Also here's hoping we get some psvr2 games on ps plus monthly games or the other tiers.They should have another ps plus collection like on ps5 with say 10-20 psvr1 ports for free if your a subscriber.That would make the £530 price more palatable

£59.99 for call of the mountain seems pricey but everyone's been screaming for AAA games for 6 years....now we have them and they will cost £££,you can't have AAA on the cheap

Yey🥳🥳🥳🥳...got mine just now with the call of the mountain bundle(maths£20) and the charging Dock.This has become an expensive hobby lately but I have had this hobby for 40 years now and since vr I'm more excited than ever!!

@TrickyDicky99 you mean the same price point as psvr1?....as you know psvr was £400.Camera and moves added at least £140 often a lot more so £520 after 6 years is less than psvr1 cost

People need to remember re4 remake has psvr2 compatability.How much compatability we don't know yet but I think that's a system seller if it's the full game

I think if they'd bundled in call of the mountain it would have been an easier pill to swallow!I'm probably buying one but the launch line up is worryingly weak. I feel you have sony Japan who are all in with vr but the people who run the western side of sony would drop it in a heartbeat....who will win I don't know but I really hope psvr2 can be a success so we get loads of games

@Dezzy70 the soc in the ps5 is from AMD manufactured by TSMC which is Taiwan...I don't really know why they would give anyone other than apple preferential treatment as everyone is using tsmc chips now including nvidia,apple,Intel,xbox,amd and the list goes on and on

@UltimateOtaku91 I'm already a big Nintendo player but I've loved playstation since day one,they've always innovated and I really like that.Just don't like 'this' innovation its just not for me.I love vr so ill still have a foot in playstation with psvr2 which I'm really excited about

I hate this 50% live service for playstation.People tell me wait till you've played them but I've not really enjoyed any live service games yet.I like single player story driven,survival,arpgs and jrpgs.I see my future being somewhere other than playstation if this is the furure

My mate was always the one with the "other" console,he had a jaguar,neo geo,dreamcast and the list goes on.Loved playing on them though and particularly remember aliens v predator on the jaguar

Still no mention of psvr2 either full game or mode for re4 remake which they teased at the state of play then went on to remove all mention of it in the video.Would love to hear of fully playable re4 remake with psvr2

Do you know anything about the 'psvr2 content in development' which was teased at the sony state of play and we've heard nothing since?

At the sony state of play they announced re4 remake would have some kind of psvr2 integration then it was quickly wiped from the video and nothing more said.Hope to hear about re4 remake as a hybrid game(vr and flat) taking advantage of psvr2 immersion and new features like haptics(head and controller)

@Waa-Laa it's mostly feel not see 60fps though.When I play 30fps when turning it doesn't feel smooth whereas playing 60fps just feels a lot better...less like your walking in treacle

Are you telling me low spec cpu's on pc won't be running this at 60fps.Lower the resolution same as you would on pc to get it running at 60fps.Im not buying it till its got a 60fps mode because I want to support games what have the features I want

There's not really anything inside it though...cameras,lenses and 4k(2x2k)screen.If they sell this for over £500 I think it will fail badly!personally I hope for vr going mainstream which makes me think a £400-450 headset.Theres no way they will charge more than the console

@BoldAndBrash have you tried vr?I had the same feeling as you and had more or less quit after nearly 40 years of gaming.I tried vr and there's a lot of fun involved and being a new medium you get a lot of wtf moments.It can be a chore to set up but once your actually gaming even the most basic game gets a shot in the arm and it can make a good game extraordinary! PSVR2 can't come soon enough

@Uromastryx you enjoyed psvr1 and your not looking forward to psvr2 and being able to play AAA games on it?I think Sony has enough reach to deal with the ps5 situation and put out an accessory what hopefully will push vr into a lot more gamers hands

@Uromastryx I agree they shouldn't make psvr2 because you don't like vr?

There's also the matter of psvr2 content for RE4 remake which Sony advertised in the state of play but has since disappeared completely with neither Sony or capcom mentioning it?(I feel it was advertised a little to early upsetting meta which had just paid for the original RE4 in vr)

There has to be a psvr2 reveal at some point,hopefully with a blow out showing all the games and the tech.An early 2023 release means they have to soon....will they?🤣🤣

Why do games have to keep you interested when you've finished the story?does anyone play once then move onto something else anymore?

I'd say the ps5 port is ok.Its a ten year old game so in reality there wasn't gonna be a lot done to it so 60fps,1440p and very basic ray tracing is the bare minimum.Its AAA gaming at its worse that rockstar has sat back and milked online to death and will continue to do so.For one of my past favourite gaming franchises(4,vice city and San Andreas)I have very little hope for 6 and it's sad really!

AC Unity is 60fps if you play the unpatched 'disc' version on ps5

@jFug I'm not a ubi fan but the last thing they do is abandon there games after a year.Theyve got a track record of multi year support for most of there games,even the ones which aren't that popular

@Beerheadgamer82 there hasn't been a remaster of dead space already.This will be the 3rd version of the last of us in 9 years

It's creatively bankrupt,far too expensive for what is a game most people have bought at least once and naughty dog should be using there insane talents to make a new ip and not being shackled to the last of us

Apparently there working on a second psvr2 title on top of the pancake games there making,bodes well as the persistence was a cracking 1st try with what was seriously average tech.Again could the AAA flat game be a psvr2 hybrid title what works in flat but works as a vr title also which Sony has said they're pushing for in the future

Love to know what the 'psvr2 content in development' actually is,wether it's the full game(fingers crossed) or a mode like mercenaries (no thanks).As Sony is meant to be going all out with this hybrid model of flat AAA games also with a vr mode it will be interesting to see how they treat this game

@dschons I've played every aim controller game and you can't use it on Re7,ds4 only
