I agree Xbox should have been delayed but Sony needed to reveal what the Backwards compatibility was going to be like. Only about one month before release did Sony talk about offline play and what the scope of BC was truly going to be. Xbox was talking about both months before Sony did (Although recently Xbox has been going through the ringer due to how many hoops you have to jump through to play offline)
The game storage was a huge problem since at the time the only way to play new Ps5 games was to delete existing games on the pathetically small SSD. For the longest time I only could have like 4 games on it.
7 Didn't feel like a small subset of gamers.
I understand others like EA are also having $70 MSRP but most companies have refrained from doing so.
Bend Studio wanted to make a Resistance sequel, Sony declined. They wanted to make a Days gone 2, Sony declined. Sony made them work on a remake (can't remember if it was Uncharted or Last of us) Until they finally got Sony to let them move on to a original IP.

While I can see some aspects of what you are saying, I have to disagree with some of what you are saying. I also didn't say I wanted the system with everything I wanted as soon as possible. I would appreciate if you didn't put words in my mouth. 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 are the ones I strongly disagree with you on.
It's not giving out sensitive information to give crucial need to know details like, can it play offline?
The system should have been delayed a year so that it could launch with the crucial features. one of which is storing a ps5 game on a external hard drive. That was something many owners were getting furious about. Number 7 was pretty self explanatory and is for the most part universally criticized by most gamers.
Sure they're allowed to set the cost of their own games but when most everyone else doesn't follow suit, it doesn't work.
And with number 9 Bend studios would strongly disagree with you.

I can easily explain why Sony is currently being mismanaged.

Example 1: Sony's heavy push to games as a service (Only few IPs have ever been successful)
Example 2: Selling expensive vita dev kits to Indy developers and announcing a few months later No new Vita games would be accepted.
Example 3: Their studio purchases have been games as a service and infrastructure focused. Not "producing more projects" to combat the coming Xbox wave of titles.
Example 4: Creating a emulator locked behind a subscription is incredibly anti-consumer
Example 5: For a few years now, they will not talk about simple need to know information of upcoming products until the very last minute ie back in 2020, "Will the Ps5 play offline"
Example 6: releasing the Ps5 in a non ready state like missing features such as the ability to store ps5 games on a standard external hard drive.
Example 7: their obsession of heavily censoring games produced independently or outside the west but allowing western games (especially in house games) to be as graphic as they want.
Example 8: they shift to make games $70 instead of the standard $60
Example 9: Not letting their studios pursue the projects they want (look into Bend studios)
Example 10: Their lack of interest in preserving games like attempting to close the Ps3 and vita stores down. This one has been hinted at changing with new employees suggested in being focused on game preservation so I placed it last.
Sorry for the long winded response.
