@NEStalgia I totally agree with you as I've always been of the opinion psvr2 is a final gift from sony Japan to us vr lovers what jim and sony of the western hemisphere have no time for and are willing to let die as it doesn't make money money money!
@Somebody gt7,re village, walking dead s&s 1&2,no man's sky, song in the smoke are 6 examples of longish games ranging from 12 hours all the way to 100s of hours
@Mega-Gazz totally disagree,I think vr makes most games better as being in the game rather than watching it takes immersion to a whole different level and we're all trying to be immersed in our games
This is why hybrid titles like re village need to be a thing going forward as making a game already in development for flat gaming work in vr is much easier than building a whole new vr only game. There's also a plethora of old titles which could be given the vr treatment and a whole new life so what's stopping Sony as it seems an obvious route to take!Imo re village is the best game on psvr2 and an obvious example of hybrid games working really well and adding new sales for publishers.
@TrickyDicky99 jesus your so clever,I should really look out for your comments as you seem to know more than sony and everyone else tbh....I really wish I was you 🥱🥱
@Kidfunkadelic83 for games you should be ok with until you get vr legs of steel I'd suggest demeo, last clockwinder, thumper, tetris effect, rez and maybe song in the smoke(brilliant but a lot of movement). When you've done your apprenticeship you can play resident evil 8 and both walking dead s&s games plus call of the mountain(a lot of people rag it but it's beautiful)
@Bingbongboyo yeah never try pushing through sim sickness because your brain will start associating vr with sickness and you'll not want to play.As for games to play before you get your vr legs try moss book 1&2,demeo,tetris effect, last clockwinder, puzzling places and drums rock are a few to keep you going
@ztpayne7 jesus, someone with commonsense, you are a rarity! Most people new to vr are jumping straight into the big hitters what happen to have the most movement and are also the worst for sim sickness.I tell people all the time 'start of slow and in no time you'll be playing the big games' but most people refuse to listen
So what about using the same system to sell or swap our digital games?Bet they won't be so fast to put that into place but they could charge for each transaction.Ive got thousands of games I'd love to sell or swap on multiple platforms
@munstre console gaming has always been gaming at a budget price which half way through the generation becomes a bit of a struggle for the consoles. If people want 4k 60fps for all games pc gaming is there for them.Console gaming is there for the mainstream,pc gaming for people prepared to pay for the best!
I'm sorry for the devs who have been forced to make this travesty but I really hope it fails and badly!Hopefully this will send a message to publishers(are you listening Sony)that when you've got one of the best franchises in gaming think twice about its direction
How can fiddly reload be a con when you can tailor it to whatever you choose.Theres auto reload with a button to semi auto where you put in the clip or full manual when it's like loading a real gun...options are all I want and they gave us them
Psvr2 will struggle unless they support it heavily with first party games simple. If they carry on with this half hearted approach meta's new quest 3 due out in the autumn will stomp it into the dust!Fingers crossed Sony are gonna support it properly and make it hot property in the coming years
@carlos82 because of the drought of games on pcvr I'm hoping sony spending a fortune on r&d for the psvr2 means we'll get loads of top exclusives for psvr2.Im also hoping the spurt in interest for psvr2 will have a knock on effect for pcvr and we'll get a bit more investment in games
@carlos82 if you expect the quest 3 standalone to be even close to the psvr2 then your gonna be seriously disappointed. If your gonna use it as a pcvr headset then that's different but you'll be missing psvr2s exclusives
@dschons totally agree with you...I think a lot of this is down to new users expecting it to be as sharp as a 4k TV but forgetting they have a panel one inch in front of there eyes!the other and biggest problem is EXPECTATIONS and peoples should be realistic and grounded in reality
@PenguinLtd I have the same thoughts as you and it really bothers me that sony my favourite publishers are going all in live service!I say no thanks and if it continues I will play vr on pc and nintendo games and the rest can go f... themselves....45 years of gaming and its coming to this🤯🤯
@thefourfoldroot1 I would say it's not really your standard survival game....the survival bits have been made fun by the tactile nature of making the things you need.Give it a go if you can and I'll bet you enjoy it!
@NEStalgia completely different sort of game,SitS is heavily focused on vraf crafting and survival. It has a really good campaign what you start and finish in 20-25hrs,I prefer it to nms but that's me
It's funny I think because of the name most people dismiss it but it's one of the few full length games on psvr2.It has really tactile crafting and great combat and exploration.Give it a go and thank me later
@Shepherd_Tallon if you've not tried it song in the smoke is a 9/10....got a ***** name but it 25hrs,great graphics and gameplay, trippy story and its a survival game but vraf
@Dobbos dont try and push through it!If you get that hot and sweaty feeling stop and have a breaking go back when it's subsided.Eventually you'll be able to play without getting sick.
@thefourfoldroot1 totally agree with you...I think most of the people who rave about Alyx haven't actually played it.It's a beautiful game but very narrow in gameplay design with not much of an upgrade system and its biggest sin is that its a half life game without being able to hit people with the crowbar. Its an 8/10 not the all saving game what psvr2 needs or else it will fail
@Yozora146_ they'll probably add support for re7 but they want everyone concentrating on re8 at release.Personally think they'll drop re7 in summer then re4 remake support(plus Alyx) in late autumn for the big Christmas psvr2 push 🤞🤞🤞
@Nepp67 jedi fallen order and apex legends made them successful....titanfall 2 while great was a commercial train wreck after being released between battlefield and cod
@Infern0 they've sold 30 million ps5 so if even 5% of ps5 owners(% of ps4 owners with psvr1) buy a psvr2 that will be 1.5 million sold on current numbers. That is more than worth an advertising campaign or looking like your bothered!
Love all the playstation ad campaigns but if you were bringing out a new piece of hardware in a few weeks wouldn't you be trying to sell it to people?Sonys lack of interest in psvr2 baffles me as it must have cost a fortune in r&d,its almost like they want it to fail?
