I gave up on getting on. Till I can walk into Walmart and have the cash, I just don't care. Plus the $70 price for games has just not care for video games anymore.

Cant wait to get this on PC.

@rumple1980 @Snick27 $500 is a one time purchase. $70 is not unless you are using common core math. If you are happy over paying for games then sure keep it up. Some of us work too hard to waste it so some CEO of these companies cant make another million dollars. I hated $60 for games,looking at you No Man's Sky. With most games coming out all buggy, gives me more reason to wait for a price drop. But I hope they raise games to $100 just for you.

@Tatarimokke no we need to complain louder over this price increase cause its going to kill games like this. I for one will be purchasing alot less games now so a game I might take a chance with, now I will just wait 6 months or longer if I don't forget bout it.

Sony is going to kill this game at $70. Should be a $49 game.. Hope Sony changes its mind with low preorders and reduces the price so people can try this game before its a $20 bargain bin game.

I hope this isnt a one hit die game where you start from the beginning of the game. Kinda confused on this so if anyone knows more please enlighten me.

I do everything I can to avoid paying $60 for a game. So no way I'm paying $70. Sony is making a big mistake with this price. How many good games will get unnoticed at that price? In a world with Covid an so many people losing their homes and jobs shut down, just bad timing.

I would pre-order if it was $60 and I dont even have a PS5 yet.

Just canceled by pre-order for PS4 and getting my son the game from GoG. Heard its because of video driver in the old PS4s and newer PS4 run it fine cause of newer driver. Any truth to this?

PS6 will built into its own tv.

All PS5 games need 1080p mode with 60 FPS with Ray tracing and all goodies turned on.

According to some and whom posted this the XBOX SSD is faster.
"Microsoft's direct storage API is insanely fast and Sony can't use it. Microsoft also has a fast decompression method and better compression by roughly 2x.

Lastly because of the custom ssd controller Sony can't take advantage of the AMD boost in data transfer. Sony has to transfer data in 256Mb chunks while Microsoft can transfer data in any chunk size they need. So if they need 8 gigs of data it's transferred in a single 8 gig chunk but on the ps5 to get the same 8 gigs of data it would need to be broken into small chunks.

This transfer process is still fast as hell on ps5 but due to chunk size it's roughly 10% faster on the xbox. Combine that with direct storage API and 2x better compression and faster decompression"

So no SSD to buy for extra storage and can't transfer PS5 games to external HDD and no quick resume plus less space than XBOX SX. Plus XBOX SX last gen games boot up faster than PS5 will.

Question: Would the PS Plus 20 collection be considered PS5 games or still PS4 games? If they are PS4 games would my kid be able to log in his PS4 as me and get access to those 20 games if I had an active PS5? If considered PS5 games would they transfer to External HHD?

Seems Xbox is more ready than PS5 is. Course since people like me won't be able to find one till next year, I hope all of these issues are worked out.

Why cant I store PS5 games on External Hard Drive?

Best Buy won't sell any PS5 or XBOXsX in store this year. So looks like some of us will wait till tax time.

Has anyone seen the speed of Xbox SX SSD? If so is it fast and would it of been good enough for PS5?

@Robinsad i agree, same situation as me. Will have one PS5 and family using it. Sony should of bit the bullet and gave us a 1Tb drive. That little extra space helps. Plus with the SDD going bad after years will kill the game collection fans. I know people with reg SNES still. 20 yrs no PS5 cause of bad SSD that can't be replaced.

What about the 20 PS plus games? I would if nothing else download them and I guess put them on an external drive. My internet is very slow so.

For someone like me that would share the PS5 with my GF and my son, this sucks. Dont families share consoles anymore or everyone rich and have their own system? Guess I will wait and hope they put in a bigger SSD.

If this is just to stop people from camping out for a PS5 then I'm fine with it. But week after I hope they start getting sold in the stores if they get stock.
