I loved FF16, BUT it's practically the only FF ive played other than OG FF7.
So I can't in good faith recommend it to people who like the traditional turn based FF games but anyone who likes Devil May Cry, Bayonetta or the PS2 God Of War games...definitely play FF16. It's a blast if you like that over the top hack n slash gameplay.
God Of War is one of Sony's most iconic IPs. Wolverine isn't immediately recognizable as a flagship Sony IP even though the game is being made by the wonderful people over at Insomniac.
I'm not buying anything from Digital Eclipse ever again. I was super excited for the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection that I pre-ordered the big collector's edition and snagged a digital copy for launch day.
The digital copy had horrendous offline (yes, offline) input lag on PS5 and the online was pretty much unplayable.
And I still haven't received my collector's edition...and earlier this year when I tried to cancel it and get a refund they essentially told me to go f*** myself.
It definitely doesn't look like *****...but im personally not very interested in it myself.
I'm just waiting for the remastered trilogy. Now that ive had long to think about it I realize I just prefer the old games style of gameplay and puzzles.
I really want to see a good Pokémonlike on PS. I know some exist like Temtem but that felt like it was missing something...idk what but I couldn't get into it like that.
I understand and remember having to play the games to unlock stuff, but I don't remember many instances where you had to do that to unlock couch co-op if the game had it.
I think San Andreas requires some gameplay to play it's 2 player mode but that's all I can remember
The new games are good and all but skipping over the Greek Arc entirely kinda annoys me.
I'm sure there will be references to it and maybe some flashbacks but damn, those games had a scale of epicness to them the Norse games certainly didn't have.
Idk who could pull it off but can you imagine the opening to GoW3 in live action? That'd be insanity lol
If some aspiring rapper records an album using their own money for production, studio time, mixing etc but then get signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation and they help publish, advertise and distribute said artist's album...no I don't think that artist is independent.
Yes they created the art with their own time, money, and resources but the second a big studio is helping them out I think they no longer qualify as an independent artist.
Same with gaming or any other meduim, in my opinion.
All I know is that if the Steamcube is comparable to a base PS5 and Valve doesn't require me to pay ten dollars a month to use online features, I will probably make it my main gaming space moving forward.
My PS5 can be reserved strictly for exclusives that are not on Steam.
I enjoyed Tsushima however I am personally liking Yotei more so far. I like Atsu a lot, I love the revenge plot, and the fact we aren't limited to a katana since Atsu isn't hung up on being an honorable samurai.
It's far from almost flawless. The netcode is atrocious. Absolutely unacceptable for rollback in 2025.
Seriously, anyone potentially getting this kollection to play it online do not waste your money like I did.
No ranked
No lobbie
No private match
Terrible netcode
UMK3 Wavenet has online versus but no training mode like all of the other games with online in this kollection
MK3/UMK3/Trilogy doesn't have the kombo strings in the move list which is something even the old Arcade Kollection had.
The training modes don't even have a simple reset position button
I understand not everyone cares about playing online or trying to get good at these games but c'mon...for the price tag it should have standard features and netcode that doesn't feel like it's from 2006.

Re: 'Some Analysts Believe Sony Is Considering Pushing the PS6 Back': Embracer Report Hints at Later Than 2027 Launch
Unless the PS6 is a truly groundbreaking generational change I just dont see the need for it yet.
I'm not exactly dying to spend $800-$1,000 for a new machine that offers nothing but barley noticeable graphical improvements.
Re: Vampire Survivors Dev 'Reviewing' Fortnite Collaboration Due to Epic's Use of Generative AI
Vampire Survivors was definitely fun...but now that I know a Warhammer Survivors is coming that's all I want from the "bullet heaven" subgenre lol
Re: If You're Itching for a Gothic Action RPG, Mistfall Hunter's Free Open Beta Is Now Live on PS5
Sick, ill give it a try and see what's up.
Re: Opinion: PS Plus Users, You Should Play Final Fantasy 16 (But Only If You Play It Like This)
I loved FF16, BUT it's practically the only FF ive played other than OG FF7.

Re: PS5 Fans Think Sony Is Pushing God of War Laufey Harder Than Wolverine
Ya don't say?
God Of War is one of Sony's most iconic IPs. Wolverine isn't immediately recognizable as a flagship Sony IP even though the game is being made by the wonderful people over at Insomniac.
Re: The PS5 Release Schedule for Fall 2026 Is Now Beyond a Joke
I'm pretty much waiting on...
Mortal Shell 2
Lords Of The Fallen 2
Darksiders 4
And VIrtua Fighter Crossroads
Re: This New Digital Eclipse Joint Could Be the Coolest Retro Compilation for PS5 Yet

They fooled me once but it won't happen again lol
Re: 'That Looks Like Sh*t': God of War Creator Predictably Tears New PS5 Game to Shreds

Re: Mina the Hollower (PS5) - Masterpiece for Many, But Not for Me
I'm all in on some Zeldasouls, im dying to play Tearscape but no PC :/
Re: Sorry, Astro Bot's New PS5 Update Doesn't Have Anything to Do with State of Play
I saw that update this morning and got so excited lol
Astro Bot is a gem 💎
Re: Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40K Is a Match Made in Heaven
Space Marine 2 update dropped today for anyone who clicked this because of Warhammer...super sick game 🔥
Re: New Virtua Fighter PS5 Footage Leaks, And It's Blowing My Mind
Bruh it looks so good 🔥
I can't wait to get even a release date on this one lol
Re: Free on Xbox, PS5 Owners Made to Pay $10 for New Darksiders Upgrade
I absolutely adore this series but I don't think I need to pay $10 for this, the PS4 port is fine as it is to me.
Re: PS5's New Weekly Player Tracker Has Revealed Some Brutal Truths for Fans
Any word on how 2XKO's numbers are looking on ps5? I'm curious to see if it's similar to the average Steam numbers or not.
Re: Mini Review: Monster Crown: Sin Eater (PS5) - So Much More Than Your Typical Pokémon Clone
Yeah definitely gonna wishlist this one. I adore how it looks and im itching for a good Pokémonlike I can get on my PS5.
Re: Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection Adds Crossplay, PS5 VRR Support, More in Massive Free Update
Did they lower the input lag on PS5? That was my biggest complaint and why I dropped the game so quick.
Re: 'IP That Will Captivate the World': A New Juggernaut Has Just Entered Japanese Game Publishing
I wonder what this means for all of the huge IPs they've historically licensed out to Bandai Namco like Dragon Ball and One Piece 🤔
Re: Monster Crown: Sin Eater Needs to Be on Your Retro RPG Radar, Rides to PS5 This Month
Now that's how you do a Pokémonlike. I know im old but I simply adore that GB/GBA retro look like the first two gen pkmn games.
Re: Pokémon, Palworld Rip-Off Pickmon Returns with a New Name, You Won't Believe the Difference
I really want to see a good Pokémonlike on PS. I know some exist like Temtem but that felt like it was missing something...idk what but I couldn't get into it like that.
Re: Best PS5 Fighting Games to Play in 2026
@nomither6 It's a fantastic fighting game however I doubt there are still many people playing it online.
Anyone who wants to play online with a diverse pool of players definitely shouldn't buy SF4 in 2026.
If you're just playing against the cpu or offline versus with the homies sure but that's about it right now.
Re: Best PS5 Fighting Games to Play in 2026
SFV above Strive, Tekken 8 above anything and USF4 being #1 is crazy lol
If you want a good pvp fighting game to play today your best options on current generation consoles are SF6 and GG Strive.
And dooming aside from company layoffs, 2XKO is damn fun.
Re: Invincible VS Open Beta: All Start Times, How to Play, and What's Included
I'm in solely on the fact this is by some of the former Killer Instinct 2013 devs. That game was unbelievably fun.
Re: 'This Should Be Illegal': PS5's Dynamic Pricing Roundly Criticised by Disgusted Sony Fans
Yeah I don't think it's a good look. Sony is getting cocky and complacent again, which means the consumers will get bent.
Re: Guilty Gear Strive 2.00 Will Get Its Big Reveal Later This Month
Sick. Strive is probably my favorite modern gen fighting game right now.
Re: Highguard Permanently Shuts Down on 12th March
I swear it seems like a ftp game gets announced as shutting down like once a month now.
It seems like you have to catch lightning in a bottle with the ftp format almost out of the gate or it's doomed.
Re: WB Games Is Bringing Back Its 'Biggest Franchises' Starting Next Year
Honestly would love to see NRS make a fighting game like Injustice but based on the recent DC KO comics
That story is pretty much the perfect setup for a fighting game.
Re: Guilty Gear Strive 2.00 Still on Schedule Despite Months of Silence
Strive is so fun, I can't wait to see what they do with 2.0
Re: Memory Crisis Threatening to Delay PS6 Could Last 'Another 10 Years'
I'm fine with that. Maybe by then the PS6 will genuinely look like a huge leap in technology and like a true next generation machine.
Re: Sony Makes Shocking Decision to Shut Down Bluepoint Games
I think Sony should explain this decision. That "statement" is a bunch of nonsense that chatgpt could barf out in 20 seconds.
I think everyone deserves a real explanation behind this and why it actually happened.
Re: Poll: Should God of War Trilogy Remake Adopt the Gameplay Style of Ragnarok?
Hell no. I like the modern GoW games but I think the remakes should be as accurate to the originals as possible.
Re: Opinion: The Euphoric Reaction to PS6's Rumoured Delay Really Confuses Me
Probably because nobody is in a rush to drop another $500+ on a machine that will probably barley look better or do anything innovative.
Unless the PS6 is going to be a really groundbreaking leap it's going to seem redundant and unnecessary right now.
Re: 'I Feel Cheated and I Want a Refund': Fans Lash Out at New PS5 God of War's Unlockable Local Multiplayer Mode
I understand and remember having to play the games to unlock stuff, but I don't remember many instances where you had to do that to unlock couch co-op if the game had it.
I think San Andreas requires some gameplay to play it's 2 player mode but that's all I can remember
Re: Kena: Scars of Kosmora a Bigger and Better PS5 Sequel, Out in 2026
@spcspc Yeah the bosses were way more difficult than I was expecting lol
Great game though and im glad I gave it a chance.
Re: Awesome Free-to-Play Fighter 2XKO Has Arrived on PS5
I think this game could be fun but specials being bound to trigger buttons is kinda weird.
And the two characters that interest me (Warwick and Blitzcrank) don't seem to have much team synergy so far lol
Maybe ill just run Juggernaut Fuse and play one or the other lol
Re: Granblue Fantasy Dev Cygames Apologises for AI Studio Announcement Following Backlash
As long as they dont use that trash on the Kagurabachi anime.
Re: Amazon's God of War TV Series Casts Its Kratos, Story Setup Revealed
The new games are good and all but skipping over the Greek Arc entirely kinda annoys me.
I'm sure there will be references to it and maybe some flashbacks but damn, those games had a scale of epicness to them the Norse games certainly didn't have.
Idk who could pull it off but can you imagine the opening to GoW3 in live action? That'd be insanity lol
Re: Sony May Be 'Planning Its Entire Calendar' Around GTA 6, Says Jason Schreier
I hate this. I won't pretend I do not understand it, but that does not change the fact that not everyone cares about GTA 6.
Those people having to experience a potential gaming drought because of it's looming presence is going to be annoying.
Re: You'll Never Guess the Most Played PS5, PS4 Games of 2025 in the US

Re: Talking Point: With Expedition 33 Winning Best Indie Game, What Does 'Indie' Mean to You?
Let's apply this to the music industry.

Re: Fantastic Fighter Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Opens Up with Easy Control Modes on PS5, PS4
Super fun and underrated fighter. I definitely recommend it especially since you can try it for free.
Re: Ghost of Yotei Huge Patch 1.1 Out Now on PS5, Adds New Game+, Armour, and Much More
Sick
I'm still on my first playthrough but the autoloot option will definitely be a nice QoA addition
Re: Poll: Does the Steam Machine Pose a Threat to PS5?
All I know is that if the Steamcube is comparable to a base PS5 and Valve doesn't require me to pay ten dollars a month to use online features, I will probably make it my main gaming space moving forward.
My PS5 can be reserved strictly for exclusives that are not on Steam.
Re: Horizon MMO Uses AI 'Extensively' in Development, Says NCSOFT
Why would you tell people this lol
Most people don't want ai involved in the stuff they consume.
Re: PS5 Is Getting an Official 27" Monitor with DualSense Charging Functionality
Ok but what's the input lag.
I'm being serious, if we're assuming 90% of the controllers being used on this will be a DualSense controller they should tell is the input lag lol
Re: Poll: Is Ghost of Yotei Better Than Ghost of Tsushima?
I enjoyed Tsushima however I am personally liking Yotei more so far. I like Atsu a lot, I love the revenge plot, and the fact we aren't limited to a katana since Atsu isn't hung up on being an honorable samurai.
Re: Some PS5 Owners Might Be Paying More Than Others on PS Store
That's crooked af, or at least has the potential to be.
Re: Study Claims Physical PS5 Games Are 100 Times Worse for the Planet Than Digital Downloads
Too bad
Me owning a disc of Ghost Of Yotei isn't doing ***** to the planet compared to all of these billionaires with their private jets and yachts.
Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Month (October 2025)
Yotei
It would have been MK Legacy Kollection buy Digital Eclipse dropped the ball hard.
Re: Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection (PS5) - An Almost Flawless Victory for Fighting Game Fans
It's far from almost flawless. The netcode is atrocious. Absolutely unacceptable for rollback in 2025.

Re: Sony's Brave Bet on Anime Is Looking Like a Masterstroke
@Rhaoulos Season 1 definitely only covers a small part of a pretty big and emotional story
I won't tell you it's a masterpiece , but it's a damn good manga.
