Silent Hill F Will Be Enhanced on PS5 Pro, Promises a Smoother Experience 1

Konami has confirmed that the upcoming Silent Hill F, surprisingly due out as early as 25th September, will be enhanced on PS5 Pro.

While it stopped short of sharing any specifications, series producer Motoi Okamoto explained on the PS Blog that the title will “retain graphical fidelity at stable [frame rate]”. Obviously, this doesn’t tell us much, but the new trailer was captured on Sony’s supercharged system and running at 60fps.

We think this is a game where you’re going to want as much resolution as possible, because the “authentic depiction of 1960s Japan” will be even more striking in full 4K we’re sure.

“Players will be able to enjoy a smoother, more aesthetic combat experience,” Okamoto further explained of the PS5 Pro upgrade.

Considering last year’s Silent Hill 2 still doesn’t take full advantage of Sony’s mid-gen refresh, we suppose it’s good to get confirmation that Konami is targeting the hardware from the start here.
