@Porco most of the games being ported over from psvr1 have free upgrades?

Would still love to know what psvr2 content for re4 remake entails.Theyve said nothing since the state of play and I'm guessing it's got something to do with the quest 2 version of re4vr but who knows.Fingers crossed for full game playable on psvr2 for later on in the year to release alongside half life alex when sony gives psvr2 its real push

You mean VRS variable rate shading what's causing the problems

@Yozora146_ yeah if you look online there's videos of people at ces setting the game up with analogue sticks for movement.Just sony making there people be extra careful about making people sick from morion sickness....not a great 1st impression puking I guess🤣🤣

You can move using the analogue sticks as well,it's in the settings.Guess the arm movement control system is to help with vr sickness

@neonpizza neither of the headsets are gonna look great on though as its a brick on your face so saying one brick looks better than the other is a bit moot.One headset plays games at ps4-5 level though which imo is the most important fact

@Toypop if frame rates and resolution are so important to you why don't you buy a pc where you get what you want?

@Ravix I may be on my own here bit I feel spiderman was crammed with way to much ***** and would have been a much better game cut in half with a more curated world and mostly story content.Even though it's optional all the filler puts me off a game the moment I see it.I feel the big Sony games are nearly all heading in that direction which saddens me as I've always loved sonys exclusives through ps1,2,3 and 4

@tallythwack but then you would have missed classics like portal,titanfall 2,dead space 1&2 and many many more what were all 10-12 hour games

@Stocksy see that's the thing,a short game shouldn't be £70 imo.I think the whole pricing of games needs a rethink but what do I know,lol

This obsession with massive games is so tiring!Ive been gaming for 40 years now and artificial padding of games to make it feel like better value for money is the main thing I really dislike about modern gaming.With these super powerful machines capable of making any game you could think off the main thing a lot of people want is size?Give me ten hours of classic gaming over 50 hours of repetitive ticking off of map markers and dull side quests...its the bane of modern gaming it really is

Hope im wrong but it's not pavlov pc it's pavlov shack the quest port,the graphically downgraded version of pavlov made for quest and mobile vr(more importantly no mods what makes the game special on pc).I'm buying psvr2 for proper games not possible on quest and hopefully hybrid games will become more popular like re8 and no man's sky what have flat versions but are fully playable in vr

I just don't know how you arrived at your score of 7.I kept going expecting the game to improve but it just wasn't fun and the controls were terrible like you were walking in quicksand....I would recommend to no one,not even a dc universe fan

@sjbsixpack the apple headset is rumoured to be over £3000.....psvr2 is £550 I know I pre-ordered one

@blackndark it's rumoured to be £3000 minimum,so it's gonna be a super niche product whenever it lands

@TrickyDicky99 that's not actually true,the quest 2 has a ppi of 773 and the psvr2 has a ppi of over 800

In my opinion it's one of the best launch line-ups for any console let alone a peripheral.I've been gaming for 45 years now and I've seen some real empty line-ups from some really popular consoles.I also think it's a brilliant piece of tech at a pretty decent price when you think about what your getting and the equivalent pricing of vr headsets.Vr can take games to a whole new level of immersion so I hope it gets more traction this time

@Yozora146_ ubisoft,ea and Bethesda bandai namco and warner bros all supported psvr....that's a few I can remember

Wonder if we'll get psvr2 games in plus essential?If sony is serious about vr it would make a lot of sense and there's a whole load of quest ports and psvr updates what could be given pretty cheaply with the occasional banger.Heres hoping🤞

@JP8 pistol whip is getting free upgrade but synth riders hasn't even announced a next gen version yet but it'll probably be coming

Cinematic mode has already been 'announced' at 1080p which is quite disappointing but hopefully better in person than how it sounds

Shouldn't be as big a problem putting discs in now the headset has a passthrough camera...plus picking up drinks and leaning on 'real' tables instead of falling flat on your face leaning on a VR table🤣🤣 Very excited for psvr2!

WHAT ABOUT GRAN TURISMO 7?We have no decent car racing games on any psvr device so this would be awesome plus would pull a lot of people I know in to vr.To be honest atm it's all looking a bit lacklustre apart from 3 or 4 games

@TheMarinePS hope your joking but if you couldn't play it flat you won't be able to play it in vr because it will be so much more scary!re7 I could play flat without thinking but in vr at some points I was frozen with fear.VR is so much more immersive when it comes to horror!

@Hindenburg you can play nearly all vr games standing and seated...I play mostly seated and don't have any problems

This looks like it would make a brilliant ps5-psvr2 hybrid game,playable on both but with increased immersion on psvr2 +VRaF

@dschons yeah was gonna keep my psvr for my backlog of 100 games but it seems the best will be ported across to psvr2 so I'm firmly in the get rid camp now

I think there missing a trick not doing free upgrades!they'll get bad publicity for it plus people who had free copies would be streaming it allowing new owners to see what the hypes about all the time making new customers for polyarc.Plus they sold so few copies of moss book 2 and most people if they got moss book 1 free would buy moss book 2....I know I would!

And moss book 1&2 announced today for psvr2(well you can get 1&2 together in a deluxe edition)no word yet on free upgrade for previous owners of either game

Please sony sign the deal and move on,your beginning to look desperate and not the leader of gaming everyone assumes!I just hope they can look past COD and come up with there own killer game for the masses as that's what they've always done,not pandered to Microsoft!Personally hate COD with a passion since MW4 so it all means nowt to me

@Styledvinny79 they supported it for 6 years...not a lot of 1st party I agree but they were still paying for exclusive games like moss 2 and wanderer in 2022

@Terry12 they've not been sold out for anyone,you just have to log into your psn account and refresh and they come up for sale.Everyone has had the same problem

@Robocrop_Duster it's being released after the psvr2 version at some point in 2023 apparently

1st one was complete frustration on psvr,so looking forward to new version with eye tracking,oled hdr,haptics and all the rest but mainly to not lose tracking ten times per minute or get killed because you can't pick your gun up

@Sequel apparently there's a second pre order 'event' on the 6th December so if you can forgive sony there's a second chance to register your interest to get an invite

Played it through to finish over the weekend and not once have I had any complaints.It may be 1080p but there's some real imagination in the characters and backgrounds.I would recommend the game to most people as long as your aware what your buying.....its a brilliant action game,no frills just fun.Btw played on an lg c2

@Gh05tm4ch1n3 but psvr ports aren't hundred million pound games like ratchet and clank.It would cost them very little and garner a hell of a lot of goodwill

@Boucho11 I think a lot of content creators and 'normal' people are expecting Gta5 at some point mainly due to the ps5-psvr2(with eye tracked foveated rendering) being capable of rendering it this time unlike the underpowered ps4-psvr.people think there will be a big push by sony for AAA hybrid games which play on tv's but also on psvr2 with vr-af features.Hopefully your far crys,fallout,last of us...who knows,the sky's the limit.All this is relying on the headset selling though

I know this is really hoping but if Sony want vr to succeed they need to get Gta5 online and campaign for psvr2.I think it would sell bucketloads of headsets to people that wouldn't have bought one

@MasterEMFG I've had most consoles since the atari 2600 but vr is the first time I've been wowed since mario 64 and the start of the 3d era....I just wish sony would push it harder so it takes off more then we get 'the games'

@KaijuKaiser now my lads in his 20s on my ps5 and switch I play an hour sometimes two hours nightly b4 I come to bed but when psvr2 comes out I'll be trying to squeeze in more especially when I get addicted to firewall again(the missus would come down from the bedroom and tell me off for shouting🤣🤣)

@KaijuKaiser oh I love the Mrs to bits(she doesnt mind my hobby)but I do have fond memories of the 3 day gaming sessions you could have as a young un when the new zelda came out with no one to call a halt🤣🤣

@Smiffy01 totally agree with you....1080p 60 is fine as an option it's just become a thing people can moan about and certain people love to moan(and think they're always right)

@huyi as a 50year old male with a wife and a rottweiler I only wished I lived with my parents.My point was I don't want cheap mobile games for psvr I want proper console quality games or they may as well not bother and people stick with there quest2's

@huyi do you want small crappy mobile games for £20-£30 or more along the lines of AAA games for £60-70.Give me AA or AAA all day long with some indies but if it's small cheap games you want there's the quest and 99% of its library
