The big question: Will it play at 4K 60 fps on base ps5s? Because the ps4 version can do that now. If it can't why would anyone upgrade unless they're getting a ps5 pro?

I have no plans of getting a ps6. So it might be fine for them now but pretty sure a lot of people like me have been disappointed with Sony this generation.

I like the excuse why it failed was because it was released too close to Hogwarts Legacy. That's like me saying no one watched the baseball game because there was a golf game that aired the day before. They are two completely different animals with different fan bases. HL is not why Suicide squad failed.

sounds like a class action lawsuit to me. If a guy can sue over Jill Valentine not having the right underwear in Re3 remake then somebody is going to over this.

If this is the case why is sony talking about moving on to the next gen by 2026? Why did they say a few weeks ago that the Ps5 wasn't hitting the sales they were expecting? One of the two isn't right. Pick a lane sony.

@FTerrier17 You can purchase it without a membership. I know. That's one of the cool thing about the classic titles. A lot of them you can just our right buy. No membership required.

This was one of the remaining first party studios from Sony that I actually was looking forward to what they were doing next. Now it'll be a shame to see then shut down. Here's hoping this isn't true or they pull a 180.

About fricking time. It felt like all we were getting was jedi games and rouge bandit/smuggler games. Was really hoping the open world outlaws was going to be a mandalorian game. It sucks I have to "imagine" i'm a mandalorian with the psvr2 galaxy's edge game.

OK so if I understand right you won't be able to unlock cars after this date? I remember than unlocking any cars that weren't DLC required you to be online. Is this still the case? Will I be able to unlock the in game cars after this date?

Oh so it's not impossible...So the devs were just being greedy and trying to force people online to get them to spend more money. As a rule I don't buy games anymore that requires a constant online connection for fighting against AI bots.

Why can't we get a remaster of the original? I mean I'll try it but the story was terrible for MW2 (IMO). I'd like to finish out the original trilogy on my Ps5 and I can't yet.

Why? Seriously, the only reason for the Ps4 to have one was due to a format change with TVs. We don't have that this gen. Just refine games to work better on what we have until it is pushed to it's limits like every other console.

What would probably get me to buy one is if they made a revision that had 7 LED lights added and a switch on it to allow me to play my psvr 1 games that aren't getting updated. While I still want to get one, backwards compatibility was the thing that would have had me get it at the ridiculous price of over five hundred. I still chuckle that they try to say the 2nd one is too advanced when the same hardware that is running all the vr2 games can run the vr1 games.

I'd prefer to have a physical version in my hand.

I felt last year was abysmal in terms of the discounts and deals. hopefully it's not the same this year.
