There’s a secret, unfinished minigame in Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart – and you didn’t know about it.
In fact, no one did outside of Insomniac Games, as it’s only just been publicly revealed four years after the title’s original PS5 release.
Effectively, when you go to Zurkie’s, before you enter there are two “no weapons” signs. If you shoot the left one five times, the right one four times, and then the left one 13 more times, you’ll be able to ride the mechanical bull on the main dance floor.
The minigame is unfinished and basically a prototype, but it’s something no one knew about until now. Senior designer Grant Parker, who decided to leave the feature in, said he felt enough time had passed by now to reveal the secret.
