Are we able to unlock trophies?

Awwwww, merry Christmas everyone. I'm glad all of you are enjoying these great games. My wife surprised the heck out of me last night when she made me unwrap my first gift. It was titanfall for xbox one. I felt that she made a huge mistake because I don't have an Xbox one!!!

Sure enough she goes under the tree and pulls out this giant box and it's the unity bundle. I felt like that one guy in the video where his wife surprises him with a ps4 but made him unwrap the dualshock 4 first. I told her I love her and I also told her I hated her. Lol. I couldn't believe she spent that kind of money on me.

One of my biggest disappointments this holiday season was seeing all the games I have go on sale for like half off for the most part. I have a tendency to buy games the day they come out. I'm an impatient gamer. Maybe next year I'll work on waiting for when they go on sale.

I have a huge backlog. I'm not complaining though. I'm such a huge gamer that when I see my backlog I feel like I'm in paradise. This is what I'll try work on during the holidays:

Advanced warfare, black flag, diablo 3, titanfall, the last of us remastered and that doesn't even put a dent in it. Anyways I'm done yapping. I'm gonna go fire it up and get cracking on this backlog.

I wish I was good at street fighter. I practiced a lot on the 360 and I even a mad cats fightstick for it. I just couldn't get into it. The flow of the game is too slow for me. I'm a mortal kombat player, maybe that's why.

With this new street fighter coming you know the new ps4 fight sticks are coming as well.

I do see where you're coming from and I totally respect you for having the courage to speak up about naughty dog using the Lord's name in vain.
honestly, I really don't think they put that in there to directly offend Christians. That's just how it is in our culture nowadays.

I say "oh my f ing god" when I play call of duty all the time and I don't say it to purposely offend God. I just get mad when i lose and just blow off steam that way.

I believe naughty dog is more focused on delivering a good Nathan drake experience as opposed to having a hidden agenda to offend Christians or any kind of religion. The beauty of games nowadays is the option to turn off the voices. Definitely something to consider instead of choosing to opt out on playing this game.

This game is so boring it's not even funny. Yes it looks nice but underneath it all is a shooter that feels very dumb.

Did you forget about the kinect being mandatory? What about all those people that didnt have the option to buy the standalone console because it "wont work" without it?

@ShogunRok definitely good first impressions. I've never played a samurai warriors game before so things like the spirit meter and getting the triangle prompt above the enemies head to appear are head scratchers at the moment.

@ShogunRok I ended up buying it after work yesterday. Feels very different from dynasty warriors 8. For starters you have only 1 weapon as opposed to having 2 and being able to alternate during a chain.

You were right about the performance, holds up pretty well.

@ShogunRok I'm somewhat new to the Warriors franchise so I don't really know what's considered "best" or "flawless".

I have dynasty warriors for ps4 and it's my understanding that it pretty much has ps3 visuals but shinier. I want to know if that's the case here. Does it take advantage of the ps4 this time around or is it a shiny last gen port.

You didn't talk about the visuals and performance. Did they finally update the engine?

They also said evil within had to be turned off because it's too scary.

I don't know man I'm getting really pissed off at sony. I thought the reason they're charging to play online was so that they can improve psn. It seems like they haven't done s*** with all these service interruptions.

This group are making it seem like hacking psn is a walk in the park which is worrisome seeing as how I have my card information stored on my profile.

I stopped reading player reviews on meta critic. Some idiot said you're better off playing halo 4 because the graphics are comparable. Ridiculous.

There's a new a sheriff in town when it comes to survival horror, it's Hideo Kojima. My expectations for any new resident evil game have gone down the toilet.

If he can scare the you know what out of me in a 45 minute demo imagine what he's capable of in a full retail release.

Regardless, I grew up on resident evil and have had my fair share of scares. I'll keep an eye out for this one but I'm expecting a more of a survival action game.

Re releases don't bother me one bit. People seriously whine way too much. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

For me, the more games the merrier.

@SimonAdebisi wouldn't ever work in a fighting game. If you have someone that spams it, it will throw of the games balance.

Kano is a beast. I didn't like him in mk9 but here he looks very fun to use.

If you have the time go to gamersyde.com and download the trailer on your phone or whatever to get the best quality. This game looks absolutely gorgeous. I can already tell it's gonna take time to get used to it. It's very fast and fluid.

Can't wait for this.
