a PS5 version, the release date is a bit unfortunate though, way too busy with other games.
This would have worked so much better as a true immersive sim...
Very good news for a very good game 😌 I never finished it though so I'll be happy to start again for this version.
Didn't it already run at 60fps on PS5 though? Albeit at a lower resolution than 4k?
I might actually buy this! Hopefully the price is right for this one
@SlySnake0407 I was very interested in this, and dropped it after a few hours because the console controls in general and the aiming system in particular were so cumbersome. I can’t recall another game where the controls made me quit.
I was not aware they patched in a new aiming system. They certainly needed to. Maybe I should try this again?

but as someone who bought the PS4 version in a sale and never really got around to playing it properly, I hope for the best!

Was thinking the same thing. Here's hoping there is at least an upgrade price over going in full boat. If they are look for full price, I will pass on this until it hits a deep deep sale.
I remembered seeing this on G4 last year and thinking it looked kinda interesting but at the same time super bland and kinda boring. Their review was probably the most interesting thing about it hahahaha.
Found it didn't work well with the pad. Was much better with mouse and keyboard.
Not the directional aiming, but the distance aiming was awkward.
Has this game been removed from Playstation store?
