Resident Evil 4 PS5 Remake

Capcom has detailed what to expect from its TGS 2022 Online Program showcase, and Resident Evil 4 is nowhere to be seen. It was presumed the Japanese expo would play host to the latest footage and information from the PS5 remake, but Capcom hasn't included the game in its lineup. Instead, there's the Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, Street Fighter 6, Exoprimal, and Mega Man Battle Legacy Collection.

Of course, the Japanese publisher could simply make it a surprise inclusion, but it's no longer something that should be expected in next month's event, taking place on 15th September 2022. The Gold Edition of Ethan Winters' latest escapade — which includes the Shadows of Rose DLC, a third-person mode for the base game, and more Mercenaries content — will have further information to share.

Then, Street Fighter 6 will debut a new trailer and updates concerning "characters featured in the game, as well as the new World Tour and Battle Hub modes". Exoprimal will debut new characters, dinosaurs, and Exosuits, and the latest Mega Man collection will present a look at some of its additional features.

Capcom has also confirmed the PSVR2 version of Resident Evil Village will be playable on the show floor, giving the public its very first chance to go hands on with the next-gen headset. When do you expect to hear from Resident Evil 4 next? As a reminder, it's out for PS5 on 24th March 2023.
