Re: Goro's Mortal Kombat X Fatalities Are Great but Gross

THEundying27

A few things I've noticed and I know I'm just being nitpicky:

1. There's no blood on goros hand after pushing the head in the body.

2. When the head goes in there's no giant hole. You can still see the tiny opening for the esophagus. It's how it would look if sub zero was decapitated.

The bubbles coming out of the stomach are a nice touch.

Re: God of War III Remastered's PS4 Price May Make Olympus Mad

@get2sammyb dude, 39.99 is nothing. Stop crying.
In order for me to get this game for 2.99 I would have to actually buy a new ps3(I don't buy used) which is like what, over $200? 39.99 is actually a great deal for me seeing as how I already own a ps4 . My only other option would be to buy a ps3 which is totally out of the question. So yeah like I said, 40 dollars is a steal for me.

And even though I'm late to the party, I get to experience this game for the first time in full hd. 😈

@Jazzer94 sooo....another $10 is a deal breaker for you? You must still live at home with your mom if you're making a big deal over $10.
$40 is still a much better deal than the $65 the majority of you guys have already paid for it.

Re: Rumour: God of War III Spills Guts on PlayStation 4

@Boerewors if backwards compatibility is such an issue for you then maybe you should consider getting into pc gaming and quit whining about it, you'll never have to worry about it on that platform.

And then you can spend MORE time gaming and less time writing 4 paragraph rants on forums.

Re: Review: Evolve (PlayStation 4)

This game isn't for everyone. It's challenging even with bots. I've played maybe 2 matches online and each time I was wiped out as a hunter. I've been playing offline with bots, leveling up and unlocking upgrades and perks.

I didn't like this game at first. I hated the beta but mostly because I didn't really get to play because of the servers. But now that I have full access to the game and can play offline I'm totally digging it.

I've mostly been playing as Markov, trying to max him out before moving on to the next hunter. This game feels very rewarding when you win because it doesn't come easy. You have to really work for that win and I can see a lot of people getting turned off by that.

I give this game a solid 8.5

Re: Talking Point: How Important Is Game Length?

THEundying27

Me personally I haven't watched the YouTube video to avoid spoilers but it just seems like whoever made it has an agenda to tarnish the order before release.

I hate rushing through games. I'm not the kind of person that plays a game non stop over a weekend and complains that it's too short after beating it. I like to savor the game.

The way I look at it is this: if you can get at least 8-10 hours of fun with your purchase then it's definitely worth it, in my book.

I know I'll be able to get at least 8 out of the order. I'll play it on the hardest difficulty and will probably die hundreds of times.

Re: Review: Dying Light (PlayStation 4)

@get2sammyb there are ways to preserve your weapons.
1. Stock up on metal parts/items to repair them.
2. Pick your fights wisely
3. Take advantage of throwing zombies onto spike traps and using all the other traps available.
4. Molotov cocktails are your friend!

Re: Review: Dying Light (PlayStation 4)

THEundying27

Why are reviewers complaining about weapon degradation? It's a survival game. Just scavenge the appropriate parts and repair it. I'm always stocked up on things like metal parts, gauze and batteries.

Playing this now.

1. It's fun! I'm playing with turtle beaches. Melee has oomph. You can hear the loud thuds when you hit them.
2. Graphically it's beautiful for a console game. Looks a tad bit dumbed down compared to all those pc videos and screens hots they've been showing us.
3. Consistent frame rate. So far no dips.
4. Very bloody and gorey, I love it.
5. Controls take some getting used to.

I'll be up playing for another hour or so. Any questions ask away.

I pre ordered via ps store. I don't regret my purchase one bit. I'm having a blast.

Re: Guide: How to Survive the Spencer Mansion in Resident Evil HD Remaster on PS4, PS3

THEundying27

I've never finished resident evil 1 and I owned it for ps1. I completely forgot the mansion layout and I also forgot how to manage my inventory spaces. I'm picking up everything! It's crazy how you have to learn how to play this game all over again, at least for me I do. I used my 10% on this. Totally worth it.

I've also noticed the new things they added. I never played the GameCube version before so I'm basing my comparisons off the original.

1. Press R2 to use the dagger? That's totally new.
2. Jill throwing up in the bathroom after unplugging the tub? I don't recall that being in the original.

I'm sure there's more I just haven't made it that far yet. Like I said, I'm relearning the mansion layout and it's taking me a while to progress through the story.

I'm having a blast. It's amazing how this game that was made so long ago blows all these recent Triple AAA blockbuster Resident Evils out the window. Stick to the basics Capcom and watch the money start coming in.

I read that because re hd has been selling well that capcom is considering remaking re2. They'd be stupid not to. It's just a rumor at this point but I can totally see it happening. Imagine Brad Vickers in hd! Lol

Anyways I'm totally excited if you couldn't tell. Have fun guys.
