Struggled to see why i needed this but, as its built from the ground up using the combat systems from 2, im gonna find it hard not to put the money down as i love these games.

Theres a couple of games i want to have a go of on the new subscription. This has now been added to the list. All depends on the cost to upgrade. Im a bit of a tight arse and begrudge paying for many things 😂

Never understood the hate for so called walking sims. Games like everybody's gone to the rapture (to name one) are absolutely superb.

@Woogy I have an LG C1 and it works a treat. Fidelity mode on miles morales was hitting 118-119 frames per second.

Edit: scratch that. I hadnt changed the setting 😂. This was performance RT mode.

Im gonna guess they will fall back on the line all terms contain that says 'SIE retain the right to withdraw, remove or modify this service at any time' (or something like that). Its a bullsh*t term that almost all companies use but normally they are required to provide notice. Saying that though, they have told us its changing and that would probably be their defence.

Ive not really bought any big releases on launch day yet as i just cant bring myself to pay 70 quid. Seeing games discounted to 59.99 and 54.99 makes me think i wont be picking them up for a while yet either.

@Grahamthecracker no problem. I had the same issue and read that somewhere. Bizzare way of doing but it works.

@Grahamthecracker put it in rest mode and once it’s there pull the power lead out. Wait a min, plug it in and then power up. It’ll rebuild the database and then if you check your storage the ‘other’ bit will have gone right down. For some reason you can’t just rebuild the database, you have to pull the plug from rest mode.

@Fyz306903 I never said it was their fault. Full price on ps4 is still the same as until dawn was. The only thing that changed is sony slapped another price on next gen versions.

@Mostik id love a new one that takes a bit of inspiration from rockstars' The Warriors. Using the environment in fights, etc... A touch of sleeping dogs would go well in that sense to.

@BritneyfR_ee there is a vast difference between a fillet steak and a pack of uncle bens rice. There is also zero comparison with either of them and a skin in fortnite.

One is a cheap bag of rice, one is an expensive steak. They both provide very different, useful, things.

One is a chargeable skin that does exactly (EXACTLY) the same thing as the one you got free.

@KilloWertz i wouldnt worry about it as your characters never speak. My eldest two play this and i dont see the point in buying skins at all.

Theyre pretty good with money and stuff. I bought them a battle pass each and, if they finish it, they get enough in game credits for the next one and a surplus amount left over.

They are well aware i wont be punting for another one and my card details never enter that console.

@BritneyfR_ee ive noticed that the pulse headset is awful for movies. Bass tones just distort something terrible. Everything else its brilliant at, but 4k movies are a no go.

@get2sammyb im hoping its one of the 'surprise' firmware features but i wouldnt put money on it.

With VRR rolling out on Sonys TV's surely this has to be on the way soon.

While im enjoying the challenge, i would like an easy mode i can run through purely so i can feel like an absolute kung fu monster.

@riceNpea folks were naturally not impressed with MS appearing to create a monopoly. Rain was saying we should thank Phil for it. You can imagine how it went from there.

Dont know if you folks are on Discord or anything (i have it, not sure how to use it) as we should set up something on there. That way we can keep in touch without clogging up comments sections for these fine folks.

Would be nice if there was some kind of upgrade route for psvr headset owners. Not that they have to of course, but it would be nice.

Back compat is s biggy for me though. I dont really want two headsets (and the first is a bit faffy, lets be honest) and I have to many psvr games to let them go to waste if i cant play them.
