Yes, Sony's Readying an Official Grand Theft Auto V PS4 Bundle

So much bundles in EU, poor US.

The selling power of the GTA franchise will never cease to amaze me. I mean, this game sold so many units last gen that I would imagine basically anyone with an interest in it has surely played it already, be it on PS3 or PS4. And in spite of that, I reckon people will still buy PS4s in huge numbers just to play a game that most of them have probably already played.

Console bundles made sense with TLOU Remastered, as being an exclusive there would have potentially been a lot of 360 owners who hadn't been able to play it last gen. It just seems a bit of an odd concept here, but hey if it works it works!

I know they updated GTAV graphically, and that white PS4 is really nice, but I can't help but think that in it's 2nd Christmas the PS4 should be bundled with, oh I don't know, maybe a new game? The big blue Di 2.0 Marvel edition box did look nice on the shelf at Target. (Everybody always complains about Wii Us lack of games, and deservedly so, but at least it had SM3DW it's 2nd Christmas)

Is the PS4 really not getting ANY new "exclusive" exclusive games this Christmas? LBP4 is still on PS3 though PS4 should still get a bundle w/ the stuffed Sackboy and all that other DLC from LBP2 Special Ed.

Guess that would explain the "PS2 had a great 1st year" article.

@get2sammyb - Yeah, DriveClub occurred to me after I posted, but it didn't seem worthy of me going back and editing it in. Maybe if it had turned out better. Well that and it was due at launch 12 months ago for free. Not the game you want bundled w/ your device a year later.

Maybe by Christmas 2015 we can have The Last Guardian bundle. Or Uncharted 4. Or FFXV. I know that wont be exclusive but my brain has never accepted FF games on Xbox consoles so I'ld be ok w/ it. Or BG&E2. Or KH3. Or that mM marionette maker Move game, that could be a cool family bundle.

Future looks bright, but I'm not feeling it this Christmas. I guess in retrospect LBP3 should have been exclusive - PS3 has enough family games w/ S:TT and DI 2.0 - but the guys making the games have to eat too.

I already own a PS4!! And I've completed the single player twice on 360,I also have a lvl 72 online lol, I have pre-ordered it again for PS4!! Can't wait to redo all the single player with in my face amazing graphics and jump online with the 30 players!!! Roll on!!!

Dang I should have gotten this bundle instead of the Destiny bundle.

I really couldn't care less which system has the exclusive's as the game Im actually looking forward to the most is The Witcher 3 which is a third party game, which will be on both current gen systems but is out until nest February. Other than that there is the next installment of Rocksteadys amazing and final part of the Batman series, but sadly that happens to be yet again another game that got delayed. Still, I have alot faith that Rocksteady will deliver something very special yet again.

In terms of PlayStation exclusive games for this holiday I have to admit its looking very weak indeed on that front. I was really expecting Evolution Studios and Sony to deliver with DriveClub but unfortunately I feel that even if by some miracle DriveClub turns out to be a great game I feel that the damage has already been done.

I already know of a few friends that're thinking about going back over to the darkside (XBOX lol) and not just because of this DriveClub issue. Coming over from XBOX they have noticed that PSN is nowhere near as stable as XBOX Live. Also with Microsoft doing a 180 on alot of the policies that hurt then them at E3 2013 and also purchasing up third party studios and having some pretty good looking first party games in the pipeline I can understand why they're feeling this way.

I myself have chosen the PS4 and im in it for the long hall. I have to admit though, having LBP3 as one of the only PS4 exclusive's leading up to the Christmas period its looking as though XBOX could be on a few more peoples Christmas list the holiday.

Besides GTA V and Far Cry 4 there isn't anything else that gets me exited and proud to own a PS4.
I just hope Sony has something special hidden up there sleeve to announce for the Christmas period. If they could some how, by some miracle, release No Man Sky and maybe the Uncharted 1,2,3 and Vita box set that may help.

I've been playing video games for around 30 years now and I've seen alot of first year system game releases and to be fair the first year of PS4 has been one of the strongest I've seen. We've had some great digital games and some pretty good first part releases. It's just a shame that DriveClub has been riddled with issues as I think Sony was hoping that game would have shown people part of the reason they invested there time, money and faith in the PS4.

I know one thing for sure and that is, even if Sony's PS4 doesn't do aswell as they'd hope this Christmas the PS4 will go from strength to strength ove the next 2-3 years. Don't forget that the PS4 architecture is a tonne easier to work with than is predecessor and look how good and varied those games got. Even though the PS4 has had a massive sales lead so far Sony and the developers included cannot afford to get complacent.

My predictions of first party games this holiday are as follows..
Planet Side 2 which is long over due.
Uncharted 1,2,3 Vita Box Set
Beyond Two Souls
God of War 1,2,3 and Ascension Box Set
And I have heard of a few other re releases but no mention of what.

The Uncharted and God of War would make complete sense since the X1 has the Halo quadtrilogy due out over the holiday period too.

What ever secret announcements Sony has I just hope they're not ony top games but make sense and I wish them lots of luck.

Well this will definently sell well. Of course all the consumers will buy into this and treat it like brand new. The way consumers think about buying into all these ports just p*sses me off.

@rjejr Yeah a Kingdom Hearts III bundle makes more sense than a Far Cry bundle.

Just saw the Sunset Overdrive white X1 bundle on tv during the Jet game. Game looked like a cell-shaded inFamous. I always thought it was a FPS. Now Im watching an ED commercial. I know theres a joke in there somewhere, but itd probsbly on the Wii U.

Maybe they will announce a blockbuster game during PS Experience event, and launch it right before Christmas. Though that sort of thing never happens in game industry....

Ok, there are a ridiculous amount of bundles now. Even though that that's a good thing. But what's next.......
