There goes my hopes for a PSVR2 patch

@BritneyfR_ee ive noticed that the pulse headset is awful for movies. Bass tones just distort something terrible. Everything else its brilliant at, but 4k movies are a no go.

@get2sammyb im hoping its one of the 'surprise' firmware features but i wouldnt put money on it.

With VRR rolling out on Sonys TV's surely this has to be on the way soon.

While im enjoying the challenge, i would like an easy mode i can run through purely so i can feel like an absolute kung fu monster.

@riceNpea folks were naturally not impressed with MS appearing to create a monopoly. Rain was saying we should thank Phil for it. You can imagine how it went from there.

Dont know if you folks are on Discord or anything (i have it, not sure how to use it) as we should set up something on there. That way we can keep in touch without clogging up comments sections for these fine folks.

@riceNpea lovely stuff this! I float about on here and pop the occasional comment in now and then. Other places just arent the same these days if you get my drift so i think a few are starting to wander.

Would be nice if there was some kind of upgrade route for psvr headset owners. Not that they have to of course, but it would be nice.

Back compat is s biggy for me though. I dont really want two headsets (and the first is a bit faffy, lets be honest) and I have to many psvr games to let them go to waste if i cant play them.

Im tempted to try deaths door but i dont like roguelikes. I hear a lot of good things with this though. Somebody sell me on it and i will tip quite easily to getting it!

For all that is in this sale there is very little actually offered from it.

Origins was an absolute chore of a game for me. The game world is lovely but i had to force myself to get through it. I think because of that it killed off any interest i had in playing odyssey or valhalla.

Obviously just my opinion which i am aware is against the grain for this one.

Ashamed to say i still need to get this. I love housmarque games and i know this is a highly praised title but i just couldnt bring myself to slap out £70 for it. Ive plenty of games to crack on with but i do keep my eye out for a reasonably priced used copy.

Digital foundry have advised the frame rate is solid but it runs at 24 fps for a 'filmic look' at different points (the car chase being one) which gives the impression of judder on consoles when there isnt any. Weird choice but my god this thing is stunning to behold.

Always feel the need to post that in certain cd copies of kid A there is a limited edition comic book hidden underneath the part of the case that holds the cd. Always surprised how many folks didnt know that and, while some copies dont, its always a treat watching peoples faces when they find one after years of owning it.

@IonMagi there a two versions. The original is a ps4/psvr title (included in plus) and The Enhanced Edition is a native PS5 port also available on PS4. This is not included in plus.

I wish we could go back to the time when a game was announced and arrived a few months later. There will come a point I'll have to consider whether i may actually be dead before things arrive.

Love this game. Its just good old fashioned co-op fun.

Im quite keen to play aliens fireteam but i cant shake the feeling that it screams PS Plus title to me.

@Denni5m mate, i used to load games from a tape cassette, waiting a few minutes while something moves from one hard drive to another is a non issue if you ask me.

@ATaco you dont even need super fast internet. I just have my ps4 games on an external HDD and shuttle any PS5 games im not using onto it as well.

I havent found any reason to stump out for another SSD yet and, being honest, cant see one coming along anytime soon.

I'll tell you what wouldnt go amiss, an actual new game from them.

Im gonna assume 9 come with the base game and the remainder are purchasable via lootbox

Some folks in here are just happy to cut their nose off to spite their faces. I also bet 90% of folks grumbling have there console connected to the internet day in, day out.

I do find it odd that some folks want Sony to backtrack on this when its likely nothing to do with them. It will be the developers choice to require an online connection for single player.

I see both sides as im not to fussed personally about it requiring to be online but completely get why people are annoyed as it could leave them with a dead game in a few years.

But one guy in these comments says they cancelled their pre order and sold their PS5 because of this. I mean, come on. Thats just toddler tantrum levels of reaction. We havent even had 100% clarification as to what is needed and why.

I think folks need to calm down a touch.

Bought this in a sale and not played it yet. I really should get round to it.
