Re: How Does Metro: Redux Look in 1080p on the PlayStation 4?

THEundying27

@RawWilson1 I agree with you. Tomb raider should've been 29.99 right out the gate. I paid full price for it and seeing the price drop 50% hurts. Lol

Metro is totally a good deal. I didn't play much of last light but I enjoyed what I did play. And $50 for two fully remastered games is something I'm willing to support.

After watch dogs this game is one I'm waiting for a long with tlou remaster.
It's definitely a good year to be a gamer.

Re: Wait, Did Ed Boon Just Hint at a New Mortal Kombat Game?

THEundying27

I'm stoked for this.

My only question is how the hell are they approaching the story this time around. Almost everyone dies in the reboot.

And not only that, sub zero is now a cyborg.

Maybe they're paving the way for zombie liu kang with his , I don't know. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

Hopefully they'll be able to add more slice points with the next gen hardware. If you recall cyraxs net fatality where the net only slices the head, neck, arms, legs, etc when it shouldve cut the entire body into tiny little pieces. Let's see.....

Re: Will PS4 Power Watch Dogs at 60FPS? Ubisoft Selects Silent

THEundying27

@iSolipsistJudas I blame PC gamers for starting this whole 60fps craze. Whining and complaining about consoles not being able to put out 1080p with higher frame rate and now that they are, it's not enough. It's all about 4k resolution now with 120fps.

I never cared before but now that I have an eye for little details like that I find myself nitpicking games and enjoying them less. It's a habit that I need to break. I have to go back to my roots where I just played a game because it's fun and not tear it down every chance I got.

seriously, how do pc gamers even enjoy games?

@Gamer83 the PR for watch dogs has been abysmal, right up there with microsoft.

Re: Feature: In Theory, Could Titanfall Drop a Bot on PS4?

THEundying27

It's very possible we will see titanfall come to sony platforms and here's why:

EA isn't that stupid, no matter how much money ms gave them there's no way they didn't realize they would be losing their asses off. Forget about the fact that they "forecasted" ps4s "failure", the ps3 already had a huge install base, so that's a lot of potential customers right there.

Here's a different theory of mine: Titanfall didn't come to Sony platforms because maybe EA wasn't sure how successful titan fall was going to be so they released it on very few platforms as possible just to test the waters hence the delay for the 360 version.

Ps3 is already established and ps4 has a solid install base now, that's basically money sitting right in front of ea waiting to be grabbed now that they know titan fall is popular. If not then you can bet we will see titanfall 2 sooner than most people think.

Re: Rumour: PS4's Power Will Slide to Unlock 60FPS in Watch Dogs

THEundying27

@EvisceratorX I find it amusing that people think the wii u is superior because its first party games run at 60 frames. Those games don't require a lot horsepower from the hardware which is why the wii u can run it without any problems.

3rd party is a different story. I've seen the wii u running call of duty games with nasty frame rate dips to the 30s. So yes compared to xbox one and ps4, the wii u is less powerful. You can't take a game like donkey kong or the 10 millionth mario game that run at 60 and put it up against a 30fps game like need for speed rivals and say, "Well if the wii u can do it there's no reason why the ps4 can't". Sounds very silly.

@KALofKRYPTON true true, ill give you that

Re: Rumour: PS4's Power Will Slide to Unlock 60FPS in Watch Dogs

THEundying27

If this is true then I believe watch dogs will have an unlocked frame rate, it wouldn't be a full 60 all the time.

@BrB I'm not seeing anything on the pre order page that suggests anything about the frame rate rumor, unless you were directing us to the page for something else.

EDIT: never mind I was looking at the sony page on my phone and it didn't show the entire thing. It does say 60fps.

Re: Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark Rolls Out from 24th June

THEundying27

Until I see some game play I'm going to remain skeptical about this title. Here are signs that a game will suck:

1. Review embargoes. To be fair though I understand that developers are still fine tuning the game up until the last minute and have it patched in on release day. Let's be honest though, games like halo and call of duty always have early reviews and those are huge triple A titles that in my opinion, need more fine tuning than anything. So when shady developers like beenox and gearbox are secretive about their game it's usually a bad sign.

2. Lack of game play footage/developer being secretive about the game which ties into review embargoes. Amazing spiderman 2 just came out and there was little to no game play shown(at least from I saw or didn't see) and we all know why now, it sucks!!!!!!! Another example of a developer being shady.

Anyways my rant is done. My son loves transformers so I'll keep my eye on this one.

Re: This Input Code Adds Credence to the PS4 Port of Beyond: Two Souls

THEundying27

@Gamer83 I see where you're coming from but keep in mind not everyone owned a ps3 like myself so we didn't get a chance to play these games. Them releasing ps4 ports actually saves us from having to spend whatever the ps3 costs now just to play games like tlou and instead putting that money towards buying ps4 games even if they're just ports of previously released games, and believe me, I know people that went out and bought a ps3 just to play gta5 when they could've bought 4-5 games for their new console.

Sorry if Sony hasn't met your expectations but seriously don't let it get the best of your emotions when you don't get your way.

Re: March NPD: PS4 Overcomes Titanfall to Top Hardware Charts Again

THEundying27

Even if Microsoft sells units at which point do they start profiting? I can't even begin to fathom how much money they've thrown in towards X box one. To keep titanfall and plants vs zombies away from Sony definitely wasn't cheap. And then to give titanfall away for free at the end of it is crazy.

I have a feeling titanfall will have a sequel sooner than everyone is expecting. EA is most definitely salivating at the fact that the new titanfall will be available to an additional 7 million+ customers(who knows how many units sold by then) and thanks to Microsofts hype for this game, i know ps4 players are dying to play this and will have no problem buying it the minute it's available for play station

Re: Rumour: The Post-Apocalyptic Metro Series May Be Taking a Train to PS4

THEundying27

@Gamer83 wow, you mad? Where do I begin?

Who's to say people won't get both this and evil within and get the best of both worlds? What sickens me is people like you complaining about HD ports coming to the ps4. HD remasters isn't anything new, happens with movies ALL the time. But for some reason when it happens with games, gamers throw a huge pissy fit. As far as calling it lazy, unless you've played the remaster, you wouldn't know if it's a bad port therefore you saying it's lazy has no merit. So come back after you've played it.

I for one would buy this and have been waiting for this since it was rumored. I have a tendency to be a graphics whore and since I'm a console peasant, I have to lower my expectations when it comes to things like graphics and frame rate all the time, I'm not exactly ready to jump to pc gaming. You may have this game that you got for free in your backlog or whatever, but you have the ****ty downgraded version that was optimized for last gen hardware.

It all boils down to preference, some people prefer visual eye candy and would gladly pay for this port. It's like buying a blu ray movie instead of the standard version. Why would anyone pay an extra 15-20 dollars just to watch the SAME EXACT MOVIE? Because some people prefer the higher quality version while others could careless and the fact that developers are catering to players that are down for these remasters gets a thumbs up from me.
